Feathered Roost
High up in the mountain area is a large gathering of birds that roost there all year long and never leave for Winter. These birds are territorial and vicious to a point and are not above snacking on small guild Pokemon when the opportunity arises. Floors: 17 Pokemon: Pidgey, Spearow, Farfetch'd, Hoothoot, Noctowl, Natu, Murkrow, Starly, Starvia, Delibird...

Client: Persian Mission: "Stupid birds! Someone get me out of here!" Dungeon: Feathered Roost Floors: Client is in Floor 11 Rewards: Sunny Day TM + ???
Claimed~! xxxxxx Natalia xx &&& xx Alvis An Absol stood in front of the Bulletin Board, her eyes straining to read every word on every Mission. Jen had sent her out to find a mission for them to go on while she took care of the newborn Kecleon. Natalia was perfectly fine with this arrangement considering her current opinion towards children or in this case, this general kid. She tried to forget about life at home and focus on the reason why she was here. She was here to get a mission that they all could go on together. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to be catching Natalia’s attention. “Hey! What about this!” She said rather loudly to herself, and ripped a piece of paper off of the board. It was a Persian that needed their help. It was trapped in the Feathered Roost. Natalia tried to think about anything she had been told about the Feathered Roost but nothing came to mind. She could only assume that there were bird pokemon there. Some smiled brightly at the mission in her paw before dashing back to the West Wing to fetch her teammates.
---------------
The Absol approached the base of the mountain followed by a dark blue Kecleon. The two stared at the mountain for a moment a not a word was shared between them. It was just a slightly awkward silence. Finally it was broken by the leader of the group. “Here we are, Alvis.” said the Absol, flashing a grin at the newly hatched pokemon. “Your first mission!” It hadn’t been long since the Kecleon had been hatched in her and Jen’s room back at the West Wing. Jen cried with delight while Natalia simply tried to figure out the moves the Kecleon knew. Jen then claimed the right to name him before Natalia and chose the name Alvis. “Because he looks like an ‘Alvis’.” Was Jen’s reasoning for the name. Natalia would’ve gone for something not so old-fashioned, but agreed. “And your first Bulletin mission as well, Natalia.” Alvis responded flatly, staring at the mountain. Natalia glared at her new recruit. Unfortunately, mere moments after the “naming”, Alvis began to speak. He expressed barely any emotion with a large vocabulary and extra sarcasm. Unlike Jen, who praised Alvis, Natalia was slightly irked that this younger pokemon could back-talk to her. “You know for a newborn, you’re a real pain.” She growled and headed up the mountain with Alvis following close behind. He talked quite a bit, stating things he had read about the Feathered Roost and the enemies they may encounter. He also gave some information on their client. A Persian. Though some of it seemed a bit useful, Natalia was starting to get irritated with her new teammate. Right as she was about to spat at him, something swooped down at them. Whatever the creature was, it gave a loud squawk and aimed for Alvis. Before Natalia could jump to his rescue, he saved himself. Alvis leaped up landing on the creature’s back and swung his paw with a Shadow Claw. “You little brat!” The bird pokemon screeched and flipped in the air dropping Alvis to the ground. Before the Kecleon touched the rocky surface, the bird attacked with Fly. This sent Alvis back up into the air, but also activated his ability and he became a flying type. He once again landed on the bird’s back and hit it with a Fire Punch. The bird’s wings flamed, lighting up the side of the mountain and it tumbled to the ground. Alvis leaped off the creature back just before it continued its slide down the mountain side and landed upon the unsuspecting absol. “What the hell?!” She screamed at him as he hopped off her. She stumbled to her feet, digging her claws into the dirt so she wouldn’t slip down. She looked down to where the fiery light disappeared and then back to Alvis with equally blazing eyes. “What do you think you were doing?!” Alvis dusted himself off and stared at his leader with a glazed look. “I think I was stopping that Starvia from killing us.” He said matter-of-factly. “It attacked me. It was only logical that I strike it back.” Then he turned away and began clawing back up the mountain. Natalia began to grumble to herself as they continued their trek, cursing Jen’s fear of heights. If only she had “forgotten” to mention that they were going to a tall mountain, maybe then she would’ve at least had the Lapras here with her. If I spend any more time with this little brat, I swear, my head will explode. The air became a lot chillier as they got higher up the mountain. Every so often, Natalia would stop for moment to gaze down at the ground so far down below. Then Alvis would make some sort of flat insult about her being afraid of heights and Natalia would have to spat back at him. The next attack made both of them jump as a haunting cry emerged from behind them and snatched Natalia right off her feet. Natalia quickly turned her head up to recognize the bird as a Murkrow. “Some pokemon just choose the wrong place to trespass.” The bird pokemon sneered, as its laws tightened on Natalia’s pelt. “Here, we eliminate intruders like you!” Without a second thought, Natalia swiped her claw across the bird’s underbelly with a Slash. The murkrow cried out and released the absol, allowing her to fall to the rocky ground below. She braced herself for impact and gritted her teeth as her body hit the dirt and she tumbled down the mountain only to be halted by Alvis jumping in her way. “Some leader you are.” He yawned, looking up at the now furious Murkrow. “Surely by now, you could’ve taken that thing down.” He took a step forward to finish the bird off, but Natalia quickly scrambled to her feet and dashed ahead of him. As the two got closer, Natalia swung her head to release a Razor Wind to meet the Murkrow’s oncoming Shadow Ball. The Razor Wind sliced at the enemy’s feathers causing it to fall as the wind carried it off. Natalia leaped just in time to dodge most of the attack, but not enough for her tail. The Absol turned to her tail to give it a few licks before looking back at her partner. The Kecleon yawned once more and barely made eye contact with Natalia as he passed her to continue up. Natalia dug her claws into the ground as they continued only to keep her from attacking the boy. Soon two new opponents appeared. A Pidgey and a Farfetch’d. They came head on at them allowing the partners to easily pick their own target without an exchange of words. Natalia jumped onto the edge of a nearby cliff to dodge the Farfetch’d’s Fury Attack and then Razor Wind its way, carrying it off to the other side of the mountain. Alvis ran right at his opponent with a Fire Punch, giving the bird a new set of burnt feathers and sending it high into the air. The Pidgey came back down with a thump and lay unconscious in the dust, but the two had already climbed higher up the mountain by the time it had landed. Alvis was actually quiet for a while as he concentrated on locating their next attacker. “It seems we acquire more opponents as we continue up.” He mentioned shortly before the silence began. Natalia’s beautiful silence did last as long as wished into could’ve because two noisy Starlies appeared to stop the intruders. Their speed made it difficult for them to be hit because both Natalia and Alvis missed on the first turn. Alvis’ Starly attacked with Gust which activated his ability to change into a flying type. He then reused his Sucker Punch that he had missed the first time and sent the small bird sailing down the mountain. It was soon joined my Natalia’s opponent that she had taken down with Pursuit after missing three times. Her pelt was slightly ruffled from the many flying attacks she’d been hit by. Alvis actually chuckled upon sight of the Absol which made her all the more desperate to know exactly what she looked like. “I can barely see you face, your blue mane has grown twice its size.” He snickered as he began to turn back up the hill. “Though, I suppose it is an improvement.” “Oh. Well, that’s great!” She snarled at the Kecleon as she began flattening her fur back down. “I’m glad me being attacked can be of service to you!” She then leaped ahead of him and dashed up. She was determined to be the first to find their client. “Hey! Look out!” came Alvis’ cry. Natalia turned her head just in time to see a Starvia coming at her. She quickly raised her paw and sent a Slash across it face. The bird pokemon screeched and flew upward. Mere seconds later, it was spiraling down at her. Natalia jumped out of the way and the opponent drove itself head first into the ground. Not Natalia’s brightest foe. A little down the mountain, Alvis was finishing off a Starvia of his own with a Shadow Claw. The Starvia was thrown back against a rock and fainted. Alvis then gave a wound on his arm a little lick before catching up with Natalia. “Don’t say anything.” She snapped as he approached. She had