xFirst Impressionsx
When you head to the West Wing, one of the first rooms is where Team Element makes its residence.
The door is normal, if slightly strangely decorated with small, badly painted Pokemon, and always open to visitors.

xThe Team's Roomsx
Team Element's rooms are fairly small, although there are many and they are all lovingly decorated.
In the first is a table and a small kitchenette. An electronic bulletin board is between there and a hallway, which branches out to several bedrooms (with extra beds), a reading room, a computer and a storage room.
A set of stairs, the door at the end of which is locked, connects these rooms to the Good Doctor's laboratory.

xThe Laboratoryx
The Laboratory is the domain of the Good Doctor, and he is very choosy about whom he lets in; at night, strange noises can be heard in here and most choose to stay away.
It is where he both sleeps and works and is below the team's rooms.

the Good Doctor & Experiment #004

With Vertigo safely on his bed to recuperate from the mission, the Good Doctor - still carrying his bag of body parts - headed further down the hall, down the stairs, and into his lab. Locking the steel door behind him, he sighed and smiled. This was the only place he could ever truly relax, and he was glad he'd built it after having trouble finding anywhere quiet. Of course, he'd met Rune when he'd decided to go to the attic, so it wasn't all bad to get out, he supposed. He found her rather adorable.

Setting his bag down in the middle of his lab, he first pulled on a latex glove for his good hand before he took out the body parts he had collected on their last mission and opened the machine he used to store them in, pulling out the four Poochyena legs from the Moon Guild's attack. All of the parts arranged in the way he planned to sew them, he got to work, connecting nerves, tendons, and muscle fiber. It was bloody work, not for the fainthearted, but the Good Doctor had no issues with it, and soon he had the four legs attached to the Houndour body, which in turn was connected to the Charmander tail. Fitting on the head, he matched the spinal cords, windpipe, throat, muscles and blood vessels before finally stitching the head on as well.

Now his creation lay on the ground, limp and questionably compatible body parts stitched together, without a hint of life. But that was easily fixed; lifting the body, the Good Doctor moved it over to his main machine, where he hooked up electrodes to key parts on the body and, using great amounts of electricity, began to shock the body. Meanwhile, needles he had attached to blood vessels began to push in compatible blood to replace the huge amounts that had came out when he originally took the parts. Soon he noticed that it was beginning to twitch, its legs and tail moving, and he closed his eyes and used three Recovers in quick succession, his hand on the construct's heart.

And as it began to beat and the tail ignited, the Good Doctor grinned. Experiment #004 was successful, the first he'd had, and he smiled almost fondly as the misshapen creature took its first steps. "Aahhh..." it groaned, stumbling around, and as soon as it saw him, it perked up and moved as fast as its stubbly little limbs could carry it. "Maa...aa..." It tried to talk, but it didn't come out right, and at that moment the scientist realized he had forgotten to put together all the vocal cords. Damn. Then he noticed the little thing trying to chomp down on his scythe, thankfully not the sharp side. Picking it up carefully, he placed it in a containment cell and powered up the surgery machine. He had some brain tinkering to do.

Rune blinked a few times as she wandered down the hallway that led to the West Wing. Her teammates were having trouble dealing with each other so she had decided to try not to be a burden and go off and do something on her own. Problem was, now that she was moving she didn't really know where she was going. Frowning, she slowed and looked up on the name plates on the doors she passed. One was boldly titled Team Element and at once she brightened. That Sableye friend of her had said he was from this Team! Without thinking she walked up to the door and knocked. Seconds later, she realized what she had done and tugged her cloak around herself shyly. "Oh dear... I can't leave now... that would be rude.... but.... " she whispered to herself, fidgeting a bit. Perhaps t would be the Good Doctor right of the bat! Perhaps not...

Zen & the Good Doctor

The door slowly opened, creaking on the hinges that they never got around to oiling, and a single eye peered through the crack, scrutinizing the Snorunt on the other side. It was opened wider to show a grinning face, and at once the door was flung open. "Heya~" a hyperactive Squirtle said cheerfully, grabbing her hand and gently tugging her inside. "What d' ya need? Are you - oh! Are you here to join the team? We really do need an ice type." His chatter stopped for a second as he thought. "Oh my god. We didn't do a mission. Right? VERT! DID YOU GUYS DO A MISSION WITHOUT ME!?" he yelled to his Bulbasaur partner, hearing a very grumpy negative answer from the reading room. "Well then...um..." He looked around to see the Good Doctor, scythe newly cleaned of blood, enter the front area. "Ah! Rune, hello," he said, smiling. Zen stared. The creepy Sableye knew that cute girl? It was too much for his brain to handle. Muttering a farewell, he took off down the hall.

Oh dear, the door was opening. She really hoped it was going to be her friend but when a single eye peeped out at her, she knew it wasn't him. A sinking feeling in her stomach, she began to back up when the Squirtle revealed himself fully. Not really getting a chance to reply, she was swiftly pulled inside against her will. Eyes wide and darting around, she began to look for a nice way to escape. Or at least something to say that wouldn't hurt his feelings and at the same time permit her to run. Jumping a bit at the loud voice, she was about to finally introduce herself when a tall, lanky figure made itself known. "Hello!" she exclaimed, although her voice remained soft. Trotting over to the dark Sableye, she wrapped her tiny hands around his leg as best as she could in an adorable embrace.

the Good Doctor

The Good Doctor was taken slightly aback by her little hug, but soon relaxed, getting lower to the ground to give her an awkward hug back. Runoura was such an adorable child, and so different from every other member of his team. "I'm sorry zat I did not answer ze door," he said. "Zen ees...an odd child." Nodding, he stood up again. "Eh...vould you like a tour...?"

