Vasto Lorde
Alma examined every tiny piece of desert she came across as she traveled through Hueco Mundo in search of hollows. She had devoured many, but she was out for bigger game now. Alma had stalked through the desert feeding on lesser hollows, but finally came across her goal. She feel deep into the pitfall of Menos Forest, and her teeth shown white through her grinning lips.
"I finally found an entrance." Alma spoke aloud to herself as she searched for a group of Gillian. Spotting movement close by she immediately darted toward that area, and lunged forward at the first sight of the Menos. The ground shook wildly and kept a deep tremble as the Gillian feel at the crushing power of Alma's tail.
There was a massive scream, and a misfired cero as Alma sunk her fangs into the Gillian's throat tearing away her first bite. The misfired cero slammed into a nearby rock formation attracting all nearby Menos, and Alma grinned through blood soaked teeth.

Several Menos Grande began to gather around Alma as she finished her meal, and they all roared with an obvious challenge to the Adjucha. Alma looked up to see dozens of fresh hollows gather, and didn't hesitate a second to attack. Launching at the first she saw Alma took a large chunk out of the Menos' shoulder, and slammed her tail into its mask simultaneously sending it hard to the ground. As the Menos fell she pounced from its falling body to her next vitcim's face, and dug her fangs in deep ripping up a large chunk of mask to devour.
A piercing screech was let our from the Menos as it plead for help or mercy. Alma laughed in delight as she grabbed another chunk. Behind her three Menos began to charge ceros, and the rest moved closer to her from the other side. Alma sensed the increased reiatsu, and launched into the air at the last second dodging three ceros. Two of the ceros collided and exploded on contact below her, and the third continued on to hit a different Menos. Alma landed hard on the ground being thrown off balance by the cero explosion. Roaring she grew angry and charged forward firing scales from her tail behind her, and launched at the closest Menos bringing her claws down hard on its shoulders.
A series of explosions erupted behind Alma signaling that she hit something, but wasn't sure quite yet if it was one of the Menos. She made contact with the Menos infront of her after hearing this, and ripped its arm area clean off. After the satisfying scream that was accompanied by at least three more Alma spun her body forward, and balled herself up making her body into a temporary spike ball and slammed into the remaining chunk of the Menos bringing it down. Landing hard on the ground and leaving a crater she turned to see only five Menos left standing.
Alma smirked as she lunged forward on all fours, tail swinging behind her wildly, and launched herself into the air with a fierce roar. As she reached the highest point of her jump she opened her mouth as a red ball began to form in her mouth. Backed by a shaky laughter she brought her head down near her left armpit, and swung it all the way to her right as she fired the cero. A resulting line of destruction rung out infront of her as she descended swiftly to the ground. Alma then began to devour her newly won meal as she heard the sounds of something bigger approaching.

Alma felt stronger and stronger as she chewed threw every little bit of hollow she could find around her, and enjoyed the Menos thoroughly as she waited for what ever she heard to come her way. Blood dripped from her mouth and all over the ground as she ate the last bit of Menos, and looked up still hungry and wanting more. As a large tremor came from behind her she looked up happily awaiting her next meal, but it wasn't the Menos she had expected. The large beast tore a large rock formation out of its way as it walked toward Alma. This definitely wasn't the Menos she had expected, this was an Adjucha.
"What are you doing eating my meals without my consent little one...?" The large Adjucha asked looking greatly upset that she had invaded his territory. He stalked closer raising his arm above he head, and snarling at her. "All of this you see around you... Is mine!" He roared as he brought his fist down hard making a crater where the impact was. Then he stepped into the light where Alma could actually see him, and she was a little frightened at the sight. She had never really seen another Adjucha, and had foolishly considered herself big.
The Adjucha resembled that of a Rhinoceros, he stood very tall at almost the height of half a Menos. He had large muscles and two spikes going upwards from his elbows. Even though he had hands he seemed to have walked on all fours as well because he had mud on them. There were also spikes coming up from his knees now that he walked even more into the light. However the most distinguishing feature was that of the horn coming from the top of his head which seemed very sharp, and something to avoid at all costs. This was all she could tell just by looking at him, but she knew this would not be an easy fight.

