"Operation Hook Up Older Brother With Best Friend is go," Reiya said, looking to her sister. Samantha nodded and started dialing Elisabetta's phone number. The twins had been planning this for some time now, and had finally decided that they had waited long enough. "What movie should we make them see again?" Sure, they had planned far enough to know they had to get them together, but what would they do while here?
"Beauty and the Beast," Sammi told her, while waiting for her friend to pick up the phone. "It's only the most romantic Disney movie ever."
"Of course," Reiya said, easily agreeing. "I'll go get Vinny." She walked out of the room to go find their teenage brother. "Vincent! Lissy's coming over! Come make us popcorn!" She called, looking for him. Ah! Vincent was coming out of his room.
"Lissy's coming?" he asked, with the eagerness both his sisters had expected. "Can I hang out with you guys then?"
"Sure!" Vincent had fallen into their trap, as they had expected.

Elisabetta looked up from her video game and answered the phone. She hadn't expected the invitation, but she was thrilled none the less. Sammi and Reiya wanted to hang! How awesome was that?! "I'll be out late!" Lissy grabbed her house keys and shook them at Moose, who just waved over her shoulder as she picked the game back up.
The bike ride over to their house gave her time to think. What was Vinny going to think of her? She'd told the twins about her growth, but they hadn't seen her and she wasn't sure if they had said anything to Vinny about it. Lissy grinned, running her tongue over a fang. This could be fun~
After a while of pedaling in the evening dusk she pulled up to their house and dismounted, taking a minute to fix her skirt and slip her keys down her front. Fixing her hair in the bike mirror, she waltzed up to the door and gave a big knock.

Vincent opened the door, and stared for several seconds. This was Lissy? This beautiful creature was the little girl he had babysat and taken to see Santa Claus? He was so astonished that his mouth fell open for a moment, and gaped until he was able to stammer, "O-oh, you can come in." Unfortunately for him, his younger sisters had taken the time to turn on the cd player; Taylor Swift started to play--Love Story. A blush crossed his cheeks. No no no! This was all wrong! He was supposed to be dating Ebony--ugh.
"I'll show you to the living room," he said awkwardly. "Sammi and Reiya say we're going to be watching a movie." Oh, if only he had known what movie his sisters were planning on having them see. He would have ran into his room and hid. He took a deep breath. "You look really nice, by the way."

Lissy smiled and waved at Vincent, her longer tentacle copying the action. "Sup!" She chirped, bouncing up on her heels. Wow! He wasn't as tall anymore. Still, his staring made her nervous and she started picking at her skirt. Didn't he like her anymore? "Ya, sure~" The song took her by surprise. Her eyes widened, cheeks darkened and without missing a beat she coughed. "I'm just going to leave my shoes by the door, okay?" OMG, this was a set up!
She took a deep breath and pulled her hair behind her ears as she followed him. "A movie? What kind? I hope it isn't long. I get kinda bored easily." Her longer tentacle reached out to grab Vinny's tail, pausing at the bands before continuing it's inspection. "Oh! Thanks." Lissy smiled. "My shirt's kind of transparent in parts and I didn't want to look like a slut so I had it tailored. Hey- where are your sisters anyway?"

"Okay," Vinny said, waiting for her to take her shoes off. Hopefully it'd give him enough time to recover. Vincent led her to their couch in front of the tv. A bowl of popcorn was sitting on the coffee table in front of it. "Um, I think they want to watch a Disney movie, so it won't be that long." He paused, and glanced around around the room. "I wonder where they've gotten to..." Where were Sammi and Reiya?
"You'd never look like a slut," Vinny told her. Of course not. Half of hm was still thinking of her as the little girl he had babysat. He felt his face going red as his tail was inspected. He sat down on the couch. "Um. Looks like they've already put the movie in. Want to wait until they come back, or start the movie without them?" He silently wondered what movie his siblings had chosen. They were rather picky, and rarely got along unless they were plotting something.
He stood up and took the vhs out of the vcr. "Oh... Beauty and the Beast." Awkward. His sisters were trying to play match maker.

Elisabetta flipped a handful of popcorn into her mouth and curled her legs underneath her on the couch. The way she sat was the exact way J'her had the first time she'd seen her. "Whats Disney? Is it some time of trilogy?" She tilted her head to the side and reached for another bite. This white fluffy stuff was really good!
Turning around she looked over head and frowned. "I'm sure they'll be here soon." It wasn't like they were going to ditch them after inviting her, was it? Was it? Lissy mentally groaned. When she looked at Vinny she noticed the way her tentacle was playing with his tail and choked down her popcorn. "Oh, I'm so sorry! It's gotten worse since that stupid meeting." She pulled it away and held onto it, blushing crimson.
"I guess we could start it, if you want? I've never seen 'Beauty and the Beast', though. Is it good?"

Vincent stared at his friend. "You don't know Disney?" he asked, amazed. And he'd thought he'd been sheltered! "Well... It's really hard to explain. I guess you'll have to see once the movie starts. Disney's really known known for their cartoons..." He kept looking behind him to see if his sisters were coming. Nope. No sign that they were coming out. He'd known it all along.
"Um Lissy? I don't think they're going to be joining us after all... I think they're planning something." He looked at her, a blush crossing his cheek. "It seems my entire family's been trying to get me to date someone..." Another blush. "It's alright, I know what tentacles are like," he gave her a grin, before pressing play on the vcr remote. Previews for the Little Mermaid started to play.
"Is Lissy here yet?" Came Samantha's voice.

