Delphine had skillfully managed to slip out from under her brother's watchful eye, which was even more evident by how her pocket was ringing with each new text he sent her. Did she bother to check it? No. Delphine knew who it was, and why not let him suffer a little? He had tried to make her watch some horrifying friendship movie, and Delphine didn't forget these things easily. She held grudges, she could hold a grudge until the day she died if she cared enough to. Usually after an extended absence from the person she was mad at, she'd forget about it. It was usually the only hope anybody had from escaping Delphine's displeasure.
Her brother was also the reason why she wasn't shopping in her favorite department - electrics. It'd be the first place Damon would look, and he would look there for an hour before giving up to look in other places. By that time, Delphine could be done shopping and already on her way home. The thought made her smile wickedly. That would teach him for being a d**k of a brother.
She sifted through a rack of clothes, the more expensive clothes if only for the reason that half of the money she had on her was Damon's. She'd use it all up if she got the chance to. Some of the stuff she wouldn't even ever wear. This wasn't about extending her wardrobe. This was all about revenge. Hopefully it would hurt, actually, it would hurt. Her brother would get upset at her, but eventually come around again apologizing for making her mad in the first place.
She could see it now.
And it was beautiful.

Skye was shopping for the sake of shopping. She did it quite often, she just went out and started shopping when she got bored. A girl never had enough clothes or shoes or anything else. So here she was shopping yet again.
She had looked at all the tops and the skirts but no that wasn't enough for her. Now she was looking at the dresses. She loved dresses, especially the ones that emphasized her amazing body. She worked out a lot, mostly riding her horse, practicing her archery oh and then there was squash and tennis as well. She had to make sure she looked amazing and of course she was more then happy to try and make other girls jealous of her to.
She did notice the other girl but she looked, well just look at her hair. Disgusting. So Skye was not about to talk to her.

Delphine put away the shirt that she was looking at. Definitely not expensive enough, and not pretty enough to make up for being inexpensive. No, if Delphine was going to shop, she was going to shop big. Didn't they have some dance coming up at school...? Delphine could buy a dress or two, and just say she couldn't pick which one she liked more 'right at the moment'. Hmmm, it would definitely be a sure way to piss her brother off. So, it was time to turn her attention away from shirts and pants and on to better, bigger things. Dresses weren't Delphine's style, but she could make some sacrifices for the greater good of 'pissing-her-sibling-off'.
Delphine turned away from the shirts and headed over to the dresses, standing next to Skye but not bothering to engage in conversation with her. But, if someone was anywhere close to Delphine, it was likely they could get caught up in her destructive path. As it was, Delphine began to eye a dress that Skye's gaze had fallen upon. She didn't much like the dress... but if there was a chance that someone else may want it, she'd take it, just for the sake of being a b***h.
So, with a sweet little smile, she reached out and took the dress, draping it over her arm with clear possession. "I think I like this one," she murmured, just loud enough for the other girl to hear.

Skye looked at the dress and then the other girl took it.
"It's hardly your colour." She looked the girl up and down again and gave a small laugh before picking up a white skimpy dress that had a small black pattern. It was something that Skye would wear, maybe even to that party that had been mentioned at school. Either way black and white suited anyone and everyone, unlike the light purple dress she was going to pick before that girl took it. No she liked this dress better yes.
Skye flung the dress over one arm and looked at another few dresses. Which one to pick now?

She gave Skye a quick look-over, her lips curling with distaste. It was clear that she thought as poorly of the other girl as Skye thought of her. Then again, it wasn't that big of a surprise that Delphine didn't think highly of someone else. It was the rare person who could win her favor. Delphine was usually in the mood to make enemies over friends, she had enough friends as it was and didn't want more. Besides... whatever interactions she intended to have with Skye would be a one-time thing. After this, she'd have had her bit of fun and wouldn't be pestered by the girl's presence ever again. It'd be a hit-and-run attack.
"Mmmm, definitely not your color. Black is a nice one for you, though, probably the best." Of course, black was supposed to make you look slimmer... So what if Delphine was insinuating that the other girl was fat? It was true, really! "Besides, I really do enjoy the cut of this dress. It'll show off my curves nicely... why don't you try looking at that black one there? It'll do you wonders!" Ah, it was so easy to be a b***h under the facade of innocence. What it looked like was that she was trying to be helpful.
She wasn't. She was hoping the other girl would pick up on it.