been pretty sure that he was going to make some sort of comment about her the moment he got there. “I don’t want to hear about how I couldn’t sense it coming or any other crap like that.” “Or how you can’t see those Pidgies coming right at us?” He asked flatly, his eyes were set on something behind her. “Exa- What?” The absol now to a few seconds to focus on the loud squawks coming from behind, then looked. It was at that moment she was sent flying down the hill from a rather large Pidgey’s Tackle. Her claws kept her from slipping off the edge of a cliff and to her death. The Pidgey dived at her with another Tackle, but this time, Natalia was ready. She sent her claws flying at the opponent with Psycho Cut. The Pidgey screeched and flew back sending a Gust Natalia’s way. The Absol was carried toward the cliff once more, but she dug her claws into the rocky surface beneath her once more. She created a Razor Wind as she pulled herself back up. This attack served as the final blow making the pIdgey fall to the ground in defeat. Up the mountain, Alvis was dodging every move the annoyed Pidgey threw at him. Finally the Pidgey was able to use Quick Attack that hit Alvis clean in the face. Since Alvis was already a normal type, his ability didn’t take any affect when hit by this attack. Alvis skid across the ground beneath him, but jumped up as soon as his claws brought him to a stop. She attacked the Pidgey with his move Thief. With this attack that sent the Pidgey down he also was able to obtain an Oran Berry. “Lovely.” He said inspecting the berry. Then he tossed it into his mouth and chewed. Content came upon him as he felt some of his power return. Then he heard the loud grunts of an Absol coming up the mountain and decided he wouldn’t tell Natalia about the Oran Berry. She’s just become even pissier. “Want to help me?” Natalia growled over at the Kecleon who was just staring at her. “No. Being the 'big girl' that you are, I think you can manage.” He answered with a yawn. Then he turned back up the hill. Natalia cursed under her breath as she pulled herself up and dashed after her partner. Oh boy was he in trouble. But luckily for him a voice emerged from a cliff a bit above them. “Stupid bird! Get away!” That had to be their client! This voice was followed by another. “Intruder! I’ll destroy you!” “Somebody get their a** over here and help me!” Natalia leaped up and clawed herself up the ledge. When she arrived, her eyes laid on the biggest Natu she’d ever seen! Even bigger than its evolved form, Xatu. “Whoa.” Alvis’ voice said as he appeared on the ledge beside his leader. Despite his words, his expression was still blank. The Persian spotted them and cried out, “Hey! You there! Get me out of here!” Alvis was the first to make a move. With a blacken claws, he scratched the Psychic bird with a Shadow Claw. The Natu screeched and sent a Psybeam his way. The Kecleon wasn’t able to move in time and was caught in the beam. His head spun and it was obvious that he was now confused. He attempted to use Shadow Claw once more, but he fell to the ground in a dizzy heap. Natalia snapped out of her daze and sent a few Shadow Balls at the giant Natu. The bird sent a new Psybeam in her direction just as the Shadow Balls hit it. Natalia tried to dodge, but failed. Luckily, she didn’t get confused like Alvis and made Night Slash her next move. The Natu was thrown against the rock wall behind them, nearly hitting the Persian. Natalia leaped up to do another Night Slash, but the Natu rolled over and hit the Absol with a Wing Attack. Natalia fell to the rocky ground, but pushed herself back up. The Natu was weak. This’ll be the final blow! Natalia thought, her heart pounding. Her claws blackened as she prepared for a Night Slash when suddenly Alvis burst from the shadows and hit the Natu. He had used Shadow Sneak! The Natu’s screech died as it fell unconscious upon the ground. Natalia stared with a dropped jaw before looking to Alvis. “Hey! I was going to deliver the final attack!” She yelled, though it sounded more like a whine. “I snapped out of my confusion.” Alvis responded flatly, giving the fainted Natu a kick. “And Shadow Sneak always attacks first.” Natalia frowned. He just wanted the final attack for himself! She thought. She was convinced that this was the only logical explanation. Suddenly the Persian emerged from behind a rock and ran to them. “Finally! It is about time you guys got here! Now get me out of here!” The Absol glared at their client. The Persian was very demanding. “Alright! Alright!” Natalia finally said and pressed their Explorer Badge. With a little ‘Woosh’, all three were quickly teleported back to the guild.

Once they had returned to the guild, the Persian thought for a moment before asking if she could join the team.
Soon, a Pidgey and Murkrow also appeared, wishing to join.

xxxxxx Natalia xx &&& xx Alvis Alvis was busy gathering their rewards while Natalia looked over those who wished to be recruited. at her lips was a bottle of vodka she had packed, but never got the chance to drink on the mission. First was the Persian. Natalia looked over her for a minute as she beamed a cat-fitting smile at the Absol. "And we should let a pissy cat join our team because...?" The persian's smile grew wider. "The same reason they let an alcoholic lead an rescue team." She said in a voice so evilly sweet. Natalia raised an eyebrow and took a sip of her drink. "Ah, good point. You're in. Name?" "Charlette." The persian replied licking her paw. "With an 'E' not an 'O'." Natalia nodded and moved to the two bird pokemon. She glared at them. "You two tried to kill me and my partner." The pidgey cocked his head. "And...?" Natalia waved her bottle at them. "Why should I let two pokemon who tried to kill me and Alvis join our team?" The Murkrow shrugged. Natalia sighed before moving to take a sip of her drink. Then an idea came to mind. She pulled out two shot cups from her pouch and set them down in front of the bird pokemon. Then she filled both to the brim. "First one to faint doesn't join." She said with a grin and before the birds could protest, she called. "Go!" About eight shots later, the pidgey collapsed and lay there snoring. Natalia patted the dizzy Murkrow. "Congrats! What's your name?" The bird hiccuped. "Vi-Victor." "What the hell did you do to them?" Natalia turned to the flat and emotionless voice of Alvis. "I decided which one's will join. Let's go." Then as Charlette and Victor (wobbling) followed the Kecleon back to the West Wing, Natalia looked at the fainted Pidgey. "Can someone clean this guy up?" She called out. Then she chased after her group.

Client 1: Ursaring Client 2: Teddiursa Mission: "My child! My child is lost at that scary bird Pokemon place! Please go get him before something bad happens!" Dungeon: Feathered Roost Floors: Teddiursa is on Floor 15 Rewards: Sharp Beak + Fly TM
Kain and Kyo entered the dungeon still a bit fuzzy on the fact they had to find a lost child and get him out of here. ‘’Lets see it says he’s on floor 15 lets hurry.’’ he looked at Kyo who was frozen with fear then turned around seeing delibird behind him with a present. ‘’This is bad don’t take the gift kain!’’ he yelled but Kain wasn’t listening and took it anyway. ‘’Isn’t that nice?’’ he asked opening then box and two orbs of light surrounded him healing any injures he had. ‘’wow that was pretty lucky. Psychic!’’ he looked at Delibird and instantly a wave of energy hit him knocking him back a bit. ‘’Sorry but we don’t have time for this. Flame Wheel!’’ Kain jumped into the air and became engulfed in flames as he rolled hitting delibird in the head and knocking him out. They walked around the KO’d delibird and around the corner they found the stairs leading to the next floor. ‘’That was easy.’’ he said grabbing Kain’s hand and running to the stairs.
On the next floor the area was empty no pokemon where anywhere. They wandered around looking for the stairs then turned around seeing a Natu behind them. ‘’Lets go Ember!’’ he blew a fireball at the pokemon missing by about an inch or so, they stared down the pokemon and got ready to attack again. Kain studied his moves and saw he was preparing something. ‘’Get ready.’’ he watched the pokemon then it opened its wings and disappeared. ‘’It used teleport oh well we will probably see it again.’’ Kyo said then grabbed Kain’s hand again and continued walking looking for stairs for the next floor. After what felt like a million years they found it but it was guarded by a sleeping Noctowl and Hoothoot. ‘’Lets go but be quiet.’’ they slowly walked towards the stairs trying to avoid walking them up then Kain hit a pebble and it awoke the hoothoot who awoke Noctowl. ‘’Disturb our sleep and you shall pay. Peck!’’ he ran at them pecking wildly hitting Kyo a few times. ‘’Confusion!’’ Kyo looked the Noctowl in the eyes then it turned around and used its attack on Hoothoot KO’ing it instantly. ‘’don’t forget about me, Overheat!’’ his flame grew larger and Noctowl started sweating and a few burn marks appeared on his body. ‘’Magical leaf!’’ Kyo pointed at Noctowl and glowing leafs flew at Noctowl hitting it in the back and every other direction. The pokemon fell to the ground unconscious, they walked down the stairs onto the next floor.