Backing away slowly once the nice little hug was given, she turned her softly hued eyes upwards to that single gleaming crimson eye. What might have been a malovolent color to others, was in fact merely interesting to the little Snorunt. Shaking her head slowly, she smiled very shyly. "It's okay... You were probably doing something." she murmured. Looking in the direction the Squirtle had gone, she couldnt' help but agree. He was a tad... eccentric. Brightening at the mention of a tour, she nodded. "If you would like to, that would be wonderful."

the Good Doctor

He shook his head. "Just vorking in ze lab," he said, shrugging. It wasn't a major surgery or anything, he was just playing around with his brand-new, high-power electron microscope that he was quite excited about. "All right, zen." He grinned, a sight that wasn't too terrible, considering how it usually looked - probably because it was a 'yay' grin, not a 'you're gonna die' grin. "Down zis hall are ze team's rooms." Walking down it, he waited for Rune to catch up as he pointed out the reading room and main bedrooms.

Lab? From what she had read, there were many kinda of labs and she was curious as to what career it was dedicated to. Of course, she was far too reserved and shy to ask. If her friend wanted to show her, he would. If not, that would be just fine and dandy too. Smiling a bit more in response to the grin, she obediantly began to follow. Rune had to trot a bit to keep up with the Doctor's strides but it was worth it. "Everything is so organized..." she commented quietly, taking in the rooms. Compared to her own Team's room, this place was the epitome of cleanliness.

the Good Doctor

Glancing down at Rune fondly, he noticed that she was having to walk quickly to keep up with him, and he slowed down slightly. "Zank you," he said. "But, itt is mostly Vertigo who does anyzing up here." The Bulbasaur spent most of his time in the reading room, but it was only because of him that anything was clean at all. As they reached the end of the hall, he stopped. "Down zere is my laboratory, vere I vork, and sleep." Descending the stairs, he laid his palm on the flat door, which opened. He entered, flicked on a light switch, and beckoned her in.

Seeing as her gaze was concentrated on watching her step and glancing about at the same time, she did not catch the fond look thrown her way. Once she had caught up, she gave a mildly confused expression. Vertigo was a mystery to her, as she had never heard the name nor seen the Pokemon before. As they came to a stop at the top of a staircase, she stared warily down into the awaiting gloom. A question arose but he answered it as if reading her very mind. So that was where he dwelled... Blinking rapidly, she realized she had lost herself for a moment and hurried down the stairs after the tall Sableye. Now standing close beside him, she cautiously looked around, having never been in a lab before, she was slightly concerned. A thought arose. "Do you not get... lonely down here?" she asked softly, looking up at the Doctor.

Looking at the laboratory proudly, the GD smiled; he was happy he could finally share it with Rune, although he was glad that he'd gotten rid of all evidence of questionable activities before heading upstairs. Then he heard her question. "I...I do, I suppose," the Sableye said. He'd never really thought about it before - usually, if he got too lonely, he'd bring out one of the friendlier experiments, but they were never too good for conversation. "Alzhough, I do enjoy my vork down here, it is very important," he said, nodding before turning to the right. "Over zere is my room."

Finally deciding that nothing was going to explode and douse her in a dangerous array of chemicals, she took the time to absorb her new surroundings. It wasn't as bright as upstairs but the places where he worked were very well lit. Books and different scientific devices lay about in some disarray but one could tell they were well used. Upon hearing th Doctor admit that he did at times get lonely, she drew her attention back to him and frowned. "Well, you can always... visit me. That's what friends are for after all." she whispered, truly concerned. On the otherhand, she was glad the Sableye enjoyed his work and followed along as he led her to his room. Blinking, she noted the somewhat neglected bed and other various items.

the Good Doctor

His room was not anywhere close to his crowning achievement; he mostly kept his books in there and as he didn't sleep much, spent little time inside. Most of his free time was spent tinkering with machines or his experiments, or reading books; Vertigo wasn't too happy with his tendency to take books from the reading room for extended periods of time. "...Zank you," he said, in response to her whispered offer. "I vould love to." Casting his eye over his room and laboratory, he sighed. Next time Rune came over, he'd have to clean up a little bit; it was fairly messy by his standards. Turning to her, he asked, "Silly of me to not ask you earlier...vhat brings you here?"

Runoura smiled brightly at the positive response she had garnered. Although he may not say so, the little Snorunt sometimes felt he was more alone than he would actually like to be. It broke her heart to see anyone in pain, which contributed to her extreme reluctance to fight. Of course... she knew she would have to fight one day, but never for her own desire. Sure, if her life was in danger she's protect herself but if a friend was being threatened, she would do all she could to keep them from harms way. Blinking, she realized she had spaced out and blushed slightly in embarrassment. Shooting a quick look up towards the Doctor's face, she couldn't help but hope he hadn't noticed her momentary distraction. "Oh... Well, my team is a tad... disorganized and I thought I'd get out of the way so as not to be a bother." she replied, laughing very lightly under her breath. "I remembered what Team you were from and decided to knock give a knock."
