Candida gave a glance down at what she was working on, looking over the roughly cut form of a lion's face, the blank piece of bark just showing the outline of a male's mane and a small pair of ears atop it's head. She gave a smile at her pendant-in-the-making, taking a moment to inspect it on both sides before taking a claw and lightly digging it into what would be an eye. "You'll be quite the ferocious boy, hm?" The lioness said out loud, talking softly to herself as she started.

He was heading toward the forest, he knew he could go there and be left alone for a while. Just about anywhere else he went some one would find him and he didn't have the heart to ask them to go away. He lifted up his head as he started to trot in the direction of the forest.
He had been in the forest a few times before, between the lessons he was taking and even his mother leading him out there before. He knew his way around it. He jumped over a log laughing a bit as he did.But when he looked up he noticed something It was a white lioness, and she was doing something to the tree. Whatever it was it smelt good. However that wasn't the point, he came out here to get away from everyone else for a bit but then he of course ran into some one, but he couldn't just run away. "Hello there Candida." He said simply as he stood up straight making himself presentable as the Ceaser's son. He knew almost every pride member by name and he was proud of himself for it.

"Oh!" At hearing an unexpected greeting from Ceyx, Candida's claw dug deeper into the wood in her startled state, much more than she had originally intended to. Ignoring the bark, she turned herself to look at this mystery person. She would check on that art-in-progress in a moment, right now her attention would go to the one who had stumbled upon her just now, ever one to be rude... Oh indeed! It was one of the Caesar's boys. "Ah, hello, son of Maximus." Candida replied, a polite smile spreading over her muzzle at the younger lion, delighted to have a bit of company, despite how unexpected it was. Giving a sway of her tail as she turned to properly face him, 'Dida allowed the elongated tail tuft to rest over her paws.
She then took a moment to think to herself, racking her mind to figure out what his name was.. Was this Quintus? No, no, no. That must be one of his other brothers. Brutus?... Oh, wait! Ceyx was the lad's name~ "Now what might you be doing out here, so far from the others of the pride?" The lioness asked with a slight tilt of her head, causing the two small stone piercings in her ear to ring out a soft clink. "Taking advantage of this nice day while we have it?" She then noted how he held himself, upright and rather proper looking. 'Hm, hm~ He must take after Caesar Maximus a bit, seeming to be so proud.' He was quite the bit of royalty, now, wasn't he?

It wasn't always his choice to want to stand up straight and make himself look very presentable. He did it most of the time to make himself seem like he wasn't raised like a poor cub that didn't have direction in his life. He liked to make a impression on those around him. He really didn't feel close enough to any of the lions in the pride to completely relax and be himself around them. He only really acted like that around his family in the den. And as soon as he stepped foot out of it he sat up. He nodded the female in return to her greeting before sitting back on his haunches.
"I'm just thinking." He chuckled a bit before looking around. "My mother showed me around here before and I liked it." He grinned before nodding in agreement to what she was saying. "It is a beautiful day and it's a great time to get out and see the pride. He gave her a sweet smile. "I've really never seen you around the main dens before?" He chuckled the nudged her gently. "What's that you're doing?" He asked curiously, he had seen things like this before on trees and rocks he just really never met some one who did it. It was a odd thing to him but it interested him at the same time. He wasn't into the art part of the pride but at the same time he knew it didn't hurt to learn about it.
