The Waterfall Lagoon 
The entire lagoon is surrounded by cliffs of razor sharp rock walls, making this arena a very good sparring grounds for other elemental usetrs, such as Earth, and carries enough space for wind jutsu to carry their full affect as well. The only element that truly suffers here is fire, though they are not so disadvantaged as to say that a fire user could not win here. as the battleground is mainly the water's surface, this is not a place for beginners to fight, as it requires a good amount of chakra control to even stand on the surface reliably, let alone fight on top of it as if it were solid ground.

 Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai walked out into the middle of the lagoon effortlessly, his feet glowing slightly on the bottom as his chakra kept him comfortably above the water's surface. His long years of training in the Mist, as well as his natural affinity for Suiton and his excellent chakra control allowed him walk on the water's surface without even a second though, and he could just as easily release or modulated his chakra to allow for movement into and out of the water's surface at will. Looking around, he didn't much fancy the site that was chosen for his battle, murmuring to himself about how there were too few shadows in the wide open arena.
Luckily for him however, clouds were present, which riddled the water's surface with darkened shadowy areas and would block out the sun from time to time. Not knowing truly what he was doing here, he had simply showed up, his Akatsuki robe hanging down to just above the water's surface, the top of which concealed the entire lower portion of his face under his nose. His wide brimmed hat hid the rest of his face, as he looked around, causing the small balls of his hat to jingle every now and then as he looked through the small exposed slit of his outfit to survey his surroundings. he was summoned to a competition with nothing more then the promise of a prize, but that was good enough for him at the moment...he had been so bored recently with the rest of Akatsuki still on their missions, that a battle would serve to divert him. the thought of the prize was almost trivial, though he did aim to win. "You can never know my pain..."

 l Sachoi “Cyclone” Hoshigaki l Kirigakure l Mizukage l Seven Swordsmen Leader l Sachoi smiled at Sai who had been waiting for him in the middle of the lagoon Sachoi had felt lucky to be surrounded by so much Water this would come to his advantage although this member of Akatsuki could have a few tricks up his sleeve in this battle.
Sachoi stepped into the lagoon and quickly dived under after finding a deep enough area he swam a good 20 feet away from Sai and then surfaced himself now refreshed and ready for battle he landed atop the water and grabbed the hilt of Samehada that was placed on his back he took a basic fighting stance and held his ground allowing Sai to make the first move he really didnt see this as a battle himself, more of a game really but then again everything was a game to this peculiar man and he couldnt wait to see what would happen as the game unfolded infront of his eyes.(( I was questioning if i should use my Genin with no jutsu or not, it was very tempting, but i really wanted this battle to last more then three posts so i held off on that :3 ))

After he went down about 20 ft, he could no longer easily track him, but he focused his chakra to detect objects beneath the water and he was able to more or less get an idea of where he was as and stood still as his actions were not yet hostile. As the man arrived and struck his pose, many things ran through his head as his calculations began to take place..."He's obviously well acquainted with the water...a Hoshigaki clan member...it will be his specialty. Better stay away from that sword too...I don't know if my blade could hold up to a weapon that large."
"Are you waiting for something?" Sai said with an emotionless tone as continued to stand perfectly still in front of his opponent, "...because we'll be here all day if you're waiting for me to make the first attack."
{{As you are using the Samehada, I think it is important that we establish something about my character. My bloodline (link) is somewhat unique, and my question is how would the sword regard my chakra. On the one hand, it is incredibly pure, but it is also so concentrated that it practically tears my body apart and causes me to feel agonizing pain 24/7. I figure we'd need to figure out how Samehada would react to absorbing this type of chakra. My inclination would be to say that he would react rather negatively to it, but I'd be interested in what you would think [it is after all, your sword]}} "You can never know my pain..."

l Sachoi “Cyclone” Hoshigaki l Kirigakure l Mizukage l Seven Swordsmen Leader l Sachoi gave a slight nod before speaking "I was never to fond of making the first move myself you see, but of course if you insist then I will begin" he gave a smile to the man showing his shark-like teeth and most likely confirming his thoughts of Sachoi being of the Hoshigaki bloodline.
Sachoi was quick with his hands so it would be hard for any normal shinobi to follow but Sachoi already realized this man was no normal shinobi him being in Akatsuki was proof enough of that, the handsigns were rather short and simplistic "Uo Tsuba" he spoke harshly as though he was very serious about this technique as he shot five small pellets of water in Sai's direction even if they were to make contact they would not even push him back slightly, just wet his clothes a tiny bit as they were all aimed for his chest after preforming the jutsu Sachoi smiled slightly before speaking "Alright friend, I made the first move now its up to you" if Sai was anything like Sachoi thought he was he would be utterly annoyed seeing that the Mizukage was toying with him although did Sai know of Sachoi's rank as Mizukage he really did not know another thing that may have already gotten on Sai's nerves is the Mizukages high pitched girl like voice which he had no control over.(( I agree with you Ooh, maybe it could have Samehada go berserk, since it has a mind of its own and all, it could attack me like it attacked in the manga O: of course it wouldnt take affect until maybe three hits just to be fair ))