Alma stood silently infront of the Adjucha, and snarled back as he questioned her meal. She did not like someone telling her she couldn't do something, and this was angering her even more cause it dealt with her food. She stood as tall as she could on just her hind legs to try and intimidate at least a little. Letting a little bit of saliva drip down from her fangs if she needed it to slow this opponent down. This made her look vicious at the same time without her even realizing what she was doing. While she stood there she brought her tail up behind her, and let it go a little higher than her head.
"I'll ask you one more time girl... What were you doing killing in my territory?!" He yelled upset and looked as though he'd attack if she didn't answer, but this was exactly what Alma was hoping for. "No one kills in Horehey's territory, and then insults him with silence!" He yelled getting so angry he let an accent slip in as he said his name. Jorge looked very upset, and frightened her a little. However she wouldn't let it get to her cause size wasn't everything, and she knew that well being so small compared to most as she just found out.
Alma slouched slightly signaling that she was ready to fight and not to talk. At this Jorge was angered further, and finally charged foward with his horn downward slightly obviously wanting to impale her. As enclosed on striking distance Alma slammed her tail into the ground sending her airborne as she rolled herself foward into a ball. Jorge slammed into a rock formation behind where Alma had been standing a second ago, and stood up angered that he missed his mark. Spinning forward quickly Alma caught him in the shoulder as he looked up to see where she went.
Letting out a howl Jorge swung his opposite fist toward her, and Alma flung herself off of him with her tail. Watching him miss she pointed her tail at him, and fired three scales at the shredded skin on his shoulder. Jorge saw the projectiles coming, and had managed to dodge two as the last one found his leg and exploded. Alma smiled seeing charred skin where it made contact, but she was amazed someone this big dodged her scales. Landing on the ground lightly she readied herself for his retaliation.

Alma watched as Jorge went to charge once more, but brought his body lower this time. Wondering what was going on she raised her tail once more, and readied for an attack. As he grew closer Alma slammed her tail into the ground to go in the air once more, but out of no where Jorge had flung himself upwards as well. This indeed was unexpected to her, and she accommodated by slamming her tail into the side of his head as he came up at her. Using the moment to fling he body out of the way, and she brought her tail away from him firing some more scales into his face.
Alma landed on the ground as she saw a bigger explosion above her, and stood up on her hind legs knowing it would be nearly impossible to dodge them at that range in the air. Suddenly Alma felt a very large pain in her back as she flew a few feet before stopping her body with her tail. Standing up she felt a little more pain rise in her back. "Damn!" She yelled turning around to see Jorge standing where she just was with a series of cuts and burns across his face. "That should've blown your head off?!" She yelled to him in confusion.
Jorge smiled at her comment, and then raised his hand in a very rude way. "Never heard of Sonido huh? I can move in an instant little one... And it's nice to know you can talk you rude little..." He trialed off near the end of his sentence as he used this... sonido once more. Appearing infront of her was his large figure swinging his fist at her hard. Alma crouched down back to all fours dodging this attack, and suddenly got an idea. "Try moving fast now!" She yelled scurrying between his legs, and shredding the inner skin and muscles on her way. After dragging her scales along his legs she fired a couple behind her.

Alma was having more fun than she had ever had in a fight, and was loving every second of this challenge before her. Grinning wide she heard an explosion with a very satisfying scream to confirm impact. Alma panicked a little spinning around quickly; she didn't want to be caught by surprise again. Panting a little she was relieved to she the big lug wasn't moving so much any more. Moistening her fangs she jumped on his back, and sank her fangs in deep on his shoulder. "This ought to stop you completely..." She thought to herself taking her first delicious chunk out of her opponent.
Jumping back to the ground she backed up a bit, and grinned deeply from behind him. "You don't taste too bad." She said laughing a little as some of her scales began to grow back. "Looks like our little fight is pretty much over... Just give up and let me eat you..." Alma said sadistically wanting to completely devour this new meal.
"Looks like you're underestimating me..." Jorge said spitting out dark blood, and climbing back to his feet. "It'll take alot more wounds to take me down..." Showing every ounce of anger in him he let out a massive roar which hurt Alma's ears a little. "Let's just save the whole... I win. Speech for when one of us dies." Jorge laughed leaving no time to spare as he rushed for her again with his horn held low.
"Don't underestimate me either ya big lug!" Alma yelled crouching to all fours again, and began to charge after him as well. This was going to be a funner fight than she thought, and planned on enjoying every second of devouring this b*****d as possible. For now however she had to beat him senseless. Which to her sounded like just about as much fun as eating him.