Kyo Looked around and saw that the area was truly went so they walked carefully to the stairs watching for any pokemon that might be wandering around. After looking through the whole room they found the stairs with no one guarding it this time. They walked down the stairs in a hurry so they couldn’t be attacked. ‘’That was easy.’’ Kain said.
On the next floor they still found no one waiting for them or wandering instead they found a group of Spearows battling each other. They slowly walked really trying to avoid them but it was no use the Spearows saw them and chased them around the floor until they found the stairs. After they were gone the Spearow went back to their fight over god knows what. On the next floor they found the Natu they had fought before waiting for them. ‘’So we meet again I heard about your friend who was lost here ill help you but I want a battle with you two afterwards.’’ he said then grabbed their hands and they glowed. ‘’Teleport.’’ they disappeared randomly appearing on a floor in the dungeon. ‘’Until we find your friend ill stay with you guys.’’ he said looking at the two who were glowing with excitement. ‘’Ok so now you’re a temporary member of team Shinri-Hi.’’ he looked around then started walking seeing the stairs and another Delibird in the middle of their path. ‘’Lets end this quickly.’’ he walked up the delibird and took the box it was holding out. ‘’Why is it ticking?’’ Kain looked at the box then it exploded knocking him to the ground. ‘’You’re a dead man.’’ Kyo said then started laughing as Kain’s flame grew larger which scared the Delibird and made him run in terror. ‘’Flamethrower!’’ he blew a stream of flames at Delibird hitting its back and sent it into a wall, the pokemon fell backwards showing a black face with patches of its feathers missing. ‘’Lets go.’’ Kain picked up the Delibird’s bag and walked to the stairs. ‘’What are you gonna use that for?’’ he asked staring at the bag which seemed to have millions of those boxes in it.
The moment Kain came through the hole he was tackled by the Teddiursa they were supposed to find. ‘’Please help me I miss my mommy.’’ he cried holding onto Kain tightly then looked up and saw the expressionless Natu and started crying even worse. ‘’Its alright we came to take you home but could you wait with Kyo for a bit?’’ he asked pointing to his partner who was waiting against the wall. Teddiursa ran to Kyo and watched Kain and Natu wondering what they were going to do. ‘’Alright I promised a fight. Flame Wheel!’’ he jumped into the air then became engulfed in flames as he spun hitting the Xatu in the chest. The Xatu looked at him as if unsatisfied with the attack. ‘’Psychic!’’ He looked at Kain then a strong Telekinetic force hit him, Kain fell to the ground but still held his ground as the attack inflicted mass amounts of damage on him. ’’Flamethrower!’’ he hit Xatu with a stream of flames causing Xatu some damage. ‘’You are good but im better. Night Shade!’’ he created a mirage but stopped when he saw the box from the Delibird bag Kain had picked up, he looked at it then it exploded hitting him with a massive amount of flame damage. ‘’He fell for it looks like its time to end this! Flame Wheel!’’ he spun again hitting the surprised Xatu in the head and knocking him to the ground. ‘’Your really good kid I know when im beat.’’ he slowly stood up and disappeared. ‘’My god you did it that was the best battle I have ever seen but lets get Teddiursa back to his mother.’’ he took out their bag then they glowed and disappeared going back to the guild with Teddiursa.

Mission Failed! You lost 250 PD, an Oran Berry and an Apple.
Your mission was only 2.3 or so pages long, which isn't nearly long enough - it should be at least 7 pages.
In conclusion, try spending more time on missions. I know it's your first and you wanted to post it, but they do take time to write well. And the better written they are, the more likely mods are to give you bonuses.

Client: Surskit Mission: "GAAAHHHHOMMMMGGGGHEELLLPPPMEEETHHHEEBIIIRRDDSS!" Dungeon: Feathered Roost Floors: Last Floor Rewards: 300PD + Shiny Stone
Blaze walked up to the bulletin board, and saw a large number of Pellipers taking off with deliveries in different directions. He looked at the bulletin board, and out of the corner of his eye, saw Blade.
"Blade!" he called out. "Come look at this, here's a mission we could do."
The Scyther walked up to him, careful of the flames on his back.
"Feathered Roost? I dunno, I don't get along well with birds," he said a little nervously.
"Don't worry about it, you can fly just as well as any Pidgeot out there," the Cyndaquil said.
"Ok, I guess."
"Alright! Let's go!"
*Several hours later, at the Feathered Roost*
Blaze and Blade were at the Feathered Roost, looking up at it, and how immense it was. They felt rather insignificant, and also a little nervous about climbing it.
"Well, we might as well get started," Blade said.
"Right. Let's go," Blaze agreed.
With that, they headed up into the Feathered Roost. They walked up the slope, and almost immediately, they were attacked by a Pidgey.
"I got this one, Blade!" Blaze called.
He used ember on the Pidgey, and it flew at him, its beak growing white as it prepared to use peck. Blaze stood his ground until the last possible second, and it flew into the ground, and then stopped moving.
"I think I got it," Blaze said as he smiled.
"I think so," Blade agreed.
They continued walking, and they came to a fork in the path. They stopped, and looked down the left path, then the right, then the left again.
"Which way do we go?" Blade wondered aloud.
"Let's go left. It looks like it goes more upward," Blaze said.
With that, he started walking to the left, and Blade followed him, partly because he didn't want to get left behind with all the bird pokemon he could see flying overhead. They continued up the trail for a while, and they got to a spot that was covered by an overhanging rock. They stopped for a while to eat, and then got back up. However, when they stood up, they saw a Murkrow staring at them, and more specifically, their food.
"My turn," Blade said.
He flew up at the Murkrow, his blades glowing white as he prepared to use slash. The Murkrow flew at him, preparing to use peck, most likely hoping it could hit Blade before he could hit it. It was wrong. Blade dodged the Murkrow, and used slash on it from behind, then used fury swipes. The Murkrow fell, and Blade followed, coming down right next to Blaze.
"How'd I do?" he asked, with a grin that said he knew full well how well he had done.
Blaze grinned right back as he answered, "You did good, now let's keep going."
They started moving back up the mountain, and as they started getting higher, Blaze noticed that it was getting harder to keep his flame lit than it had been before. He pushed a little harder, and found that he could still keep it lit-it just took some effort. He decided it would be better to conserve his strength for whatever was keeping that Surskit on top of the mountain so he let his flame go out. They walked along a little farther, and two Spearows flew out of a tree, and started using Leer on Blaze and Blade. Blaze lit the flames on his back again, and started growling at the Spearows to counteract the Leer, and Blade started using swords dance. The Spearows seemed to realize that their leer wasn't going to do them much good, so they started flapping very hard, and the wind started to blow the two of them back-they were using whirlwind to try and knock them off the mountain! Blade was able to get into the air, and he flew straight for the bird pokemon. Blaze however, was not able to recover as easily. He managed to get himself behind a rock, but then was unable to do anything. If he came out, the wind would blow him away. This was up to Blade, at least until they stopped using whirlwind. Blade was hurtling towards them, and they seemed to realize he was oo powerful for their whirlwind to work, so they flew for him and their wings started to glow, as they prepared to use wing attack on him. Blade saw that, and managed to barely dodge, and he got away. Blaze came out from behind his rock, and used headbutt on one of the Spearows as it came down, its momentum too much for it to turn around. It fell to the ground and stopped moving. The other Spearow however, did not. It came for Blade again, this time using aerial ace. Blaze saw that, and knew he had to do something-that move never missed. He quickly used flamethrower, and it hit the Spearow, and he could tell it was burned, but it continued to fly straight for Blade. It hit him, and he fell down a ways before he caught himself, and he used quick attack right at the Spearow, scoring a direct hit. It fell to the ground, right next to the other one. Blade came back down and landed next to Blaze.
"Are you ok? Can you keep going?" They asked each other simultaneously.
They both laughed, and Blaze said, "Ok then, well we better keep moving if we want to save that Surskit."
They started walking up again, and as they climbed in altitude they noticed that there weren't as many birds as there had been lower down. They also noticed that it wasn't quite a** easy to breathe-the air was getting thinner. It wasn't quite as thin as they knew it would be when they reached the top, but it was still thinner than the air on the ground down below. They continued up, and they were very surprised at one point to see what looked like another rescue team below them, heading to the top of the mountain.
