Oh joy. Aluluei let out a growl of annoyance, the sound rumbling out from his chest. He'd been out patrolling the area around the Water Tribe and had made his way onto unfamiliar territory, just a little far from home. So what had he done, being quite the horrid navigator? He went and continued walking, getting himself even more lost. "Yep. I had the gut feeling that this would happen if I kept on with my patrolling today. But did you stop yourself from going further, Aluluei? No. You're a Lieutenant for god's sake, you should know better.." He had not a clue of where the hell he was. Alu' gave a bite at his bottom lip as he cast his gaze over the land around him, not catching anything particularly normal to him. 'I just want to go home and take a nap and have this put behind me already.' He thought to himself with a look up to the sky, taking in a breath with closed eyes before letting out a sigh. Without the Chief around, having to take on the responsibility of keeping things going was starting to take it's toll on him.

"No good just to keep on going without any sense of direction." The lion plopped his rump down onto the ground with a heavy thump, curling his tail around his four paws and letting the tuft at it's tip lay down near his front paws. Oh boy.. Getting back home would have been a hell of a lot easier with dad around.

Sa'chiel was a childish cub, and enjoyed walking the prides boundaries, but he wasn't afraid to step out of them every once in a while. Not that he'd ever tell his mother that! He didn't want to worry her, but he couldn't help but be curious about what was outside the pride. He didn't intend to leave permanently or anything, just...what if he found his father outside the pride? Wouldn't that be something? Sa'chiel didn't really crave to be near his father, but he was curious. What was he like? He hadn't dared asked his mother about him yet.

Walking out of the pride boundaries was the easy part and as he moved, Sa'chiel took note of the things he passed, making a path in his mind on how to get back. He would get in so much trouble if he got himself lost. As he walked, the young boy couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. The rest of the world looked similar to the pride. He wasn't sure what he had been expecting, but he had thought it would look more different then it was. What was so scary about being outside the pride if it was basically the same thing?

Huffing a little, he turned around, contemplating going back to the tribe. He could probably find his siblings to play with, or follow his mother around, she was always good fun. Behind him, he heard a twig snap. Freezing, he panicked. In reality, it was a bird in a tree which had stood on a twig that was too small for it's weight, but in Sa'chiel's mind, it was someone trying to eat him. Spinning back around, he narrowed his eyes, trying to disguise his shaking.
"Who's there?" He demanded, trying to sound big, but his voice came out sort of like a squeak.

"Who's there?" Was that directed at him? Someone voice other than his own had caught Aluluei's attention, and it sounded rather young. A cub? Or perhaps an attempt from someone outside of the pride to trick him into an ambush?.. It was probably a cub. But he couldn't always be so sure about these things. He'd trust his ears for now and seek out this other creature out in the area near. "Who's there?" He repeated as he sat back up, making his way around for a moment before he spotted a bright blue and brown form of whom he supposed was the one who had asked the question. Ah, so it was a cub! A little Cheetah, and he appeared to be quite the young one.

But hold on.. was this one of the cubs that had been born just a while ago? Did he know the parents of the little guy?.. Did he? Drat. From those he had seen so far, none of the members of the tribe had those particular shades of brown marking their body. Though, now that he thought about it... he did have a similar blue coloring that one of the females that had joined the tribe recently had as well. What was her name? He had heard mention of an Eun Mi from chatting? Oh, he was sure that it was something like that. With all this patrolling lately, he hadn't any time for talking with many of the others. Perhaps this was one of her cubs he had heard of from the grapevine. "Who's there? Why, just a lion that's gotten himself a smidge lost." Alu' had made his approach from behind Sa'chiel, walking over until a polite distance was between the two of them, a small smile put on his face.

"What would someone as young as yourself be doing out here? In search of some adventure away from home?"

When his 'who's there?' was repeated back at him in a much deeper, much older voice, Sa'chiel wondered if talking at all had been a good idea. He had given away his position and still didn't know if the other person was alone, friendly or even polite! Before he could blink, he could be dead. Idiot! He scolded himself, glancing around desperately. He looked behind him to Alu approaching, and spun around to face him. He placed his paws at a good distance apart, strengthening his stance in his paranoia, just in case he needed to run.

Lost? The male was lost? Huh. He didn't sound that threatening. In fact, he was smiling. Was he trying to lull him into some self of security or something. He looked familiar though. Had Sa'chiel seen him before...wait. He did look familiar. He must have been part of the pride! Sa'chiel hadn't interacted with many people beyond his family, but he had sure looked around before.

“Of course not!” He tried to bluster his way out of the males question. “I'm not some thrill seeker or something. I just...got lost!” It was a flash of brilliance, he decided, using the own males suggestion against him. The truth was, Sa'chiel wasn't lost at all. He would know the way back blind folded, not that he'd ever try.

“Wait. You're an adult. You're not meant to get lost!” He said suddenly, narrowing his eyes at the elder male. “Are you lying to me?”
