Pet : Asteria brought her Oriental Shorthair cat, Eos, with her to Hogwarts as a kitten. He's the color of cinnamon, save for a few patches of cream-colored hair on his small body. Eos follows Asteria everywhere, something that bothered her professors at first, but now they've simply accepted. He doesn't cause trouble in class and merely sits at Asteria's feet, and so they're left alone.

Home Life : Asteria was born and raised in Wizarding London in a dysfunctional upper-class family. Her father, Osiris Wichild, and her mother, Emily Wichild, worked together as the owners of Eye of Newt, a potions supply store in Nocturne Alley. She has two younger siblings, Set and Nefertari. The two are twins and are set to start their schooling at Hogwarts next year.

Asteria's father is a death eater and is arranging her marriage to Draco Malfoy once she graduates. She is impartial when it comes to this union, knowing that she must do as her father tells her or shame her whole family.

Diving deeper : Asteria happens to have a secret. The Potions Master, Severus Snape was one of her parents classmates and has bought ingredients from her family for as long as she can remember. She was vaguely acquainted with him before she began her career at Hogwarts and has since developed a deep crush on the man. She knows better than to try anything and simply hopes it will disappear after she leaves the school.

Asteria spends all her free time in the library or in the Room of Requirement brewing things she shouldn't be. She has a weakness for sweets of all sorts, especially cotton candy. She keeps a bottle of soda with her at all times, and is terrified that her friends will find out.

Taking a closer look :

"Asteria!" Asteria clambored down the stairs of Eye of Newt and smoothed her slate gray robes before entering the shop.

"Yes, mum?" Asteria was a spitting image of her mother, equally as blonde and her hair was just as unruly and curly as hers. Emily glanced over her shoulder at her daughter, then back to the customer.

Asteria's heart skipped a beat. It was Professor Snape, and she had to bite her lip to keep a blush from creeping into her cheeks. He nodded to her.

"Miss. Wichild." He said calmly, and Asteria visualized chocolate colored silk.

"Professor Snape." She returned, hoping her voice didn't sound as shaky as it felt.

"Your father's out. Will you get Serverus's order from the back?" Emily asked, completely unaware of her daughter's feelings. Asteria nodded mutely and fled.

Asteria pressed her back to the cool door and let herself breath again. She only prayed it would be better when break was over.