"You took the ad off of the message board, right Blaze?" Blade asked him, wondering if they were on the same mission.
Blaze didn't answer for a minute, wondering the same thing, before he answered that he had. He was confused, because he hadn’t seen any other missions on the message board that were located on the feathered roost. He motioned to Blade and that they should keep walking, and he sped up. Once they had gotten to where they could no longer see the other team.
“Look Blade, I don’t think they saw us, but I don’t want them to know we are here, or it may go into a battle, and I don’t want that,” he said as Blade nodded in agreement. He continued, “I think if we hurry up and get to the top of this mountain, we can get there first, they might just be here to climb the mountain, but they also might be here because they saw the mission that we saw as well.”
With that, they started to walk more quickly than they had been earlier. They got several dozen feet up in altitude, when they came to a dead end in the path. They looked at it for a couple minutes, hoping there was a path that just wasn’t very obvious, before conceding that there was not. It was a sheer cliff at least 30 feet straight up to the rest of the path.
“I can fly over it, but I don’t know if I can carry you that high,” Blade said, ruling out the obvious, and the easiest, solution.
“What if you flew over the cliff, and I used dig to get through it?” Blaze suggested.
Blade nodded, and said it just might work.
The rest of the post to come later.

       Zelos +++ Sheena +++ Kurogane +++ Jessica +++ Julian +++ Christian +++ Diep +++ Faith Team HTPNPrologue~
Standing in front of the Bulletin Board, Zelos's eyes wandered across it. While the littler ones stood there, watching Zelos decide what mission they'll be doing. Sheena, Jessica, and Kurogane where there too, just not there. The three of them were waiting outside of the guild, thinking that it's best if they didn't follow the littler ones to the entrance of wherever they were going. "I got the mission!" Zelos cheered as he pulled off the note. The mission was to save a Surskit on the last floor; apparently the bird pokemons didn't like her so much.
Entrance to Feathered Roost
As the group arrived at the location, they learned the reason why it was called the Feathered Roost. Feathers were everywhere in this area! All kinds of them, dull white feathers mixed along with shiny colorful feathers.
"So team, this is your mission. Good luck~" Zelos laughed as he started walking in the opposite direction.
"Wait what? Your not going with us?" Christian asked as he saw Zelos make his way back to the guild.
"I told you, you guys have to learn. I'm just here to answer your questions. Seeing that you guys were mostly silent on the way here, I assumed there was no questions." The Lanturn smiled cheerfully as he watched his son take charge of the team.
"What are we going to do?" Faith asked, looking at Diep then at Christian. "We're not that experienced to do this on our own. Plus none of us know an electric type moves to go through."
"We don't need electric type moves to make it through this place. Just trust me alright?" Christian smiled as he turned to his brother, who remained silent.
"Well I'm ready when you guys are..." Diep laughed as he started hopping towards the mouth of the mountains. "Better start now before something bad happens you know?"
"Alright guys, good luck! Just remember, we are always with you guys." Zelos cheered as he watched the team enter the mountain path up to the roost. Soon, the team were nothing but a smug from where Zelos stood.
"Are they gone?" A familiar voice whispered. Zelos nodded as the bushes started to rustle violently. Appearing out of the bushes were Sheena, Jessica, and Kurogane. They too were watching the little ones make their way through their first mission. "Please Arcetus, keep them safe..."
F1: 5.0 The Feathers...
"Ugh, this place is horrible!" Christian cried out as he floated ahead of the team, feathers getting caught in his mouth and string piece. "Blah!" The Chingling spitted out the feathers with great disgust.
"I'm so glad I don't have feathers like this..." Faith chirped as she hopped across the ground, trying to avoid the spots that looked like bird poop.
"I just remembered something..." Diep muttered as the team turned their attention towards him. "I'm an insect type...I'm weak against a bird type..."
"That's why you have us! We'll protect you, and plus your a Kakuna now. You know moves like Harden and Iron Defense..." Christian pointed out as he turned around and started moving forward.
In the back of the group was Julian, his head hung low, his spirits dropping more and more. His heart was broken from his mother, how sad was that? Then again he was a newborn. Just as Julian's eyes closed, he noticed something. All the feathers on the ground, they were wet. Looking up into the sky, there wasn't a single dark cloud anywhere to be seen. Did this mean something? Julian didn't know and he could care less, but his mind wondered back to the feathers as the team continued onward.
F2: 4.5 The Xatu Feather
Upon entering the next floor, the team discovered something. They were surrounded, not by living creatures, but statues. Statues of Xatus with their wings spread, aligned across the path. If the sun was any lower, the sun would seem like a gate. With the mountainous path leading upward and the statues along the path, this area could be labeled as mysterious or magical.
"What do you think their doing?" Faith asked as she stopped in front of one of the Xatu statues.
"Their probably preparing for something big..." Diep answered, not really knowing what he's saying. He had no evidence to back it up, but that was the first thing that came to mind.
"Maybe there was a ceremony and they all turned to stone." Christian joked as he raised himself up to one of the statues, looking face to face at it. There was something strange about them; it was as if the statues' eyes were moving.
"Don't mess with them..." Julian finally spoke as he made his way towards his twin brother and pulled him down. "Remember, we have a Surskit to save."
"Looks like Mr. Grumpy-pants is okay now." Christian laughed as he hugged his brother, but Julian pushed him away. "Fine then..."
"KA!" A voice shouted from ahead of them, a voice so loud and shrill that it made Faith fall over and roll down the path. Faith, picking herself up from the ground flew back up to the team to notice what was ahead of them. A Xatu.
"Travelers!" The Xatu cried out from the top of the pathway. "You have come to save somebody, but you will fail!" Predicting the future, that was Xatu's thing. "A bird of great power will stop you on the way, but a greater influence will save you. In the end, you four will fail this mission, but another will succeed." Along with the predictions, were riddles. Riddles also came along with confusion, which the team had many of.
"What are you saying?" Christian asked as he came closer to the Xatu, but as he came in wing's length of the Xatu, the Xatu smacked Christian back down to the ground.
"Christian!" Julian and the rest of the team shouted as they saw their teammate fall. "What the hell was that for?!"
"You will find out in due time..." The Xatu laughed as he flew away. That was the excuse that most psychics used to avoid problems or questions. Just say that and confuse the people they were predicting the future for.
"I'm okay..." Christian laughed as he slowly got himself off of the ground. "Come on now, we have another 15 floors to go before we get to Surskit..." Laughing just a bit, Christian moved forward with the team worried a bit about him. Little did he know, that when Xatu smacked him a feather landed into his string.
F3: 4.0 A Hoot of a Story
"So what do you think will be waiting for us at the last floor?" Julian asked as he looked at his teammates, growling just a bit from what happened to his twin.
"Probably a huge bird pokemon ready to kick the crap out of us..." Christian calmly said, which lead the team to an awkward silence. "What?" Christan chuckled as he turned around to face his team. "You know as well as I do, we're probably going to have to fight a stronger pokemon then all of us combine to save the Surskit...it always happens."
"Hoot! Would you settle for me? Hoot!" A voice shouted from behind Christian. The team turned they're attention from Christian to the strange new pokemon who's figure remain hidden in the shadows. "I wanna battle! Hoot!"
"Alright..." Diep jumped forward carefully, trying to figure out what the pokemon is. Faith flying over Diep, squinted her eyes to try to figure it out.
"It looks like a...I have no idea. It's round and looks like it's standing on one leg..." Faith sighed confusedly as she landed onto the ground next to Diep.
"I know what to do!" Christian laughed as he rose higher into the air. "SWIFT!" Christian flung a Swift attack at the strange pokemon.
"Whirlwind!" The pokemon shouted out, jumping towards the shooting stars. Spinning violently, he redirected the Swift attack onto the ground. Upon landing, he revealed his identity. "I am a Hoothoot! You will not know my name until I deem you worthy!" The Hoothoot shouted, trying to seem more buff then he was.
"String shot!" Diep shouted, shooting the Hoothoot with an unexpected string shot attack. Binding the pokemon onto the ground in a bunch of sticky webs.
