Palace! It's just so romantic and classy.........
Unless we're doing a "WOOHOO! CHUGCHUGCHUG! TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF! LET'S PLAY BEER PONG!" type of party, in which case, the Temple works. OOOOOOOR, the Palace for it because of SMA Series Episode 39 (as seen on YouTube.com/Megami33)

((Since we are running short on 'holiday time', the temple it is, even if it would seem out of place to celebrate it at a temple. I hope Rei wont mind.))
6 am Christmas Day
Lone had gotten up early that day and had already driven to the Temple, even if he had to drive slow due to the thick snow that had covered most of the roads. Hiding the gifts he had bought for everyone inside the Temple, he began sweeping away the snow on the patio and walk ways. Taking a moment from shoveling snow away, he stopped and looked around with a smile. He enjoyed the winter, the snow covered scene, and the cold weather. He continued to smile as he returned to shoveling. Even though everyone would be waking up with their families and enjoying their Christmas morning, he didn't mind that he wasn't spending it with anyone, or that he didn't really have anyone to spend it with.
Lone smiled with nervousness and said, "I hope Rei don't mind me being here so early."

((Out of utter boredom, I guess I'm the fastest to post. XD I should really be doing my IA right now but.... Oh well, RPing is more fun.))
8:30 am, Christmas Day
The brunette tucked her hair behind her right ear for the fourth time that day, regretting her decision to grow it out for the holidays. She hated when it was this long. Eventually she gave up on it, letting it fall in front of her face as she finished wrapping up presents for the party later on. To think she was actually going to one for once instead of watching them and wishing she was there. A few more minutes cutting and taping wrapping paper left her finished, though littered with small paper-cuts. "There. I'm done." She sighed, quite satisfied with her work, before leaning back against the wall to close her eyes for a minute. And then her watch went off, signaling that she should probably get a move on now.
A fast light-portal sent her sprawling into the snow in front of the Temple, only for her to jump back up to her feet and knock the snow off her holiday dress and trying to to turn redder than her hairbow. "Balance save me, I'm such a klutz." Maybe it was slightly ironic that she was praying to Balance for Balance, but either way, she was smiling happily by the time she knocked on the Temple door.

Lone finished putting away the shovel in the Temple's shed and stepped out. As he closed the door, he saw Lucis and said, "I didn't expect anyone to arrive until later. By the way, Rei is inside celebrating with her grand father, so it would be slightly rude to bother them this early." He walked half way towards her before sitting on the edge of the patio. 'Really... she shows up early, but AFTER I do most of the work around this place.'

"Oh, really? Oh dear, I'll have to remember to apologize later..." She bit the inside of her lip, frowning at her own forgetfulness. She meandered over to the patio as well, kneeling as first, before eventually leaning over slightly to rest on her arm and tucking her skirt around her to keep warm. She hadn't counted on there being this much snow around, she wasn't used to Earth winters anymore. "So... how has your winter been?" Of course, it was a standard question to try to break a silence, but she couldn't help but glance around at the scenery, it was all so pretty glistening white like this.

"My winter? Hmm... Well I haven't gone and done my training in the snow yet, so I'm just waiting for the Holidays to end for now." Lone glanced over to see Lucis' skirt and shock his head. "I don't get girls sometimes. It will be freezing outside and girls will still dress like that." Before Lucis would give him an argument, Lone had already taken off his trench coat and was handing it to her.
"...huhmmm... Guess I will get back to getting the temple ready." Lone stood up and walked over to the steps that lead up to the temple. He then turned around and pictured in his head how he was going to set up the lights and such.

"Why wait for the holidays to end? Why not enjoy them and then do whatever once their over. You act like the holidays are a bad thing." She smiled slightly, rolling her eyes at him, only to frown slightly at his next comment. Lucis was unsure of whether to except the coat because she was freezing or to refuse on grounds of not wanting to make him cold. Eventually she settled on refusing, shaking her head and handing it back. "It's not that cold. And in my defense, I didn't know it would be this cold and snowy. I don't really live anywhere around here, and we don't exactly get the Tokyo Daily News up there."
Her frown slipped as he talked about getting the temple ready, smiling again at the thought of how long it had been since she had thrown any form of a party. Of course one of her guests had showed up early too and had helped out, as proper manner dictated. That and she liked setting up for these things. "May I help please, Lone?"
