do you have much in the way of graphic images saved on your pc? i was lucky as i tend to save anything pretty/sparkly that i see redface bit of a magpie me lol

i can't make them either, i just save them from various sites, i have them all sorted into folders too, dividers, glittery things, gifs... rolleyes shame my home isn't so well organised! here's a few links that you might find useful :~ this is a spanish site but don't that that put you off, there's an absolute ton of stuff on it! redface something i forgot! you get a lot of pop-ups on this site, nothing sinister, just ads in spanish, i found that Mozilla woke up and blocked them after just one though

So many of us have quest threads, I'm sure we can all answer any questions you have. I suggest that first you go reserve a thread--just title it "Setting Up, please don't post!" and make 15 posts that say reserved.
You can use this site if you want to make the "reserved"s look nice.

i didn't know how many posts to reserve when i made Peachy's quest, i think i only put a couple by, but i put one of my nice sparkly dividers in them to make them look nice 3nodding xd

Jelly, I love that fancy border thing! When I was making Alisha's wedding webpage, I was looking for something kind of like that, and all my searching turned up with nothing to my liking, so I finally made something myself.
When I made my quest thread, I didn't know about reserving posts for different things. I just stated my quest, how much I had towards it, and thanked bumpers/donators. I waited a day, and no one had responded, so I happened to be my first bumper, so at least I had two posts in a row that I could split up the info into. When I decided to totally redo my thread, I asked a forum mod to delete the bumps that fell between my own posts so I could have 6 or 7 posts in a row to use for info, rules, links, etc.
I don't have any header graphics or nice fonts/colors/layouts like some of you, but my whole quest is kind of half-hearted anyway since it's pretty unattainable. So really it's just a place for us and our mules to up our post counts. wink

when i made mine i went threw all the purkles threads along with some in the forum to get ideas of what i wanted....i regret not reserving a couple more posts but that is ok....the only graphics i had to begin with was a main header and a button from the fantaboo sunny...
also sunny and i helped nibbler with her quest thread....
give me a few and i could see if sunny would like to go at it and help make you one.... wink

That's why I made a new thread. It made things a pain for a little bit, but everyone found their way to the new home. Now if only my sig maker would come off hiatus and update my imagemap!!