"Hey! No far!" The Hoothoot shouted, struggling to get out of the webs.
"All's far in love and war." Diep laughed a bit, jumping pass the Hoothoot. Faith following behind him, smiling at the Hoothoot.
"Hey, we didn't even actually have to battle." Faith smiled, seeing that she didn't have to fight or anything. Which was the complete opposite of what Julian was feeling.
"Diep! Why'd you do that for? I was ready to fight!" Julian cried out as he rushed towards the Kakuna and picked him up with both hands.
"If we stayed and fight, we would've end up wasting more time. We have to get to Surskit before something bad happens to her. Remember? Christian also said that most likely a strong pokemon will be there, and I'm actually hoping that it's that Xatu we ran into earlier..."
With that said, Julian let Diep down. Realizing that Diep was actually being smart, in a way.
"Sorry Mr. Hoothoot, but we'll be leaving you now. Have a good night!" Christian smiled as he used Hypnosis on the Hoothoot. Luckily for Christian, the Hoothoot didn't have the insomnia ability that prevented it from going to sleep.
"I'll...get...you...zzzzzzz" The Hoothoot muttered as he fell fast asleep.
"Dream Eater!" Christian whispered as he ate the Hoothoot's dreams, healing himself from the previous "battle." "Pleasant dreams..." The Chingling laughed as he floated away from the Hoothoot.
F4: 3.5 Victory through sleep?
"Hey Christian?" Faith asked as the team continued traveling through the Feathered Roost.
"What?" The Chingling replied, not even looking back to give her eye to eye contact. He was focusing on the path ahead of them to make sure nothing was going to happen.
"Why did you use Dream Eater?" Faith wondered curiously, flying closer towards Christian. "I mean, he was already asleep and stuck to the ground. Did you really have to go as far as damaging him too?"
"Well I had too. Dream Eater heals me and damages him, and you don't really see most Hoothoots without the Insomnia ability..." Christian explained. "Besides, that Hoothoot would be up soon enough..." Though chances are, he already fainted. That battle was won without even using a lot of offensive moves.
"But he was already down! You shouldn't attack anyone that's already down..." Faith outbursted, trying to understand why Christian attacked him. "I know that I haven't been out of the nest for a long time, but you shouldn't attack anyone that can't attack back...that's just cowardly..."
"Eh...I guess." Christian merely replied as he looked back to Julian. "Better safe then sorry if you ask me..."
"Strange, I'd expect that kind of behavior out of me..." Julian laughed as he looked at Diep, who laughed back at him.
F5: 3.0 Starly Swarm Pt.1
As the team entered the next floor, something seem strange. Everything was quiet...a bit too quiet. There was no sound other than the wind that was trying to blow the team back.
"Ah!" Faith shouted as she lost the fight against the wind. The wind blowing violently was trying to push everyone back, and Faith was the first.
"FAITH!" Diep shouted, turning around as quickly as he could, while planted to the ground. "STRING SHOT!" Diep shot a fast moving string shot at Faith, grabbing a hold of her before she got too far. "Hold on!"
"Thank you..." Faith chirped as she felt the webs wrap around her, keeping her safe from the wind's harsh blows.
"This is so strange!" Christian shouted, but the wind's howl made Christian's voice unheard by Julian who was struggling right besides him. "The wind wasn't this strong on the lower floor!"
"What?!" Julian shouted as he felt the wind rushing past him. How much more can his body take? Pretty soon, he knew that he was going to get blown away.
"WHAT?!" Christian repeated, trying to listen to what Julian was saying, but his words were inaudible. Looking back, he saw Diep holding onto Faith with a string shot. Faith on the other hand flying against the wind, but she was flying in place. "I JUST GOT AN IDEA!"
"WHAT?!" Julian replied, still having trouble hearing. Looking at Christian's eyes, Christian looked back to Diep, then at Faith. "Okay!" Julian shouted, raising a thumbs up.
With those words said, the two slid back towards Diep and held onto him. Julian, using his hands pointed at Faith then upward. Diep, assuming what Julian pointed out, followed orders. Raising the string shot, Faith's body flew above the harsh winds and she soared.
"What's going on?!" Faith shouted down to the ground, but the wind's howls made her voice like a faint echo. "What is that...?" Faith asked as she flew forward, dragging Diep's body across the ground with Julian and Christian attached to him.
"O crap..." Faith muttered as she finally figured out what she saw earlier. It was a flock of Starlies using gust across the pathway. But why, why are they trying to stop them from moving onward. "They won't hear me from here...so I guess I have to hand this myself..." Faith muttered as she flew harder then she ever could, the string shot still attached to her foot. "Alright, here goes nothing! FEATHER DANCE!" Faith shouted as she shot a bunch of feathers across the sky at the Starlies. Useless, the feathers got caught up in the gust and flew down the path. "Ah!" Faith shouted as she felt Diep lose it to the wind, but it was strange. Diep, Julian, and Christian flew in a circle! The wind picked them up and threw them downward, but with the string shot, the three of them went over Faith's body and was thrown at the Starlies, dragging Faith behind them this time.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The four of them shouted as the crashed into the ground behind the flock of starlies. "RUN AWAY!" The four of them shouted after the screams, running down onto the next floor knowing that the Starlies are after them now.
F6: 2.5 Starly Swarm Pt. 2
Rushing through to the next floor, the team found themselves surround, literally. The team has entered some sort of Starly Nest, because all they could see for miles and miles were nothing but more and more starlies. The team, back to back now against who knows how many Starlies, were ready to fight...in a way.
"I can't believe it's going to end like this!" Faith panicked as she saw the Starlies flapping their wings slowly, their eyes fixated on them.
"It's not going to end like this..." Diep lied, knowing that he would probably be the first one gone. "We're going to survive this..."
"Quit it with that wuss talk! All we can do now is get ready to strike back. When you see a Starly come after you, strike back. Simple as that." Julian growled, readying his claws for a fight.
"Don't you find it strange how they're not attacking us yet?" Christian asked his teammates, who started to wonder the same thing. "I mean if they wanted to attack us, they would've done it by now...but look. They're just staring at us as if they were waiting for something..."
"Let me be the judge of that! EMBER!" Julian shouted.
"No don't!" But Christian was too late to act. Julian released a frenzy of ember at the Starlies. The Starlies, for some strange reason didn't do anything. They stood there and took the hit head on, without even trying to avoid it. "That's strange..."
"Stop attacking my people!" A monstrous voice shouted from above; landing into the gap between the team and the Starlies. "I am Garuda, Protector of the Starlies and our territory!" The Staravia shouted, pounding her feet into the ground. Her eyes, fixated on Julian. "NOW FACE MY WRATH!" The Staravia shouted, thrusting herself off of the ground, her beak pointed towards Julian. "Aerial Ace!"
"Fire Spin!" Julian countered, rushing towards Garuda spinning in flames.
"Come on, we gotta help!" Christian shouted as he saw the two go at it. His attention wasn't at Garuda, but at the Starlies who looked like they were about ready to strike. "Uproar!"
"String Shot!" Diep shouted, knowing that he didn't have that many offensive attacks, but getting Starlies stuck onto the ground was just as good.
"Dragon Pulse!" Faith shouted, firing a strange pulse from her mouth towards the Starlies.
At the end of those three attacks, three Starlies came forward, each prepared to fight for their people. The injured Starlies from the three attacks were soon covered up by healthy, strong Starlies. Now it was a 1 on 1 battle...
F7 - F9: 1.0 The Starly Battles
Christian stood there, biting his lower lips as the Starly circled him. He didn't know what to do, circle the Starly or just stand there and watch. Obviously, he was doing the second choice without knowing.
"Aerial Ace!" The Starly shouted disappearing into thin air and reappearing above of Christian before he had time to react. Slamming his beak down on Christian, the Starly bounced off and landed on it's feet.
"Ah!" Christian shouted as he fell flat onto the ground. "Recover!" Christian's body started to glow as he healed himself from the Aerial Ace. "My turn! Future Sight!"
The Starly braced itself for an attack, but after a few seconds nothing happened. "Ha! It didn't work!" The Starly laughed as he used agility, circling Christian. "Quick Attack!"
