I might be in trouble... gonk My baby horse is NOT getting hearts as fast as it should be. I'm doing what I'm supposed to do, brushing and talking to it each day, taking it outside on sunny days and putting it inside on rainy days. I might've missed a few days doing these things, but dang, it shouldn't have this much of an effect, should it? It's Summer 20 in my first year and the friggin' thing still only has 1 heart. >.>
From what I understand, if I don't get the bloody thing 5 hearts on it before the start of the next year, that senile old man will take him away from me! crying Then that means I won't be able to get two of the ten power berries or play in the horse races, and then I'll have to start the game all over agaaaain! *panic*
Am I doing something else wrong or will I be able to get it the 5 hearts before the year is up?

Don't worry, that lil' guy is usually quite stubborn. If you just keep doing what you're doing, he'll have his second heart before the year is out! 3nodding

Also, I need something clarified. Even if the old b*****d did take my horse away, wouldn't I get it back again from him the next year permanently? Please tell me this is true, or else this game has problems. >.>

Sorry, I read that wrong! sweatdrop But I don't think you have to worry about losing your horse. Even though I don't really remember, I'm pretty sure that my horse didn't have five hearts at the start of my second year, but I got to keep him anyway.
And it's true, if you get your horse taken from you, you'll get it back later.

Also, by the 21st of Summer I managed to get the horse up to 2 hearts, so maybe if I keep at the rate of never forgetting about him any more days, then I'll get him the five hearts by the end of the year. I hope. X_x; I don't wanna wait a year to get him back and then have to work to get his affection all the way back up again. That'd be just an utter pain in the a**. sweatdrop