Lissy tilted her head to the side and frowned. "Should I?" Was this some kind of trend she was missing out on? "I've heard of cartoons, but I've never seen one. Their kind of like moving pictures, right?" Her tentacle wrapped itself around her knees as she moved into a different position to better see him.
"Hehe, no. I don't think they are." She shook her head and grabbed some more popcorn. She moaned, her toes curling on the couch. "I love this stuff! Mmm, wah? Oh! Families are just nosy like that, I guess. Not that I really know," she murmured the last part.
Omg, what was this? It was like an explosion of color assaulted her and all she could do was 'oooh' and 'ahh.' She didn't even hear Samantha.

"Well, I've never really met anyone who hasn't heard of Disney," Vincent told her, blinking. "You've never seen cartoons? Seriously? Your mom must be really strict or something." It reminded him of a character he'd read about in one of his sister's favorite books. Flower-in-the-Night had been a princess who hadn't been allowed to see any men except her own father. He took a handful of popcorn, and smiled at her.
"Your family isn't as nosey as mine, is it?" he asked. "They probably don't set up things for you... Mom doesn't. I think it's really a sibling thing rather than a parent thing." He leaned back onto the couch, paying more attention to her than he was the movie. He'd seen it countless times before, when he'd babysat his younger siblings.
Speaking of Vincent's younger siblings, they were watching from the hall. "Do you think it's working?" Sammi whispered in her twin's ear.
"It has to work. For both their sakes."

"Ya, I guess she was." Lissy smiled sadly and looked down at her hands. The comment was random, but enough to bring her down a few pegs. "She said it would rot my brain. Same with junk food, pop and video games." Come to think of it, she was just being exposed to it at the same time as Tally which meant that she was on the same level as the kid. Weird.
"My mom used to but in all the time, but my new guardian doesn't. She lets me keep my secrets." Lissy caught pieces of the movie, but she was more interested in what Vinny had to say. It was like he'd gotten cooler since she'd grown. "It's really nice, even if I have to share a room now and we live in an apartment."

Vincent noticed that Lissy was using past tense when speaking about her mother, but he decided not to ask about that. He didn't want to make her upset; it would be a horrible thing to see such a beautiful person upset. "I don't think cartoons rot brains," Vinny said. "Maybe some of them, but not Disney. I mean, it hasn't rotted mine, and I've been watching them since I was a toddler."
He silently decided not to ask her what had happened to her mother. Maybe they had had a fight or something, and Lissy had decided to move out? Whatever the cause, as long as Lissy was happy, it was alright with him. "Hey Lissy? If only to please my sisters, um..." a blush crossed his face, that clearly said it wouldn't be just to make his sisters happy, "would you um..." another blush. He was supposed to be good with people! What was going on? "Go on a date with me or something?"

The way Vinny said it so casually made her think that she was a sheltered kid. Just how much had she missed out? Maybe the Sun revolved around the Earth after all!
She giggled and held up a handful of popcorn, meaning to butt into his sentence. "Your sisters aren't...even...here..." Gradually her voice lowered as her gaw dropped. The popcorn fell to the wayside. Suddenly the room felt 20 degrees warmer. "A-a date? With me? Why would you- No, I don't mean- I just-" What was she saying?! "What I meant to say is, yes. Yes I will go on a date with you. To-to make Sammi and Reiya happy."
Elisabetta turned her head to the side, her cheeks crimson. Vincent was just a friend, wasn't he? Did friends usually go on dates? Or was he-? No, that'd just be creepy. He was like a big brother to her! .....Right?

For a moment, Vincent was afraid she'd reject him. Even if he was playing up the "Only for my sisters" line. He went red, and felt his face getting hot. "Yeah. We could go to a movie, or to the park or something." Vinny couldn't help blushing now. "Um... Well, where would you like to go?" he asked. Drat; how was he supposed to get out of this one? He hated lying to her, telling her that it was only his sisters' happiness that he cared about. He tried to ignore the whispers he could hear from the hall. His sisters were listening in on them.
Speaking of Vincent's sisters; Samantha highfived Reiya. "Mission accomplished!" she whispered. "It sounds like Vinny's only doing it to keep us happy though..." Lame. Maybe the mission hadn't been accomplished after all? They would have to start from scratch if it hadn't worked.
"Nah," Reiya assured her sister with a smile. "You know how Vinny is. He'd never admit it was his idea, really. We just helped."

Lissy's longer tentacle reared up like a prized cobra for some lovin. She stroked it as she thought. "A movie sounds nice." Her legs were vibrating on the couch as her foot tapped out a pattern. "We-we could- I mean, maybe- " She breighed like a horse and rolled her head back. Oh man, this wasn't supposed to be so difficult! Her heart was beating so hard she thought it might pop right out. Lissy took a deep breath to steady herself before sitting upright. "What kind of movies do you like? I mean, besides Disney?"

Vincent paused, he had to think about her question. His heart was beating faster than it did when he played tag with his siblings. "Uh... Well, I like most movies. I hear Lightening Theif is coming out soon in theaters, want to go see that? It's based on a book about greek gods and everything. It's really cool," he said with a smile. "It's made by the same guy who made the first Harry Potter too, so I'm sure it'll be true to the books."
That was good, he decided. He couldn't tell her that he would watch any movie, as long as he was with her. No, that was far too cheesy. He didn't want to look stupid in front of her. "Uh. But you can pick the movie next time," he offered with a smile. "I'm sure we'll agree."