"Uproar!" Christian countered, shouting loudly as he could before the Starly struck him. But as soon as the Starly bounced off of the Uproar, the Future Sight kicked in. A strange psychic force came and knocked the Starly out by throwing it across the ground. "Never underestimate an attack!" Christian laughed as he turned over to see that this battle was far from over.
---------------------------------
Diep planted himself onto the ground as the Starly kept striking him over and over again with an Aerial Ace. "I don't understand?! Kurogane said in this form I'll be stronger, but I feel weaker!" Closing his eyes embracing the next attack.
"What's the matter?!" The Starly chuckled as he flew in for another attack. "Too chicken to strike?!" He was taunting Diep to attack him, but he was too quick for Diep to do anything about it. "Quick Attack!" The Starly shouted, slamming it's body into Diep's. Diep's body was thrown across the ground, laying right there and he couldn't move.
"Come on!" Diep shouted, trying to remember what Kurogane taught him. Soon he realized something, Kurogane taught him nothing. He just said that Diep had to get stronger and to become stronger he had to become a Kakuna. But Kakunas can't do anything but just lay there until they evolve into Beedrills.
"What's the matter?" The Starly laughed landing next to Diep; the Starly started kicking Diep. "I thought you were stronger then this."
"Shut your trap!" Diep shouted, jumping at the Starly but falling back onto the ground.
"I actually thought this was going to be a lot more fun...but I guess I have to end it now." Picking up Diep, the Starly started flying high into the sky. Throwing Diep higher than himself, he prepared for his best move. "BRAVE BIRD!"
"O crap! I have to do something before I get knocked out!" Diep panicked as he tried to remember some moves that Kakuna learns to protect itself from opponents, but his brain was fried. His eyes caught contact with the Starly's and he knew this was it. "IRON DEFENSE!" Diep shouted at the last moment. His skin started to turn silver as the Starly shot into it. Falling faster than ever because Diep's armor was now iron, he dropped like a rock. Whereas the Starly, his beak broke! Now crying about it, the Starly flew away in shame. A bird is not a bird without it's beak. "Ouch that hurt..." Diep moaned as he found himself in a hole in the ground in the shape of his body.
---------------------------------------
Faith and her Starly foe were neck to neck; each trying to peck one another. Sadly, each of them avoided every attempt of a peck attack.
"This is getting us nowhere!" The Starly shouted, pecking at Faith who smoothly avoided the strike.
"You telling me!" Faith shouted as she found it a perfect chance to strike. The Starly was probably expecting another peck attack. "Dragon Pulse!" Faith shouted opening her beak to release the move. The Pulse threw the Starly across the ground, but she landed on her feet.
"That was cheap!" The Starly shouted, readying herself for a new move. "Agility!" She shouted, circling Faith in a single man army of a fast moving Starly. "Aerial Ace!"
Unaware of where the Starly was now, Faith was struck on her back. "Ah!" Faith shouted as she fell over from the strike.
"Serves you right!" The Starly laughed as she flew up into the sky. "If your brave enough, I'll see you up here!" The Starly took flight as Faith chased after her.
"Your not getting away that easily!" Faith shouted, trying to think about what Jessica said. Everyone had a weak point, so where was Starly's? "FURY ATTACK!" If there was anyway to find it, Faith had to hit it. Rapidly throwing her beak at the Starly, most of the strikes struck the Starly's wings.
"Double Team!" The Starly shouted in panic, multiplying herself into a flock of Starlies. "Good luck finding me now!" The Starly laughed as the flock flew up into the sky and flipped back towards Faith.
"Safeguard! Mist!" Faith shouted as she protected herself from the incoming strike.
"Quick Attack!" All at once, all of the Starlies came down to strike, but as they came she only felt a single strike. That was when Faith realized that when a pokemon used Double Team, the rest of them are just illusions.
"I know your here!" Faith shouted as she started raising higher into the air. "I know where you are now..." She chirped as she tried to bluff her way to victory.
"O yeah?!" The Starly responded rushing towards her. "Aerial Ace!"
"Gotcha~" Faith chuckled as she looked down at the incoming Starlies. The only problem with Double Team was that the other ones didn't produce a Shadow. Them being so high up in the air, away from any objects that could block a shadow, made it easier for Faith to find the shadow. "DRAGON PULSE!" Faith shouted as the Starly came almost an inch away from the strike. Starly was blown out of the air by the Dragon Pulse and fell to the ground like a rock. "Looks like I win..." Faith cheered as she descended down to the ground after the Starly.
------------------------------
The Final Battle...Julian vs. Garuda, the Staravia...
"Fire Spin!" Julian proceeded once again as Garuda came in with a strong Aerial Ace. The two strikes collided into one another, but both ended up only damaging themselves. "Give up! You can't defeat me!" Julian shouted, panting a bit from exhaustion.
"Ha, says you!" Garuda chuckled as she stood strong, her breath still calm compared to Julian's. "See, you almost out of breathe..."
"Dragon Dance!" Julian shouted as he started to move about. Within seconds, he felt stronger and faster. Tightening his fist, he readied for another attack. "Slash!" The Charmander shouted, jumping into the air and sliding his claws down Garuda's body.
"Miss~" Garuda chirped as she jumped away last minute. "Quick Attack!" Countering the Slash, Garuda slammed her body into Julian and sent him flying across the ground. "Mud Slap!" Garuda turned her body around and started kicking mud at Julian.
"Ah!" Julian screamed as he felt the mud adding onto his body until he was completely covered by it. "I won't let you win..." Julian shouted before he was completely covered by mud.
"Ha, you can't even find your way through the mud! How do you expect to defeat me?!" Garuda laughed as she spread her wings. There was no response for a while now, giving Garuda the impression that she won the battle. "See, easy...I won."
"No you didn't!" A muffled voice shouted from the inside of the mud. If you looked carefully, you could see the mud was glowing with a flame. "Fire Spin!" The voice screamed as the redness in the mud started to get more and more violent. Soon, the mud couldn't hold on much longer and it exploded! Mud shards scattered across the field, smoke rising from Julian's body. "Smokescreen!"
Within seconds, the area was consumed with a dark smoke. Leaving everything inside of the smoke, blind. "Where are you?! Quit being such a coward!" Garuda shouted as she started flapping her wings to clear up the smoke.
"I'm right behind you..." Julian whispered into her ear. "Fire Fang!" Julian bit into Garuda's wing and flames erupted from his teeth. Spreading across Garuda's wing, her body soon was consumed by blames.
"Ah!" Garuda shouted flapping her wings violently to get the flames off of her. "You will pay for this!" She shouted, glaring at Julian.
"FLAME THROWER!" The Charmander shouted, jumping into the air. A spiral of flames shot out of Julian's mouth and collided into Garuda. Within seconds, all you could see was black ashes in a circle where Garuda was hit.
"Don't underestimate me..." Garuda coughed, picking herself up from the ground. The black ash on the back of her body while the front was still clean. "Brave Bird!" Garuda shouted leaping at Julian at hyper speed.
"Fire Sp-" It was too late to counter it. Garuda got to Julian before he could use the attack and threw him up into the air.
"Aerial Ace!" Garuda shouted, jumping from right beneath Julian upward towards him. "YOU WILL PAY FOR TRESPASSING ONTO MY TERRITORY!"
"Dragon Rush!" Julian shouted, falling down even faster then ever. Slamming into the Aerial Ace, the both of them crashed into the ground. A huge dust cloud filled the air on impact, leaving all the Starlies who watched on the edge of their seats. Who won?
As the smoke cleared, Julian and Garuda were standing across from each other, both looking exhausted. "Give it up..." Garuda moaned as she fell onto the ground. As soon as Garuda fell, Julian collapsed after her.
"I did you proud..." Julian smiled as the thought of his mother came into his mind, but he shook his head violently. "Christian...Diep...Faith..." He muttered as he fell to sleep.
F10: 0.5 Recovery~
As Julian awoke from his sleep, all he could see was Christian, Diep, and Faith standing over him, smiling for some reason. "What happened?" Julian moaned as he sat himself up from the ground, his body still aching from the battle with Garuda.
"You won man..." Christian cheered as he pulled out half of a big apple. Julian looked around to see everyone had a piece in their hands, ready to eat. "And we didn't want to eat without you..."
"Thanks..." Julian laughed as he bit into his slice. The taste, it was delicious! Well then again, you would be hungry if you traveled for how many floors and then battled. If he didn't find anything to eat sooner, he would've ate a Starly from the last floor.
