Elisabetta tied the strings on her new running shoes and gave them a test bounce. For once she was stripped of everything except her workout gear, yoga pants and a sports bra, ready to break some personal records.
As she toddled down to the indoor track she gazed out onto the volleyball court. In her mind's eye she could imagine Gabrielle slamming down a serve on some poor teenagers face. Lissy giggled.
Down and around, up and down, and down again until Lissy opened the doors to the track. She sat her duffle down on a wooden bench and started stretching.

A girl was in place a few benches over, doing warm up stretches as well. The oversized t-shirt stating "Common sense isn't so common any more," and baggy grey cotton pants weren't enough to hide the grotesque angle her leg was stretched to. It was a wonder her leg didn't snap out of socket; she was holding her foot up by her leg, knee left unbent. But, she didn't seem uncomfortable at all. In fact, she looked like someone who stretched after a nice nap; comfy. She counted to five quietly to herself before letting her leg snap back to the floor, balancing on it and the wall as she pulled her other leg up at that obscene angle.
This place didn't seem as bad as she'd originally thought. It was heated; that was definitely a bonus. While she hadn't been too enthused about about coming here to begin with, it looked like it might be some fun. Besides, she hadn't gotten as much exercise as she usually did thanks to the cold. She didn't want to become pudgy from the high-fat foods that were cooked at their house mixed with the video games.

When Lissy stood up she couldn't help, but to be drawn to the other girl. Her mouthed gaped open. True to her word she was a flexible person, but there was no way she would ever try something like that. What was even odder was her bi-colored skin and single head wing. 'Must be another spawn', she reasoned. They were popping up like daisies now.
She switched her gaze back to her bag to avoid being caught staring. The longer tentacle snatched up her ankle weight, which wouldn't have been a big deal if it wouldn't have hurled it at the other girl. "HEY!" Lissy swatted it with the other weight. "What did I tell you about doing that? You could have hit her. We don't have insurance." She hissed, leaning in close for her point before looking up nervously at Zuba. "Did I hit you?"
