[[This RP originally happened over AIM. Characters: Peca (Nessiaing) and Xx'ami-da (Seaki)]]
Nessiaing
Peca had been wondering alone for quite sometime. She left her family when she became a teen in search of something a little more interesting.... a new life and interesting life, and home freiends.... anything really she wasn't picky she just knew that there was more to life then what her small family had to offer her.
As she travelled she had caught the sent of a large grouping of animals, the animals appeared to all be cainine and she was drawn to them. She had spent quite sometime watching the lands from a distnaces, she wanted to know what it was like before she got close to them. She never imagined that in return someone might be watching her, she thought of herself as somewhat stealthy.
Seaki
Xx'ami-da had been up bright and early that day, much like he always was. On this day, however, he had decided to venture up the craggy rocks and watch the borders of the lands. He didn't expect anyone to come around, as the pack was pretty isolated from other prides and packs.
He was mistaken. Red eyes watched as a white figure moved closer to the lands. With a desisive nod, he made his way back down the path and made to greet the white creature somewhere around the borders.
Nessiaing
Peca noticed the blue and red hyena moving towards her and she felt the mucsles in her small femine body tense. She wasn't looking for any sort of figtht, she just wanted a home, some where safe and friendly. She moved into a low position showing that she wasn't going to cause any problems she was jsut here to observe to now more.
She watched the other hyena move, she thought he moved a little funny for a hyena though she didn't think to much of it, but he did walk sort of like a wild dog, it made her smile, deciding it meant that he must have personality, he wouldn't be like just any other hyena out in the savanah he was unique.
Seaki
Xx'a looked at the lightly colored Hyena curiously, for she was a hyena. "Hello," he said lightly and in the most friendly tone. He was always a freindly Hyena, just with a few problems. He stopped walking a few paces away from her, at least twelve paces - after all, he didn't wish to raise his voice to speak with her.
The red eyes sparkled passionately, his body almost lax. "I'm Xx'ami-da. The Mkuu here... Or, one of the leaders. Who might you be?"
Nessiaing
"I am Peca." the female hyena told Xx'ami-da. "I am sorry I didn't mean to intrude or anyting, its just your home drew me in, and I wanted to see more." she told him with a smile on her face. She was glad that she had met a friendly face from the pride, she had been worried that they would have been mean, she had come across a few mean prides on her travelles, but from what she had seen of this one, they apppeared to be rather friendly.
She looked Xx'a over now that he was closer to her she was able to get a better look at him. He wasn't a large male henya but he was slightly bigger than her which wasn't overly had as she was very small and femine in stature. She found his coloring rather visually appeasing, it was bold but in a way she felt that perhaps it suited him, his red eyes glistened pleasently. She found him a rather striking hyena.
Seaki
"Nice to meet you, Peca," Xx'ami-da said pleasently. "You aren't intruding, the Pack is quite welcoming," he stated. They had, in fact, just welcomed a few new members into the pack. He didn't know if this female would stay or not, but he sinceraly hoped so. She would be only the second Hyena, including himself, not that he minded much.
"Was there anything you wanted to know about my home?"
Nessiaing
Peca was a little taken back by Xx'ami-da's friendliness, it was a good thing but she wasn't use to others being quite this friendly, for some reason she felt that hyena's weren't always treeted well in the savahanah, weather it was true or not, she was happy to have found somewhere that might be welcoming to her and her kind.
"Well I would love a tour if you wouldn't mind, maybe well you show me around you could also tell me more about your home's ways." she smiled hoping she wasn't asking for too much, the more she saw from out beyond the borders, and now meeting Xx'ami-da she was wanting to know more of the place she was now thinking she might call home.
Seaki
The dark-colored hyena gave a nod. "Sure," he nodded, pondering for a second which way to go. "Would you like to see the central lands first, or the outerlands?" He questioned, looking towards the central lands first then to where the outerlands would be located.
"There are mostly dogs here, just so you know," he stated, just in case. When he was a mere pup he was accused of holding a dog as a slave - sick and twisted, he thought about that one. He knew many Hyenas didn't like dogs.
Nessiaing
"I don't mind there being dogs." she told the other hyena, Peca really didn't have a mean bone in her body she loved pretty much anyone and everyone, the only time she had an adversian to someone was if they caused her harm first. "I would like to see the central lands first." she told the male hyena.
She was hoping to see the inner prides workings, because she had only looked from the outskirts she hadn't see the structure within very much yet, and wanted to know more, she wanted to see how the pirde got along with each other and such things, and she was looking forward to hearing what one of their leaders had to say about them alll.
Seaki
"Alright, this way then," Xx'ami turned, following pathes from the outer lands that lead across the few rivers that lead into the central lands. He spoke as he walked though, informing the female of the inner workng. "Our pack is based on peace and unity. Most everyone here are weathered travelers who don't wosh to travel anymore, or those foced into travel," he told her.
"We don't ask about pasts here, though, as it's in the past. We live in the present, you know?" He looked towards the sky for a second. "There's no fighting or anything. It's not allowed here, but we let the clans take care of it if it's minor, like sibling spats and such."
"The clans are simply family units that are large enough to have the title of clan. They take care of the genereal things, and they have their own that incorporate ours into them, and have their own religion. There are only two clans right now, but a third one is emerging," he gave a nod. He hoped he covered everything.
"Any questions?"
Nessiaing
Peca listened as she walked through the lands with Xx'ami nodding at the appropriate times. When he finished up she turned and looked at him, at the moment she didn't think she had any questions but one, "Can I live her?" it was rather blunt of a question, and she hoped his answer was yes... it wasn't often that Peca knew what to say in situations so she always went the blunt route, right up front was the way to be.
She looked around her this place really could be her new home, she felt comfortable here and happy. She eyed the other hyena hopefully.
Seaki
Xx'ami-da gave a small grin, his insides giddy. "You're welcome to," he told her, happily, gland that there was now a second Hyena joining the lands, and a pretty female at that.
Nessiaing
Peca smiled beyond words in excitment. She spun around looking at her new home, a happy place a place she was going to stay forever, she had found what she had been looking for all her life. It was an amazing feeling really.
