Seaki:
Mufasa had gotten used to being idle - that was odd for him, usually, but the excitement and emotions had overwhelmed him greatly. The strange influx of emotions that he hadn't felt in so long - that he hadn't gotten used to. He was at a loss. He could feel. It confused him, and he felt he was going to have an emotion breakdown.
He didn't want to break down. He had locked his emotions away so long ago - he was afraid of them now. Sure, he was a great actor, and he felt amusement and sometimes worry, but only one or the other. The mothering klipspringer helped him a bit, but she couldn't understand.
Between her brother and her, she was always coddled. She couldn't understand, probably not ever. She was never trained to lock away her emotions, to force them away.
The lion looked at his reflections over the lake, it showed him many things, but what he noticed most was how pathetic and lost he looked - he hated feeling like this.
nessiaing:
Hetal came trottig along beside the lake. She was in a good mood, she had spent her day being fairly productive. She had been scouting locations for the pride to be and it made her happy. She was getting into the swing of being activie again, it had been such a long time really, she was so use to spending her day lieing in the sun, doing absolutely nothing at alll. But now, now she was out and about everyday, doing things meeting others. She had even got her voice back!!
As she rounded the side of the lake she saw Mufasa lieing their. She began to quicken her step excited to see the lion wanting to share with him all that she had seen and done. She skidded to a stop though when she saw his face. It had been a long time since Hetal had seen someone who was upset, and even then it had been her pride members, in the last days of the pride and their faces were all riddled with fear. She knew however that there was no mistaking it something was wrong with Fasa.
She stood there looking at him trying to figure out what she should do or say, suddenly she felt her voice vanish. She wasn't sure if the lion had noticed her standing there yet but if he had she was probably only making things worse by standing there staring at him she thought, and because she didn't know if he had seen her she didnt want to just walk away that would be insensitive. So she sat and dug deep to find her voice. "Uh Fasa..... is everything ok?" She knew it was lame but it was all she could get out.
Seaki:
Mufasa visibly flinched away from Hetal's voice when he heard it - it was exactly what he didn't want. The lion clenched his sharp teeth together and closed his eyes, forcing himself to calm down - forcing the emotions away, but it just wasn't working right.
He gave a sigh, adverting his gaze from the pure female. "I'm sorry," he spoke softly, happy that his voice didn't crack under the stress of the long locked away emotions. "I didn't know you would be back so soon." The lion shifted lightly, pushing himself up, but keeping his head down and gaze adverted.
He kept his mouth closed now, afraid that if he spoke anymore, he would truly break down, and he just couldn't - not in front of Hetal. He trusted her, yes, but he didn't want anyone to see him this way...
nessiaing:
She studied him which was possibly not the right thing to do, but she was interested by him emotions, something was different about him, she was usually an easy going lion, and now his face seemed twisted to her, it had emotions on it that she wasn't even sure she knew the name of. Until recently Hetal had been about two things, her alone time, and well the time she din't spend alone, she spent it with others in secluded dens, it was primal emotions that was all.
"Hey uh you know you could talk to me" Hetal didn't have a judgemental bone in her body, and sme weird side of her wanted Fasa to be closer to her, let him know that she would always be there for him, it was a strange bond she felt to him, perhaps it was because he was the first one she had talked to after so long. He had helped her find her voice, and now she hoped that she could help him find his.
Seaki:
Mufasa took in a sharp breath and forced some of the emotions back, taking a second to beat away the most horrid ones and let remain the emotions he could deal with - amusement, worry. Stray emotions managed to slip through, but he turned to the white female anyway.
"It's just been so much all at once," he told her softly, his voice tired, cracking a little. "It's been so... so long since I felt these emotions, Hetal..." He sighed. "So many at once," he lowered his head further, letting his gaze drift to the middle of her chest.
He shifted a paw. He didn't know how to deal with this, damnit! Anger and confusion added to the mix, body shaking. "I don't know what to do..." He hadn't said so much in so long, not about himself, never about himself. He had long since viewed himself as a killer, as unimportant except for that. And actor - a faker, and a seer.
He wasn't ready for such an influx, as he had forgotton he could feel at all.
nessiaing:
Hetal moved towards the lion, as his head lowered, she came and laid beside him. She lowered her head onto his shoulder, "Fasa I am the last person you need to worry about showing this side to." she nuzzled into his shoulder.
"I am so afraid of everything in life, till I met you I was alone. Now that we are moving everything is moving so fast, but we can do this we can do it together." she smiled at him not that he could see her face. She had been whispering most of what she had said, she hoped that is had made Fasa feel better, but she doubted her abilities to console or comfort anyone.
Seaki:
The dark and light lion gave a small smile, feeling a bit better with the words of his new leader. He felt his heart draw nearer to hers, and he rest his head against her body. "I will be able to face my emotions..." He gave a sigh, forcing himself to relax, muscles sagging. "My emotions, eventually, together with you... By the time we make the pride official."
He didn't wish to look at her yet, small wet tears dripping from his eyes. "I promise..."
He wished to draw her closer, but was unwilling to move. "It'll all get easier, right?" He asked softly.
nessiaing:
Hetal moved to lay beside Fasa instead, "It will get easier all the time Fasa, it will." she told him softly. "Emotions are tricky business, I personally don't understand them all that well myself." She told him honestly, "But I know we can work on all this together, we can be a team in everything." it was strange for her but she knew then that she had bonded completely with Fasa, weather he felt the same way or not.
"Do you want to change the topic talk about something else?" she asked him, she didn't know about him, but sometimes she liked to try to think about other things when stuff was going down hill for her, and she did still have to tell him all about the lands she had scooped out.
Seaki:
The large lion gave a slight nod, giving a small smile to the white cheetah beside him. He didn't comment on her brief monologue about emotions, letting the simple nod show his agreement on both subjects.
"What did you want to talk about," he asked after te moment of his silence. Hedidn't know - he was never good with conversations, but blind obedience.
nessiaing:
"I have found some lands, lands we could use for the pride. Somewhere we could both call home." she told Fass proudly. She was very proud to have found something. "Its perfect, its got a little bit of everything, a forest a beach, and little bits of mountanins." she had began to ramble in her excitement.
"You will have to come see it Fassa, I need your seal of approval on it." she told him, with a huge grin on her face, truth be told Fasa's opinion meant a lot to her.
Seaki:
Mufasa gave a pesive look, trying to picture the area as Hetal spoke, but snapped back to attention when she spoke again. "When do we leave?" he asked, but truly didn't wish to move from the spot he had suddenly gained comfort in, but he would if she wanted to leave now.
nessiaing:
"Tomorrow, tomorrow we can go back to our new home." she told him, a smile on her face, it was going to be their new home, a home and well it was going to be interesting, she was going to have a family, interestingly enough she had in this short time she had grown rather attactched to Fasa, it was confusing for her, she had never felt this way about anyone. She nuzzled further into Fassa's side further. "Thank you" she mumbled to him.
