Honestly I haven't played Oblivion all that much, but I can say that Morrowind is amazing. Graphics aren't great, especially the character models, but it's just so much fun to wander around, make a 100% Chameleon suit and wreak havoc, etc, etc...
What is with Bethseda a character models, anyways? The Khajiits in Oblivion always look REALLY SURPRISED TO SEE YOU! eek

ARENA!... I kid.
Morrowind. Just because I like loading up the traders with so much stuff that they can't move... then killing them.

XcoldhandsX Lol you would. Has anyone here ever actually played an Elder Scrolls game that was released before morrowind? No. I kinda want to, kinda dont. It's like fallout 3. It's a great game. However I fear it's predecessors may not be as good.

Methinks it depends on which one you played first. By todays standards the first two fallouts probably suck compared to the third one, but if you played the first two first (Why does that phrase make me cringe?) than you'll have enough memories of that style of gameplay and graphics to overlook those facts.

Well not necessarily, I can play Oblivion and have a ton of fun then go and play Diablo (the first one) and still have a ton of fun with both.

Morrowind was pretty awesome but It was so hard! DX I love Oblivion since I could actually go through without dying are getting lost plus the graphics were amazing and are still amazing.

Can't wait for Sykrim! So glad they'll finally update not just AI combat but the whole combat system as a whole! It was the only major flaw, in my opinion, in Morrowind and Oblivion. People tended to fight like they were half blind and on roller skates. Allies would run in front of me and eachother while hacking at the enemy and fighting was very basic in terms of actual combat.

Yes, I'm the minority. I loved Daggerfall and I play it along with Baldur's Gate and Fallout all the time. I AM THE RETROGAMER! FEAR ME!!