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai watched as the man in front of him formed the basic hand seals of the lowest level technique that Suiton had to offer. as the water pellets shot from the Mizukage's mouth, Sai did not move an inch, his gaze still fixed on the man as each pellet splashed against his chest, doing nothing but making his robe slightly wet. Sai's stonewall expression would display nothing of his annoyance to this action, but it would probably be assumed simply by his lack of response in the first place. withdrawing his hand from the sleeve of his robe, Sai's hand disappeared under his robe only to reappear up in front of his face as he unlatched the top button of his outer robe, then followed suit with the remaining buttons as he slowly undid each one, staring forward at the smiling idiot the entire time.
Once his outer robe was removed, Sai tossed it aside onto the water, along with his hat as they began to float away on the current of the water. Sai reached behind him slowly as he withdrew his blade with his right hand, his face betraying no emotion as his muscles clenched and his body received a wave of pain. This wave was his body's way of trying to deter the exertion it would soon feel and avoid the imminent pain it would be placed through knowing that it was about to be subjected to chakra use, but Sai ignored it, though pained, he was well accustomed to, and partially numbed to it's affect. Sai held the blade out in front of him menacingly, holding the blade diagonally in front of him, but with no movement in his body, seemingly posing to instill fear and threaten the man. In reality however he was biding his time as a cloud passed overhead, creating a shadow over the two fighters.
In an instant, Sai was gone...his body practically becoming enveloped by the shadow as he disappeared and merged into it by the power of his blade. Anyone of Kage level might be able to know he was in the area, but would not be able to detect him, and not a single ripple on the water was made on his exit. Silence fell across the lagoon fro a period of about 10 seconds where nothing but the wind and falls could be heard until Sai suddenly appeared, behind the Kage, merging out of the shadows with his blade swinging at a downward slicing angle off his right side with incredible speed and precision. Sai had no illusion that this would finish the job however, and he was quite sure it would be blocked, which is why his left arm, now enveloped by chakra as he activated his bloodline muscle augmentation, was ready to deliver a devastating blow to Kage's back the instant his blade was blocked or parried. "You can never know my pain..."

l Sachoi “Cyclone” Hoshigaki l Kirigakure l Mizukage l Seven Swordsmen Leader l As Sai dissapeared Sachoi could sense him still in the area and as Sai's blade came swining down from behind him Sachoi thought this a bit dull and typical, everyone always goes for the blows from behind how cowardly. Sachoi turned his body in such a way that Sai's blade would simply hit Samehada which was placed on his back in a slanted angle he then turned his body slightly kicking Sai's other arm to devert the attack that was to follow although the attack would still make contact it went much lower then expected and since his body was turned and the kick was delivered from the right side of his body the attack would hit the front of his left leg, this caused Sachoi to fly into the water the attack being much stronger then expected and a crippling pain surged through him as he resurfaced wasting notime he shot three feet out of the water preforming a long chain of handsigns before recieting the incantation "Doiru Suiyari no Jutsu" as he finished the handsigns three spears made of water drilled through the water at Sai's feet surfacing in hopes it would make contact once the jutsu was recieted Sachoi's body was spinning in the air before landing on the surface of the water once again releasing Samehada the bandages tearing and floating away with the current of the falls he took a more complicated stance his pant leg ripped where the hit was given and the leg looking pained his hands were up as high as his face as Samehada was pointed down in a slanted position awaiting to see if his technique made contact.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai face was as expressionless as ever as he watched the Kage fly into the water after the diverted attack struck his leg. An arrogant grin slipped across his lips for a second as he reveled in the Kage's miscalculation in underestimating the intensity of the attack, as most everyone who had ever faced him had. Sai's grin was wiped clean as the Kage re-emerged in a blast however and his hand seals were completed, resulting in the drilling water spears erupting at his feet. Movign quickly, Sai was able to jump into a backwards flip, narrowly avoiding the spikes of two of the water spears, but caught a large slice across the side of his leg as the last spike nicked him. despite the wound however, Sai barely felt any pain, his body having numbed itself to the outside world long since before as a mechanism for coping with the unbridled pain his body felt daily.
As Sai was flipping backwards through the air, he began to form a few hand seals as his back was to the water, completing them in mid air as he spoke into the wind..."Fuuton: Boufuu Bakuhatsu Bunshin no Jutsu" As the incantation finished and the jutsu was completed and three wind clones appeared at his side, each one falling to the water's surface one after the other, righting themselves at the last second as they landed on the water's surface, each one immediately sprinting towards the Kage as they landed with blades drawn, two of them running out first before pivoting back in to flank the Kage from the left and right as the third charged towards the front, each one ready to slice the Kage when close enough to strike. As Sai landed, on the water's surface, he allowed his injured right leg to pass through the water slightly as his left foot struck the surface of the water as if it were solid ground. After allowing the water to absorb the force that would cause him unnecessary pain, he then removed his leg from the water and jumped back another 15 feet or so as he began to form a rather long and complex set of hand seals, which he would not finish before the Kage made his next attack, summoning a large amount of chakra into the technique to enhance it's effect. "You can never know my pain..."

