PWInsider.com is reporting that Tommy Dreamer has asked for his WWE release and the word backstage is that he will be leaving the company. Dreamer was at the Smackdown/ECW tapings in Orlando last night, and although his release from WWE has not been confirmed at this time, all indications are that he has asked for the release and is waiting for it to be granted by WWE.

At Least he got one Last Run to be ECW Champion again.

i think having kane be the ECW champ or at least in the running will make it a little more interesting but it needs to be a 2 hour show with a few bigger names but i guess it is a good televised training camp

Yeah, I was more of a Fanof the Original ECW then New ECW, Only Reason I watch it is Christian and Tommy Dreamer

I like the new ECW, it's had some great matches...it is nothing next to the old ECW though. I'll miss Tommy, but really hope he doesn't go to TNA they won't have anything for him really.

Just a quick thing, not about Dreamer wanting a release because I never really cared about Dreamer that much, even if he is an ECW guy.
But do they REALLY have to call him an ECW original? Seriously he's like the only original there.

What are you talking about, nothing for him in TNA. They had nothing for him since the other originals left.