Alma reached Jorge's body quicker than she even thought she could, and when she got just under his horn area she did a back flip. Being quite a bit smaller than him she had plenty of room to curl herself up. Bringing her tail up hard she slammed the semi-scaled weapon into his chin, and sent him flying into the air. Jumping up to him she slammed her tail into his body again, and sent him even higher into the air. Alma then launched herself of a near by 'tree' and flung herself up above him.
"This is your end you over-sized rodent!" She yelled insulting Jorge just to piss him off before she killed him. Curling into a ball and spinning as fast as she could go Alma flung herself down toward his falling body. A scream was heard from her opponent as she hit him in the abdomen at full speed. His body was shredded every second until it slammed into the ground. Alma stood up on top of him after uncurling, and looked down on him covered in blood.
"Thanks... I needed a bath." She joked to herself as she leaned down to eat him, but was caught by surprise as he flung her back.
"How dare you... under.. est... te... me, you litt..." Jorge stuttered and coughed up blood as he spoke walking to her fallen body. Alma was actually scared now, she had never seen anything will itself back up after such a serious injury. "I'll kil... you i... it's the las... thing..g...g... I do..." He said coughing up more as he walked to her slowly, dripping blood all over the floor.
"Damn... that last hit really hurt... I can't get up..." Alma thought to herself as he approached, and started crawling backwards in shock. He came closer and closer without a break. It was impossible, but she was watching it. He almost had his innards dug out of him, but he continued to walk. This was one seriously powerful hollow, and she couldn't bring herself to stand up.

Alma dragged herself farther away trying to crawl, but was to stunned to really make any progress. She thought about several things, but none of them involved her surviving. She just couldn't bring him down, she tried and tried but he just kept going. "What are you..." She muttered to herself trying to stand up, but this was difficult with her body in shock.
"I told... you no... to underes... me..." Jorge laughed a little as he coughed up blood, and dragged his limp body ever closer to her. His arm impossibly raised up to strike her as he came within striking distance. "This... is you...r... end... little one." Jorge smiled a vicious smile as he went to strike her down one last time.
"Come on you nitwit! Don't just die now, you aren't even injured!" Alma yelled to herself inside her mind. Snapping back into reality Alma realized she had the advantage, and all panic left her mind as she found herself. "No, I told you... this is your end ya big jack.." Alma was cut off by the explosion infront of her as she fired off ten scales into the already shredded abdomen of Jorge.
Blood splattered everywhere as her opponent was blown in two, and his upper body landed next to Alma. Standing up she smiled relieved that she had snapped out of shock before she was crushed for no reason. Going back on all fours she began devouring Jorge's mangled body. "It's about time I get to eatcha..." She thought to herself taking bite after bite of the fallen hollow, and felt her strength growing immensely.

Alma happily enjoyed devouring every tiny scrap of the Adjucha victim. Growing stronger with every bite, and feeling better... restored even. Standing on her hind legs she ate the last piece, and examined her body. All the scales had regrown by now but, "Still the same!" Alma screamed getting tired of her current strength... She wanted to be a Vasto Lorde, one of the few, rarely even heard about.
Her dream kept seeming like just that... a dream. However, Alma would never give up on this one. She would have power. She would be able to take down five Jorges without breaking a sweat. She knew it in her gut, and she would make this dream... a reality.
Standing tall Alma let out a primal roar, and yelled. "If there are anymore Adjucha, get the hell out here and die!" She wanted to kill, to feed, to grow, and she wanted it now. Repeating this cry for battle three times, louder, and more fierce each time. Standing upright with her tall behind her head she awaited a combatant worthy of her time.

Alma waited awhile growing more impatient every second, and hungrier as well. She had been waiting a good half hour, and wandering around devouring random menos occasionally yelling for more competition. Finally she saw what she had been waiting for, and Alma raised her tail behind her as two Adjucha emerged infront of her. "Finally, I thought you were all too chicken to actually fight me..." She said moving slowly towards them, and grinning. She wanted to attack them now, but she figured she'd let them say whatever they wanted before she devoured them.
"Actually... we wanted to fight you after you had a rest... We wouldn't want this to end too quickly..." Said the first Adjucha as the second walked out infront of him. The first one seemed to resemble some strange beetle, and she wasn't sure if the wings were capable of lifting him off the ground. The second was definitely smaller, but looked to have more muscle than the first. He was also a beetle like form, but you could tell this one's wings were meant for flight. "Well, in all honesty I wanted to attack you right then, but my little brother seemed to have a big problem with that..." The smaller one said as he grew closer to her with an irritated look on his face.
"So... you're telling me you're the older one... For some reason I kind of expected that..." Alma said thinking to herself as she flicked her tail back up realizing it had relaxed a bit. She had been distracted a little by the conversation which by the looks of he bigger one's face he was trying to get her like that. "Well, are we gonna fight or do you have to do your hair big guy?" She said sarcastically to the younger brother mocking him for not attacking earlier.
"Actually..." The little brother started talking, but cut himself off as he charged at her. Alma had barely noticed his assault as she slammed her tail into the ground, and flew straight up out of his way. Twisting her body she began spinning, and flew towards the big brother. However, unexpectedly she was stopped by the big brother's strength. Realizing this she flicked her tail hard as his head making him stammer and drop her. "damn..." She mumbled realizing this wouldn't be as easy as the last guy, and she couldn't attack the small one with her spin.