"Black you say? I think it would go rather well on you to be honest. I mean your curves are a bit on the large side aren't they." Oh yes Skye was more then happy to play this game. In fact she rather enjoyed it like when she got that boy in trouble at the soup kitchen. That had been a lot of fun to.
"Mostly because that dress will show just how much time you would need to spend on your hair." Skye smirked as she spoke, not hiding the malicious tone to her voice. She loved picking on peoples hair mostly because she did take hours to sort her hair out in the morning. Her hair was curly, really curly and she fought to straighten it and get it up so no one knew. Serah probably knew but she couldn't really get around that. It did however mean that Skye cared little about what anyone else said about it as her real hair no one, thankfully, saw.
Either way for now Skye held the white dress up against herself in the mirror. Yes it was perfect length, slutty but not too obviously so. No straps to emphasie a certain body part. She would need a nice expensive jewel to wear around her neck though. Oh yes she would be stunning in this.

"Mmm, but real curves are so hard to find these days. I mean, we get people like you, who don't have any so that it looks like you're anorexic or bulimic - not saying that you are, but it looks that way." She was being less subtle now, but when insulted, Delphine always rose to the challenge. "Men these days are looking for women who look healthy," she frowned just then, glancing to Skye in a way that said she didn't think any man would look to Skye over her. Delphine didn't want to attract the attention of boys, but if Skye did, well, she'd poke fun at it. There were some opportunities that she could not just miss!
"Ah, well, I still think the black is the perfect match for you. It's just as plain as your own hair, so nothing will be unbalanced!" Delphine glanced over to Skye's current choice in a dress, and internally grimaced. She could pick out a slut dress from a mile away. This one wasn't glaringly obvious, but even subtle, every guy on the street would know that there was a ho to be bangin'. Delphine took a careful step away from Skye, just to be careful. She didn't want to pick up any diseases right now.
"Oh, dear, but surely that dress is too short for someone with your class?"

Unlucky for Delphine, boys weren't really what turned Skye on. She just played with them to get at other girls. "They won't be picking you then, healthy? You look like the living dead. Black is without a doubt your colour I mean you are buried in black right? Where do you keep your coffin anyways?" Skye was on a roll, she wasn't even bothered if the other girl found it insulting. She did look like death, the hair really... who puts blue and black in their hair. Disgusting and then, yeah she looked like death, curves or not, useless when ones dead. Unless one was in to things like... ewww no don't want to think about that.
"Hair? Oh really mine is far from plain but then its obvious how much you know about hair. As for the dress, no it's not too short if one wears the right tights underneath. I mean surely you know how to wear a short dress without looking like a slut right?" She spoke as if Delphine was the thickest person on the planet and as if everything Skye was saying was just common sense. Not that Skye had much sense in anything but fashion but that was just Skye.

Delphine laughed, and perhaps that wasn't the effect Skye was going for, but Delphine found it hilarious. The living dead? Really? Poor than not, Delphine was reminded how here power sphere could seem a little bit like death. That poor sailor scout Sirius had been sickened enough by it. It had been a while before she felt like she had some sort of inside joke. "In the locked cellar, so no one can break in and disturb my rest," she replied sarcastically, though her amusement was clear in the undertones of her voice. Delphine could admit that she was pale, and that her dark hair could contribute to her looking like the living dead, she still didn't find it insulting so much as it was funny.
"I don't get the impression that you'd wear tights, though." Oh yes, she was going to stick with the mentality that this girl was a total and complete slut. "Oh... unless you're covering up cottage cheese legs, or even worse, veins practically sticking out of your skin. Oh god, I'm sorry. You know it's a medical condition, and there are places that will get that treated for you?" Oh, if only Delphine knew a place off the top of her head, it would have helped so much in the effect of her insult.

