Fav. Food: Chocolate covered cherries. They're his guilty pleasure despite the fact that he thinks they're going straight to his a**. Tea
Hated Food: Pickled anything, frozen fish sticks, anything processed. He prefers his food organic.
Hobbies:
- Piano -- His parents got him into playing piano at a young age hoping that it would make him more of a well rounded individual. It did in a way and in another it made him a bit of the weirdo. He often thinks of life in terms of how different pieces of music make him feel emotionally and some times swears that he can hear music as a soundtrack to his life. Music of any form, but mostly piano, triggers a deep emotional reaction out of him and he feels almost dead if he can't listen to something.
Rose Gardening -- His mother kept a small rose garden and after she died he took over caring for it. Now he adores the flowers and always keeps roses with him somehow. He has dozens of books on how to care for roses, knows almost every variety, and has even tried creating a new one himself.
Romance -- Movies, books, plays, whatever. Aure is a hopeless romantic and gobbles up any sort of sappy story. He can swoon with the best of them and finds ways to work words you find nowhere else but a romance novel into his every day vocabulary (He calls his room a boudoir, really, he does.) When he was a child he wished he could be Juliet so that some hansom man would be willing to die for him.
This comes out of his experiences with his mother. She was an actress and his first memory of her is of her in the roll of Juliet. Her beauty and the way she portrayed the character burned itself into his mind. Since then he has been obsessed with the ideal of Juliet and tragic romances.
When he was seven his mother was murdered and the murder never solved and his mind has twisted around this idea even more since then. With her gone he tries to bring her back any way he can and often that means twisting himself to fit her image.
Virtues:
- Loyality -- Aure is nothing if not loyal. Once you are friends with him he is your friend for life (so long as you don't do something horrendous that he has to hate you for) and he will do nothing to break that. He hates the idea that someone could turn on a friend for any reason and despises those that do. He believes you should pick your friends carefully and that the bonds should be tight and he chooses to keep those bonds tight by standing by his friends though thick and thin.
The Cavaliers - So long as they are not getting in the way of his duties to The Prince he considers them as his closest friends. He would give his life for them if it meant they succeed in their ultimate goal and expects that they would do the same. He believes that nothing can come between them and that so long as they are loyal to each other they can do anything.
Delicate -- Despite being male and the 'harder' of the genders he managed to completely miss most of the bad things about being male. He is gentle and soft and delicate (when he's not attempting to strangle you because you tipped his emotions the wrong way). He can also apply this to situations and often can wiggle a good outcome out of the worst balanced situations. His delicate personalty can also disarm others into thinking that he is weak and easily manipulated and he can play up on that like a perfect actor.
"Go get'em cowboy" --Aure believes fully in his friends and is always happy to make them feel better about themselves so they think they can do anything. If it meant that a friend felt better about themselves he would lie though his teeth about something for them. He is very good moral support because of this. Often, at least he believes so, things are mind over matter and all it takes is thinking that something can happen for it to. If you believe you can do it then there's nothing to get in the way to make you fail.
Calculating -- Because he often can turn very heated emotions toward things he can be very detailed in the ways he gets back at someone. So long as his emotions haven't tipped to an extreme he is well known for being a brilliant tactician. He can look at a situation and quickly tally odds and the best ways of doing things making his input invaluable to complicated situations.
Flaws:
- Emotionally Unstable -- Aure is a very emotional person and any little thing can set him off. He has never been able to control himself well and this often gets the better of him. The littlest things can send him into fits of rage or into deep pits of depression. While this can occasionally fuel success it more often is the cause of him failing at something.
Aure was very attached to his mother and after her death even the littlest mention of her can send him reeling emotionally. Where he lands is never a given but it generally it falls to one of two extremes. The first is a volcanic rage at whoever killed her (unknown individual) and the fact that it was never solved. The second is a depression dark enough that the rest of his family is always watching afraid he will kill himself.
Haunting Past - Aure is not completely sure of his feelings for Kunzite but he does know that once he was in love with herhim. He resents Kunzite in a way for being reborn a woman (something he desired) and resents the fact that Kunzite is not interested in him and the fact that even if she were interested he wouldn't be interested in her. This plucks the already tightly wound strings of his emotions and can cause him to snap at the other Cavalier for little things.
Delusional -- He has over time convinced himself of some things that aren't entirely true. He twists the world in his head to fit the nice one he wants to be the truth and often completely ignores things that would be obvious to others. He can very easily convince himself that something false is true or that something true is false.
Vain -- Don't muss his hair, or clothes, or shoes, or skin, or .... or ANYTHING. Aure gets demonic about his appearance and can not stand anyone who either disagrees with his beauty or messes it up. He has spent most of his time growing up trying to perfect the image of his mother he had and trying to be even half as beautiful as she was. Though it doesn't really matter. He knows he is pretty no matter what you say and you're just jealous that you can't look anywhere near as good as he does.
Liar -- More often than not Aure twists the truth to fit whatever he wants. Since he half lives in the laced covered world he's built around his mind he constantly lies to himself and others. Often he doesn't even know that he's lying because he's deluded himself into believing it's the truth. This can make it -very- hard to convince him that something isn't the truth.
