I get that sometimes. I hate when my mom tries to tell me who I can be friends with.
I'm a girl. She gets really touchy when I mention being with one of my guy friends when the rest are girls for a few hours. Even if he's gay. =_=

I can't recall that ever happening to me. If it were about me meeting a girl, maybe my dad would ask if she was Filipina, but even that hasn't been much of a big deal either.