l Sachoi “Cyclone” Hoshigaki l Kirigakure l Mizukage l Seven Swordsmen Leader l Sachoi realized he was indeed facing a formidable opponent as the clones charged him he caught a glimpse of the real Sai landing and preforming a long set of seals and knew that he must intercept this jutsu for it must be powerful he wove handsigns at a faster speed now to where Sai would have trouble reading them eventhough they were of his element he then quickly recieted the incantation before charging at the first clone idiotically "Fuuton: Kyoushu no Tosshin" with that he flew at the clone heading at him from the right slicing through him with Samehada only to be sent underwater from the force of the explosion although Sai would find this as his win Sachoi had still been toying with him since the begining intruiged by this next technique Sai would use he quickly rose from the water with burned clothes and flesh as he licked his visible jagged teeth awaiting the next two clones to come forth.

Upon its destruction, the wind that is used to create the being suddenly explodes outwards with great force. The results can be deadly, especially to those around the clone. There is virtually no way to tell the difference. The clone detonates with the force of three explosion tags, enough cause serious damage to anyone caught within the brunt of the blast without protection, requiring immediate medical attention. One clone may be made for every ten reserves of the user's.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninThe man had walked directly into his trap, with almost frightening ease from Sai's perspective, and it only fueled his arrogance further as he watched the Kage get blown under water by the head on blast of the exploding clone. Sai kept the grin back this time as he was far too focused on finishing his technique. Just as the Kage was rising to the surface of the water, Sai ended his series of hand seals by clapping his hands together in a final seal as he focused the chakra he had built up into the technique and announced the incantation with a slow, but foreboding tone..."Fuuton: Akki Boufuu"
Immediately, the wind around the area kicked up at high speed, the direction of the wind changing rapidly and erratically for a few seconds before a large crescent shaped blade of wind appeared behind Sai, instantly locking onto the Kage as it flung itself forward on a straight path towards him with incredible speed. As the blade shot forward it spun, the sound whirring through the air as if it were a large blunt object being flung towards the Kage with incredible force. If this hit, it would carry enough force behind it to break and shatter bones, and it wasn't the only one either, as more would come from random directions...7 in total with the amount of chakra Sai had used for the technique.
To anyone else, the chakra use would have already begun to weigh on him, but to Sai, this was nothing as he had not yet begun to even break a sweat, excepting of course the pain that any use of chakra gave him. In coordination with the attack, the other two images which were flanking the Kage original rerouted their attacks to come at him from behind, one from the left flank and the other from the right just as the first Demon Gale shot towards him. With his hand on his blade, Sai watched from the distance, and waited for an opportunity and an opening to present itself where he could land a devastating blow.
{{The roll I supplied will determine the emerging angles of the remaining 6 demon gales which will appear, lock on to the Kage and fly at him in a straight path just as the first one did, each one appearing just as the last one shoots forward (with the timing of about 3 seconds in between gales) I chose an 8 sided die to correspond to the 8 cardinal directions. 1 will signify that the blade appears from somewhere in front of the Kage... 2 will be from the front right... 3 from the right... 4 from the back right... 5 from behind... 6 back left... 7 from the left... 8 from the front left.}} "You can never know my pain..."