- 2 Big Apples ; + 3 Belly Slots
F11: 3.0 Xatu's Feather
As Christian entered the next floor, something he started to feel strange. He felt like someone was watching them, something was following them from behind. But everytime Christian turned around, all he saw was his teammates. It would be hard to miss someone in this area, it's a mountainous path! You must be blind if you don't see someone following you.
"What's wrong?" Faith asked, nudging Christian to wake up from his daze. "You keep looking back as if you were expecting something to happen..."
"Nothing's wrong...I just can't help but feel like we're being followed..." Christian told the team, causing all of them to look back. They all looked back to Christian, just a bit confused.
"Anyway, you guys did you notice the water trail?" Julian pointed out looking at the ground. A thin stream of water was leaking down the mountain path towards the last floor. "I think Surskit is still alive, but we need to get to her quickly..."
"Yeah...we should." Christian said softly as the team rushed ahead of him. He stood there, looking at his team for a moment, then looked back. He knew something was following them, but if not by land then air? He was about to look up into the sky when the team called for him. "Yeah I'm coming!" He shouted chasing after them.
"Ha...he's smarter then I thought he would be..." A Xatu laughed soaring after the team. Keeping his distance far enough for him to be just a tiny spec, hiding in the clouds.
F12: 2.5 The Ice Trail
As the team entered the next floor, something seemed different. Not just a slight change, but a huge change! Everything on this floor was submerged in ice; and the ice doesn't end there. The ice traveled up across the side of the mountain and blocked the path.
"Hold on I got this!" Julian laughed cockily, shoving his way across to the front. "FLAMETHROWER!" The Charmander spewed a tremendous flamethrower that went from one side of the ice, to the other. Creating a small tunnel way for the team to enter through. "Viola~" Julian laughed as he jumped into the ice tunnel, the rest of the team following right behind him.
F12: 2.0 PRESENTS!
"So tell me, what do you want for Christmas?" A Delibird cheered as he sat on a strange throne made out of ice. "Tell me." The pokemon laughed as a Pidgey stood in front of him, her whole body shaking.
"I don't know..." She said softly, backing up slowly.
"You don't know? Well then I know! Present!" The Delibird shouted throwing a shiny orb out of his sack.
"Ah!" The Pidgey shouted, trying to get out of the way but it was too late. The "Present" exploded in front of her, encasing her in ice.
"Aw, someone was naughty this year." Delibird laughed kicking the frozen Pidgey to the side with the rest of the frozen pokemons.
"String Shot!" A fast moving string shot came down to the ground, but the Delibird avoided it just in time by sliding across the ice.
"Looks like someone else is trying to join the Naughty List~" The Delibird laughed happily as he up into the sky to see Diep and Faith. "Aurora Bea-"
"Dragon Rush!" Julian shouted, sliding across the ice with the force of Dragon Rush by his side. Slamming his body into the Delibird, he sent the pokemon crashing into the throne.
"Aw...I spent all week working on this!" The Delibird complained as he stood up in the reminds of his throne. "Why are you doing this to me?"
"Why are you freezing all these innocent pokemons?!" Christian shouted, appearing out of nowhere. Coming closer towards the frozen pokemon, he could hear the muffled cries of the Pidgeys and Spearows.
"Innocent? No. No. No. They are not innocent, they were on the naughty list, that is why they became frozen!" The Delibird laughed as he reached into the bag. "Present!"
"Watch out! Ember!" Julian shouted as he shot the glowing orb that was coming at Christian.
"String Shot!" Diep shouted, trying again to strike the Delibird.
"Nope! Miss~" The Delibird laughed as he slide across the ice like a figure skater. "Aurora Beam!"
"Safeguard! Mist!" Faith shouted right before the two of them got hit by the Aurora Beam. From the impact of the strike, Faith's wings felt heavy but they weren't frozen. Falling down onto the ice, Diep used Iron Defense and stuck into the ice bottom first. The ice cracked, leaving the two perfectly safe...for the meanwhile.
"Aw, isn't that sweet? Present!" The Delibird shouted, throwing a glowing orb at Diep and Faith. Faith managed to get away from the explosion, but Diep was a bit less unfortunate. He couldn't move from the fall! His bottom was stuck into the ground underneath the ice and now his whole body is frozen.
"Diep!" Faith shouted, rushing back towards the ice.
"Aw, does someone want to join him?" The Delibird laughed as he threw another present at Faith.
"Dragon Pulse!" Faith cried as the present came closer and closer towards her. With that, the Dragon Pulse kicked in and threw the Present back into the sky where it exploded on it's own.
"Your no fun." The Delibird laughed as he turned towards Julian and Christian, who were helping to free the frozen prisoners. "Hey! They were naughty, looks like you two are going to join them! Ice Punch!" Delibird shouted, sliding across the ice towards Julian with his fist aimed at his mouth.
"Fire Fang!" Julian countered, biting into the incoming fist. All at once, a strange hissing sound came from the two attacks. No explosions, just a strange hissing noise. "Ha! We are evenly matched!" Julian muttered, his fangs still biting on the Delibird's mouth.
"Future Sight!" Christian shouted out as he rose above Julian. "Naughty my butt! Swift!" Christian shouted, shooting stars at the Delibird causing him to let go.
"That is not very nice~" The Delibird laughed as he jumped into the air. "Rapid Spin! Ice Shard!" With haste, the Delibird spun violently as ice shards shot out of the spin.
"Fire Spin!" Julian shouted, trying to counter the Ice Shard attack. But as he drew closer, the Rapid Spin kicked him out of the sky. "Ah!"
"Present!" The Delibird laughed as he threw a glowing orb at Julian, but when the present exploded Julian didn't get encased in ice. He was healed. "No, this can't be! Your naughty!" The Delibird cried as he continued to throw presents at Julian. The orbs fell to the ground and lost their glow as the Delibird started to panic. "Fine then, I guess Presents won't solve this problem! Aurora Bea-!" Without another waste, the Future Sight kicked in. The Delibird was thrown across the mountain path into Diep's frozen body. "Ha, your friend did come in handy."
"FURY ATTACK!" Faith shouted, appearing from behind Diep's frozen body. Slamming her beak into the Delibird multiple times, and a couple of times she struck the bag by accident.
"No! My presents!" The Delibird shouted as the glowing balls fell out of the sack. "Aw crap..." Without another word, the presents exploded all at once. Covering everything in ice, even the Delibird.
"Fire Spin!" Julian shouted as he melted the ice that surrounded him. "Ember!" The Charmander shouted, melting the ice that was covering all the other innocent pokemons, saving Diep for last. Diep was saved for last because the Delibird was frozen right besides him. If Julian wasn't careful, he could release the Delibird from the frozen cage also. "Alright here goes nothing...Fire Fang!" Julian shouted, biting into the ice as the flames erupted across the ice. Melting Diep free, but also melting the Delibird free...well half free.
"Hey!" The Delibird shouted as he saw that his bottom half was still frozen in the ice. "This isn't fair! I demand a recount!"
"I'm sorry, but you were already marked Naughty~" Diep smiled a bit as he used a string shot to shut the Delibird's mouth. "Finally, it hits..."
F13: 1.5 The Shadows...
As the team continued their ascent to the last floor of the dungeon, the sun was setting. The orange glow across the sky was truly breath taking, but there came a price to this beautiful sight. A flock of Murkrows that nested asleep in the trees in this path finally awoke. The night was their life, they were the cause of misfortune at night that is if you saw them. Luckily for the team, it wasn't night time yet. As the four of them continued onward, Christian still couldn't shake that feeling. The feeling of being followed by someone or something. Maybe he was being a bit paranoid, but who knows? This was life, things are unpredictable in life.
F14: 1.0 Enter the Storm!
Nighttime has finally fallen upon the team as the four of them sat down in a circle eating on half of a big apple each. They were hungry, though it hasn't been that long since the last time they ate.
Dark clouds were rolling into the area, bring along with them thunderous sparks that lit up the sky. The moon, hidden behind all the clouds gave off no light. Everything was dark except for the light coming off of Julian's tail. Though, his tail was burning blue, creating some sort of eerie light.
