Chobi
It had been a few weeks since she arrived at the pack and it had been the most peace she'd experienced with her whole time. For one, no a** hole lions. She was so thankful the male hyena had allowed her to come here with him. Vila felt rested, and that was saying the least of it.
She was greatful and Vila planned on full filling a favor for the male. But as to what? She laid there infront of her temperary den and pondered.
Seaki
Xx'ami-da was sitting in his ysyal spot about the dens in the high craggy rocks, normally used as a lookout. He pondered. What ofthe pack? They had new members and a... visitor. He hadn't expected anyone to stay so soon, but things happened.
Speaking of which, he should probably go check the out now. Light blue paws padded down the well-word path from the look-out to the sturdy ground. Now, where would she be...?
Glancing around, he saw the figure he was seeking, and hesitated a step forward.

Vila noticed Xami and sat up. She gave him a weary smile before getting up completely. She was thankful, it was true, but she still felt a little awkward.
The last hyena she ran into had been like a demon. Xami was kinder that was for sure.
"Good afternoon," She choked the awkward airs down.
Seaki
"'Afternoon," Xx'a replied pleasantly, hesitation pushed aside. He came a bit closer to her, still slightly unsure of the small things. "Did you have a good day so far?" The asked. The past and stuff like that was practically a forbidden topic in the pack, unless one wanted to share it that is.
Everone understood that, so he didn't ask, even if he was curious about her.
Chobi
"Yes, " She smiled not sure what else to say. This hyena was nice enough but. She never really knew how to talk to others unless it was in a life threatening situation where they had to get out alive.
This was just small talk right now. It frusterated Vila she had so little to talk about.
"I uh.. Napped in the sun and ... well.. you have a beautiful pack," Her eyes cast down as she tried to think what to say.
"Why'd you let me come here?"
Seaki
The dark Hyena game a small smile. "That's good," he nooded. He took the compliment to heart as well. "Thank you, we've worked hard to come this far," he told her. He watched her closely, still slightly worrying over her.
Of course, he made a fuss about everyone in the pack lands - he always checked up on them like an inssistent mother bird.
"Why? You needed help. That's all there is to it, really. Our pack helps travelers and those in need when we can, since most of us have been there before." Or, at lest, he had - needed help that is, and had recieved it from a nice Hyena as he stumbled agross her one day.
Chobi
"Thats very kind of you." She looked down at her paws, "But I owe you one. Is there something I can do for you?" She owed him big time. Her head seemed to be well rested now too after she had so many episodes. Thank god those were over.
The image of watching that females hyena's face melt off still haunted her. She winced a little at the thought.
"Im sorry.. Nightmare.." She shook her head. It was alright now. She was fine, she was safe.
Seaki
Xx'a gave a shake of his head. He couldn't think of anything, really, nor did he want to. "I'm afraid I don't know. I couldn't ask anything of you, anyhow." He told her kindly. He was at a loss though, he looked at her with a slightly helpless smile.
A frown crossed his face as she winced. He didn't ask, but she told him anyways, so he didn't want to broach the subject.
Chobi
Xami was so kind. He didn't ask anything of her and she was was glad he was such a kind male. The nightmare was faded back to the back of her mind now. Thank god. She was safe. Here was safe. Vila let out a sigh of relief.
"Care to show me round?" She asked. She knew her little area but the rest of the pack was a mystery to her. It wasn't such a strange request. At least Vila didn't think so. "I mean.. if you want to," She smiled.
Seaki
The dark hyena's frown returned to a smile. "Alright, I'll warn you that the pack lands are quite large though our numbers aren't so high," he told her. "I can bring you to the central lands, as they aren't far from here, and we can make our way to the large large just west of here."
"Unless, you want to do it differently?"
Chobi
Vila laughed. "I wouldn't know any other way to do it. That sounds perfect to me." She took a few steps forward only to stop and look over her shoulder. She stared at Xami with an amused look.
"Well come on then. Lets get this show on the road." She chuckled at her own lameness.
Seaki
Xx'a gave a chuckled laughter and started towards the central lands where most of the pack generally resided. He pondered starting a commentary, but decided to just ask "What do you want to know about the pack, if anything?" He asked.
Chobi
"Are there alot of hyenas around here?" She sniffed the air. The scents were, strange. Not feline but not hyena. She almost swore the air was swimming with wild dog scent. The wild dogs from a few days ago that chased her and that a** hole lion smelt similar.
Xami had a different scent to him then what was wafting through the air. Strange.
"What sort of pack is this?"
Seaki
"There aren't many at the moment, only me in fact. I've been trying to get more Hyenas to come here, but they are either violent or those who dislike being bound in an area." The dark hyena gave a shrug as he walked. "The pack is of dogs and hyenas. The dogs have helped me since I was a pup, but it seems they far outnumber the solo hyena here."
He answered calmly - nothing was wrong with it, right? Hopefully she wasn't adverse to dogs like many other hyenas were.
Chobi
It was then that she knew what she had to do to repay him.
"Well I'm a girl and your a boy," She hadn't done anything like this before. Why was she about to just volenteer this up now? But she already began the offer and it was to late to take it back. "I can help." She gave him a reassuring smile.
