Old news is old.
Stuff like this is happening more often and there are lots of people doing it.
Just remember to report it and don't give away your password and you'll be alright.

My friends and I have got something all similar...
It's kinda stupid how people would even attempt to trick someone in this way.
Doesn't everyone know that Gaia Admins would never ask for passwords? It even said so when I signed up I think.

That is a pretty standard PM. They don't change much.
Just report it and move on, you'll likely see that same message next year..

ive got about 5 of them. first was when i first joined and i ALMOST fell for it since i didnt know at the time that mods had different colorer names, but i didnt and reported it. they've recently started getting trickier with the ones they send me, such as the last one thats was a get rich quick scam offering to give enough gold to get you everything on your wishlist

That's like the exact same text I received on my other account like back in 2005. Its like hackers use the same standard for their pm's.