- 2 Big Apples ; + 3 Belly Slots
F14: 4.0 A Feather's Wind
"I'm cold..." Christian shivered, unaware that the feather was still stuck in his string. The rain was pour down on the four of them, along with lightning that shot across the clouds. Dancing freely, unlike the Surskit that was still on the last floor.
"I'll see what I can do..." Julian sighed, tired from this mission completely. Stopping for a second, he focused all his energy to the flame on his tail. The flame grew bigger for a second, before the rain came down and brought it back to it's original size. "There's nothing I can do about this...the rain is too strong..."
"This is bad..." Faith chirped, pulling her wings across the ground. "My wings are made out of cotton and they're absorbing water...I can't fly..." Looking back to Diep who was being dragged across the ground, hanging onto Faith with a string shot.
"I hate this kind of weather...I can't move in it or else the wind could pick me up and blow me somewhere else..." Diep sighed as he felt completely useless.
"Quit complaining you guys, we're almost there...sorta." Julian growled as they reached a turn for the next floor, but then something unexpected happen.
"Psychic!" Xatu shouted, appearing out of the dark clouds. Striking Christian perfectly on his back.
"Ah!" Christian shouted as he felt his body fling onto the ground and bounce to Julian. Julian, fortunately caught him or else they would've been huge trouble.
"What the hell?!" Julian shouted out turning towards Xatu who floated in the air, looking down on them.
"I'm okay..." Christian moaned, loosening himself from Julian's grip. "How did you hit me from that far?"
"Miracle Eye...I used the feather that was stuck to you as a target." Xatu explained as he readied himself for another attack. "Signal Beam!"
"Iron Defense!" Diep shouted, jumping in front of the attack. The Signal Beam struck Diep straight on, but when the beam faded, Diep landed with a smile. "I didn't even feel it." He laughed as he landed perfectly onto the ground.
"I would've figured much out of you..." Xatu growled as his eyes kept going after Christian. "Signal Beam!"
"Iron Defense!" Diep shouted as he jumped in front of the strike once more. "How long are you going to keep this up?"
Xatu remain silent as the thunder roared across the sky. "Twister!" Xatu shouted, spreading his wings further apart. The clouds started to shift in a spiral as the wind started to get sucked into it. "I have waited for this moment! The perfect chance to destroy all four of you! With Twister, you will all perish!"
"Perish Song!" Faith shouted as the wind picked her up into the air. Chirping horrid notes, she cursed Xatu.
"String Shot!" Diep shouted, spewing a string after Faith, catching onto her just before she disappeared into the twister. "String Shot! String Shot!" Diep shouted, throwing two more string shots after Christian and Julian who got picked up by the wind.
"It's just a matter of time before you get pulled by the wind!" Xatu shouted as his eyes glared at Faith. "You will regret putting that curse on me..." He whispered to her as he flew straight for Diep.
"Diep no!" Faith shouted, but her voice was too far for Diep to hear.
"Sky Attack!" Xatu shouted slamming his wing into Diep's body, not for damage to but make him lose balance.
"Ah!" Diep shouted as he got picked up by the wind. The Twister grabbed a hold of all four of them, spiraling them up into the air beyond the thunder clouds.
F17: 2.5 The Eye of the Storm...Surskit's Rescue~
"AH!" Christian, Julian, Diep, and Faith shouted as they crashed onto the top of the Feathered Roost. Luck, that was all that was luck. That twister should have either killed them or threw them back down to the first floor. But Arcetus was with them and sent them onto the top floor. "Ouch..." Each of them moaned as they slowly regained feeling in their bodies. They were all piled on one another with Julian at the very bottom of the pile.
"GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!" Julian shouted out, but as soon as he said those words, he heard a shushing sound.
"Please be quiet..." A sweet, cute voice whimpered. Julian's eyes opened up to see the Surskit they were suppose to rescue.
"Surskit! We're here to save you!" Julian shouted as the rest of the team stood up from their fall.
"That's good and all but please, but quiet...." The Surskit cried softly, looking back to a lone tree without any leaves. The tree was basically dead, gray, and was the only one on this floor. The rest of this floor was covered in feathers, nothing but feathers.
"What's the problem...?" Christian whispered leaning closer towards the Surskit.
"The reason why I haven't been able to leave this place was because there's a pokemon up here, hunting me!" The Surskit cried, looking back to the tree then to the team. "He's been trying to eat me ever since I got to the first floor and now, he's waiting for me to reveal myself..."
"That sounds horrible." Diep shouted in a really low voice.
"Your lucky though, you have armor to protect you from a bird's beak, but me on the other hand. I have defenseless!" She cried out, scurrying behind a rock.
"I see you brought guests Surskit..." A strange voice crackled, laughing just a bit. Flying out of the tree, the figure revealed himself out in the open. The dark clouds still rolled over them, but there was no rain. Just the sound of thunder and the crackling sounds of lightning that flew from cloud to cloud. "More food for me I guess..." The Honchkrow cawed, leaping towards the team just a little more.
"We're here to save Surskit!" Faith shouted, jumping to the front of the team.
"Aw, and what are you suppose to be? Ms. Almighty? Kid, I've dealt with bird pokemon like you before, trust me...it doesn't end well for you." Honchkrow laughed as he took a leap back. "Dark Pulse!"
"Dragon Pulse!" Faith shouted, countering the Dark Pulse with the first move that came into her mind. The two attacks collided into one another, but Honchkrow's was clearly stronger.
"Swift!" Christian shouted, adding onto the Dragon Pulse to try to even the odds.
"Flamethrower!" Julian added onto the combination to hopefully stand a chance.
"String Shot!" Whatever little damage he did, Diep had to add on to help his teammates.
"How pathetic..." The Honchkrow laughed as he opened his mouth wider causing the Dark Pulse to intensify. Within seconds, the whole team was blown away from where they stood. "Now Surskit, not more games. I'm hungry and I need to eat..."
"Disable!" Christian shouted, pulling himself from off of a rock. "I won't let you hurt her..."
Honchkrow laughed as he stood there in place, he couldn't make a move but he could talk. "How pathetic...you guys aren't even that experienced..."
"Shaddup!" Julian shouted, jumping into the air and coming down with a Dragon Rush. "We may not be strong, but we're good enough to take you down!"
"What makes you say that?" Honchkrow wondered, looking around for more possible ways for the team to strike him.
"Dragon Pulse!" Faith shouted, appearing from the outside of the top floor. Firing a Dragon Pulse that was strong enough to knock Honchkrow over. "Well for starters, you hunt down weaker pokemon!"
"Survival of the fittest, dear." Honchkrow merely responded, ready to strike back. "Super Power!" The Honchkrow shouted, rushing towards Julian ready to strike.
"Iron Defense!" Diep appeared out of nowhere, blocking Honchkrow from completing the attack on Julian.
"Fool!" Honchkrow shouted, slamming Diep into the ground with his Super Power. Diep's body crushed into the ground, creating an indent in the rock.
"We're not fools! We're fighters!" Julian shouted, jumping into the air. "Fire Spin!" The Charmander shouted, his body erupted into flames as he spun down directly over the Honchkrow.
"Miss~" The Honchkrow slipped past the Fire Spin, unaware of Christian right behind him. "Huh?!"
"Hypnosis!" Christian shouted, using the move on the Honchkrow, but the pokemon merely smiled.
"Kid, I don't sleep." Smiling just a bit, the Honchkrow knocked Christian out of the air and right into the ground.
"Iron Defense! Tackle!" Diep shouted, shooting himself from behind Honchkrow. Slamming right into Honchkrow, Julian used Flamethrower.
"Cowards! Fight face to face!" Honchkrow shouted as he turned around.
"Is this face to face enough for you?" Faith smiled as she opened her mouth. "Dragon Pulse!" With that, the Honchkrow flew off of the last floor into the dark clouds.
"Well that was easy?" Christian said, rushing towards the Surskit who was trembling in a bit of fear. The rest of the team gathered around them, ready to leave.
"O NO YOU DON'T!" Honchkrow shouted from the clouds, diving down at them. "Hyper Beam!"
"Quickly, use the badge!" Diep shouted, nudging at Christian.
"Hold on! Yes, I got it!" Not a moment too soon, the five of them wrapped back into the guild, just before the Hyper Beam crushed into the platform.
