ok I dont know if this is the right place to put this or not, but I recantly just got a new calrinet, and I was just wondering did I get a good deal or not. to me it looked nice, but I dont really know anything about it. its a yamaha 250 clarinet. can you tell me about this clarinet. like whats its best for. if its a good one or not.
Also I am looking for a new mouth piece because the one it came with was junk. there was a chip in it when I got it. (the calrinet above is new. the shipping people just handled my packge wrong.) So what I am asking is what is a good intermediate clarinet mouth piece that I should consider getting?

it's a student instrument. it will do anything any other student instrument will do, whether better or worse i don't know. if you want a decent mouthpiece, i'd recommend the Vandoren B45.

toco clarinet it's a student instrument. it will do anything any other student instrument will do, whether better or worse i don't know. if you want a decent mouthpiece, i'd recommend the Vandoren B45. now will a vandoren mouth piece fit on a yamaha calrinet?

yes. unless you're using extremely vintage equipment, most parts for instruments are interchangeable. one mouthpiece should fit on virtually any modern clarinet. musical equipment has been standardized for this reason. for example, i can use my gigliotti mouthpiece on my Vito, my Noblet, or my Silva-bet(the silva-bet is vintage, so it's not a perfect fit. in this case, i'm getting my mouthpiece re-corked so that the cork will fit more snug inside the barrel.)

guys lets not fight!!!!! Its HERRR opinion if she likes vandoren best. (even if she can't spell it) and I have I think its a vandoren b flat clarinet but I hate the vandoren reeds they're too hard to play on. personaly, I like Rico reeds smile their softer and don't hurt my mouth when I play on a new reed.