Skye was amused that the girl found it amusing.
"Shame no one locks you down there really. It would save some people their sight." She was mostly ignoring the girl at least she was.
"Oh really, thats low even for a whore like yourself. Making fun of people who might actually have a condition just to try and insult someone? How pathetic." Oh yes Skye was taking the 'high road' now. Morals and all that jazz. Of course Skye would have probably done the same thing really but she was also more then happy to make this random girl look like the bad person. She then picked out another dress, it was a little longer, wouldn't necessarily need tights. The hair could be down and natural though of course heavily moused. She would still need a nice jewel around her neck. Oh choices.... why not get both?

"I imagine it would be like Sleeping Beauty, then, waiting for my handsome prince to give me a true love's kiss." Delphine flipped one of her braids over her shoulder, clearly content to play this game so long as Skye was invested in it, even if her pocket was vibrating like crazy with how many times her brother was sending her a text. Damn, her bill would be high AGAIN this upcoming month. Maybe she'd text him back and say she was on her way home... That would shut him up and give her even more free time to herself.
Oh, right, she was arguing with the girl next to her.
"Ouch, such trashy talk for such a lady," Delphine hissed as if she was experiencing physical pain from the insult. "Mmm, it's just the same when you call someone fat, or someone with pale skin the living dead. Most have some medical reason attributing to it, some pre-existing condition. So, does that make you just a stupid b***h, or what?" She turned her gaze back to Skye, giving the girl a crooked smile.

Skye turned back to look at the girl and just laughed.
"Maybe if that were the case. However I would never refer to an ill pale person as looking dead because that wouldn't exactly be polite now would it? You on the other hand need to get out more. Also if there is a reason medically for a person to be fat, I haven't come across it and I doubt you have either. You just like your food its obvious." Skye rolled her eyes and turned away again. Really was this girl that pathetic? As if there was a medical condition for people to be fat, what a lame excuse.
Yes it was true, Skye was indeed dumb sometimes. She didn't care all that much she was too busy admiring the dress she was sure to buy.
"Maybe you should head back to your coffin before someone runs a stake through you." She could see the girl's reflection in the mirror and would be more then happy if someone did suddenly run a stake through her heart, as long as they didn't get the blood on her or the dresses she wanted.

Oh god, Delphine was right to assume that this girl was stupid. "Mmm, and I think you need to read a little more, if so, you'd not be as dumb as to not know that there are medical reasons and conditions for obesity in some people." At least Delphine could walk away with the knowledge that she was smarter than your every day slut, or every day slut-in-disguise. Delphine smiled to herself, because while the girl was irritating, Delphine could walk away with that valuable knowledge. "Mhhhm, and you must like it enough to barf it back up for that LAST bit of extra taste." She squinted and made a pinching motion with her thumb and forefinger for emphasis (hey, at least her nails were not painted black).
Delphine laughed, and turned to face the girl even as she was backing away. "I vill be back for you, vlah!" A nice fake accent, and some hand motions did all the work for her when it came to imitating a vampire. Really, if Delphine ever ran into this slut again as Nemesis, she'd just paralyze her and slap her across the face. It'd be hilarious to see her expression... But, oh, she wasn't so mad as to really want to abuse her powers. She just didn't like the slut.
Almost didn't like her as much as she hated her brother right now.

Was the b***h leaving? Oh thank whatever gods were out there. Skye didn't even bother to react to the bringing back up food comment or the vampire thing. She saw no point in that, it was somewhat pathetic to say the least.
The funny thing about it was that Skye really wasn't a slut nor was she anorexic or bulimic. In fact she didn't like boys in that kind of way at all. She liked girls though she wouldn't admit it. Yes she kissed boys randomly but that wasn't a slut in her mind. She would never sleep with a boy.... unless maybe she was drunk or something.
"So long b***h." Time to pay for the dresses and head back to the dorm.
