Natalya skipped down from the bus stop. It was another windy day and the child had been forced into a light wind breaker. Though with another gust of wind Tally was kinda glad that Sabra had made her get into the jacket. Her wings were easily captured by the wind after all.
Her hands patted the pockets where a small pouch of money was. Tally was excited, it was the first time that Sabra had given her so much allowance for her own shopping! And since there weren't any lessons today Tally knew that she had plenty of swim time, so...
She was finally going to go there. Now where was there again? Confusion flickered across Tally's face before she turned. "Ah hah!"
Crystal blue eyes widened happily as she spotted what she had been looking for. There! With a giggle the child started running towards the now open sweet shop. So many goodies!

Anthony was not keen on letting his only child wander alone so young in a town he knew for its dark underbelly. That didn't mean, however, that he was always there to chaperone. He had come with Eurie to a book store, and the girl had chosen her book (and bookmark, and journal...) rather quickly, left to wait in boredom as he talked to the store owner about a current case. He had seen her impatience and given her a smile, and a simple "go on, then, meet me here in a half hour". Europa laughed and gave Daddy a hug before scampering out with her allowance.
The sweets shop was clearly her first choice. They didn't really have many sweets at home, and she could certainly live without them, but that didn't mean she didn't love them. She nearly bumped into a girl entering at the same time and laughed again.
"Sorry!"

Tally's interest in the shop had blocked out her watch on her surroundings and the spawn was startled when another girl nearly bumped into her. "Oh!" Tally slid into the store and turned around to face the stranger.
Oh, wow! Amazing wings! Tally wanted to reach out and touch them but decided to behave when she noted the eyes. Plus, Sabra always told her to not randomly touch peoples. But the wings were kinda like Dri's but without the lil dragon heads...She shook her head and focused back on the other girl. "It's okay." She smiled warmly, her antenna shinning happily beneath the jacket's hood. "I wasn't payin' attention."
"Woah!" Tally noticed the candy stands from the corner of her gaze and turned to look over the store. "It's amazing in here!" She grinned back at the other girl.

Yellow eyes watched the approaching hand, but could do nothing about it. Europa herself would not have minded, but she couldn't be sure the eyes were so kind. She listened to the girl speak...and go on and on. What a hyper girl! How in the world would Eurie get a word in edgewise?! She laughed slightly and looked around, surveying the store.
"Uh-huh! I've never been in here before. It's huge." She paused a moment to gape in wonder at the various plastic containers of candy.
"What do you like?"

"I was here once." Tally commented still in awe over the vast amounts of sweets. Not even during Christmas had she seen so much stuff! It was spectacular. Tally's smile brightened as she noticed the candy holders that were apart of the wall. Sabra had told her about how she used to love getting candies from that to put in a bag!
"It is vera huge~" Sang Tally as she looked back to the other girl. But then the girl's question caught her by surprise. What didn't she like? "Everything!" Tally grinned, "I like everything!"
"What about you?" Tally blinked at Europa with interest. "What do you like umm...?" That was right! She hadn't even introduced herself. "Oh! I'm Tally, and yous?"

Europa nodded and only turned back to the girl when she was ready to respond to her question. Of course, the girl introduced herself first, but that was fine!
"Everything but licorice," she replied, "Blech. I'm Europa! Nice to meet you~" She went to the wax paper bags for candy and offered one to Tally before taking one for herself. Hm hm...ooh! Peppermint white chocolate chips with shots on the bottom! That. sounded. delicious.

"Lico-rice?" Tally's eyes widened. How had she never heard of such a thing? Her eyes flickered sorrowful before she looked up at the towering masses of candy. Excitement lightened her face back up and the girl started to fill the bag. No skips were made as she went down the row.
Oooh, something with caramel in it. Tally loved how that stuff sticked to your teeth and then oh! Were those chocolate covered things? Tally giggled and looked over at Europa, "There's so much here, Europa! How do you decide?" Already her bag was half way full.

Europa shrugged as she shoveled some peach gummies into her bag.
"I dunno! Some days I feel like some things, other days I feel like other things." She plucked a string of black licorice from its container and hesitated a moment. Hmmm...
She laughed and tossed it at Tally, watching it flop through the air before bumping the girl in the shoulder and hitting the ground.
"Blech!"

"Ah." Tally blinked at Europa. She kinda understood. Like how some days she felt more like skating then swimming! Kinda. Then the licorice hit her. With a squee of surprise Tally turned towards Europa and lost her hood.
Her antenna blinked in honest surprise as she went for the licorice. "Hey!" With a giggle Tally sniffed the licorice before doing something that she normally would never ever do. She let go. The licorice went flying back towards Europa.
"Gotcha!" Tally grinned.

Europa gave a happy, surprised yelp and laughed, ducking away from the gross candy. It hit her in the belly and she wrinkled her nose on it, still giggling.
"Grooooss~," she 'said' before turning back to her work of candy-choosing, "Licorice looks like rubber and tastes like gummy poo."

"Rubber is gross~" She had truly tried it once. Tally giggled and nearly lost it with the gummy poo comment. "Gummy bears?" She added questioningly as a smirk flickered over her features. Some orange slices coated in sticky sugar were now going into her bag.
Tally grinned. If she remembered to not eat these, Sabra would love 'em! If she didn't eat them first...Tally grabbed another handful just to make sure. With a frown the child realized that her first bag was full.
Better to get one first though. This would keep her on the beach til she came back through to get more. Tally smiled excitedly. More! A day full of sweets was heaven to her! She peeked over Europa's shoulder to watch what the other girl was getting.

"Gummy bears are fine!" Europa laughed, "They taste like fruit and sugar, not poo." She seemed to be in the mood for light, sweet candies today as everything but her chocolate chips followed that trend. Candy-coated almonds, peach gummies, a few hard candies and mints, things of that type. When her bag was full, she turned to face Tally and smiled.
"How're you gonna pay?" she asked, heading toward the front counter, although never taking her eyes off of the other girl.

Tally grinned. Fruit and sugar did taste really yummy after all. Tally jumped after Europa and followed her to the counter. "With money of course!" She giggled, "Sabra gave me some ta gets stuffs with."
Her wings fluttered happily underneath the windbreaker lifting up the edges as she smiled at Europa. "How 'bout you?" Was there other ways to pay for candies? Tally tilted her head curiously.

"Allowance!" Europa replied, handing her bag to the man behind the counter who had seen their licorice-throwing antics and was now glaring somewhat. She slid a ten-dollar bill over the counter and happily received her change before stepping back to let Tally go.
"We should hang out some time! Do you have a cell phone?"

Tally giggled. Allowance! Such a nice thing to have. Tally reached over with a ten dollar bill as well and smiled warmly at the counter man. Her patient smile stunned him to a silent politeness and the child hummed happily as she took her change back.
"We should! We should!" Tally's eyes lit up in excitement. Still she frowned, "Nah, not yets." Truthfully she hadn't really thought about getting one yet. Though since Lissy was out more and stuffs, she needed one then to call her. And now for calling Europa too!
"But we does have a phone at our apartment!" She nodded, "Do you have a cell phone?"
