Was anyone else watching the parade? I watched it, and all other parades, so I can check out the bands.
There was this one band towards the beginning, El Dorado or something like that, and I almost yelled "dress the lines!" at my tv. One line looked like a zigzag, another like some kind of weird fishing hook. They had a great sound, but their form was way off. And then I got ma at another before them because somebody was out of step. I probably shouldn't watch parades anymore, if I want to keep my tvXD

I think I heard there was a band of people that were blind, or something like that. I think that's what my mom said, at least...I was listening to music while my mom was telling me about it. xd It's possible that might be what you saw?
I didn't watch it myself, though. I was too busy dying after staying up until 8 am and getting up at noon. xd

I didn't watch the parade but I saw U of O's band at halftime. I was busy trying to find people I might know ninja

I didn't watch it myself, though. I was too busy dying after staying up until 8 am and getting up at noon. xd The band of blind kids was surprisingly good. It made me wonder how they did it, even with a person with sight for every blind person. Their forms were nonexistant, and their sound was a bit off, but the fact that they were all in step and pretty much together amazed me.

I only saw like the last band in the parade. And I didn't get to see the college bands which is what I was mainly interested in. Oh well. Kirei_chan I didn't watch the parade but I saw U of O's band at halftime. I was busy trying to find people I might know ninja I saw both halftimes and I have to say OSU looked waaay better than Oregon (what is with those uniforms?). Which is kind of embarrassing, as a fellow Pac-10 bandsman. ~sigh~