Standing between them in an unfavorable situation Alma was a little worried about the outcome of this one. Thinking carefully she turned towards the bigger one, and raised her tail. Flicking her tail downwards she flung a few scales at the older brother, and darted towards the younger one. She heard a grunt and satisfying explosion from behind her as she slid between the younger brother's legs avoiding his fists. As she passed him she flung her body directly upwards she shredded his back, and began to spin as she reached his head. Hearing him scream she slammed her tail on his head and used the momentum from the spin to launch herself in the air.
"You almost got me you little..." The older brother said surprisingly unscathed, but was cut off by the little brother's scream. "She got me pretty bad... bro..." He stuttered stumbling forward as Alma reached the ground again. She found it rather amusing how bad she had shredded his back, and thought about taking a bite out of him as she smelled the fresh blood. "You guys aren't really that good huh..." She mocked them as she raised her tail up hiding it behind her, and started charging a cero.
"You just got lucky... You won't get us again like that..." The older brother said looking at his brother as he got closer to him. Alma hunched down a bit, and was almost on all fours. Seeing this the brothers charged her raising their fists at the same time. Alma had succesfully tricked them, and slipped between them dodging both punches. Stopping behind them she pointed her tail at the little brother, and fired the cero directly into his damaged back. After firing it she continued to move forward before turning to see the damage. There was a gaping hole where the guy's back was just a minute ago. The older brother looked insanely furious as he clutched his brother, and turned toward her with reiatsu lashing out around him.

"Oops... I think I gave him a boo boo..." Alma teased laughing insanely as she smiled with the joy of an easy kill. She raised her tail looking at the older brother as he lightly placed his sibling on the ground. Standing slowly she watched with amazement barely believing her eyes. "Wha... what the hell?!" She yelled as the older brother began increasing in size, and fire seeped out from under his wings. "You... you killed him... You WILL die!" He yelled as he raised himself into the air flapping his wings as fire covered the ground. She might have made a mistake killing the bigger one first, and was relieve she only had to fight him.
The older brother's muscle were now huge, and he had grown a large horn. "What's up with these guys and horns..." She thought to herself as she gathered up reiatsu into her tail charging a cero. She fired it immediately aiming for his right arm, and then rushed forward. Watching him dodge it she could tell he was used to flying, and then noticed a huge wave of fire. Jumping straight into the air she dodged it, and didn't notice in time that he had attacked again. Receiving a hard punch to the stomach she hit the rock behind her. Stumbling up she coughed a little, and raised her tail behind her instinctively.
"I'll burn you alive for what you did!" The older brother yelled to her building up a giant fire ball between his hands. Alma wasn't sure how to combat this, but thought carefully on what to do next. Watching him raise his hands he lifted the fireball above his head, and flung it toward her. Rushing forward she slipped under the fire ball, and jumped up behind him as it exploded. Spinning quickly she tried to shred him like his brother, but as she figured he had dodged it. Expecting this however she launched about fifteen scales from her back and tail. Landing on the ground she turned around in time to watch the scales slam into him, and erupt violently sending him into a nearby rock tree.

Laughing she grinned wide watching him fall to the ground, but her joy was soon interrupted as he got up like nothing happened. "H... how the... All of them hit you...?!" She mumbled stunned as he flew back up into the sky. "Little girl... you barely even cracked my skin..." He said seeming to not even care any more. Panicking a little she remember not to let herself get psyched out this time. "Whatever... Guess I just have to hit you more..." Alma positioned her tail behind her back from view charging another cero, and panting slightly. "I better finish this soon..." She thought to herself feeling subconsciously how many scales had grown back, and coming to the conclusion that only the most recent where still gone.
This time the brother's hand lit on fire as he rushed toward her, and they reached each other quickly as she charged as well. Meeting his hand with her tail they collided in a stand off, but she had hoped for this as she pointed the glowing red tip at his shoulder. "Good bye..." She laughed blasting a hole in his shoulder as he tried to dodge, but the explosion sent them both flying. Catching herself she left claw marks in the ground as she skidded to a stop. Watching him get up Alma cussed in annoyance, and brought her tail up behind her head.
"You little... wench..." He mumbled grabbing his shoulder as he charged a fireball in his free hand. Alma didn't find this very frightening, but she felt a twinge of pain in her tail. "Damn... he burnt me..." She said aloud shooting some scales from behind her head out of annoyance of the pain he caused. The brother easily dodged these scales, but they erupted next to him and cracked his face a little. Throwing the fire ball he followed up with about four more, and then clutched his shoulder tightly.

Alma saw the fireballs coming towards her, and dodged four of them as them came jumping left an right. However the last one came close to the fourth, and she had accidentally jumped into it. Slamming into her stomach she fell to the ground, and stumbled back up looking into the air. "Crap..." She mumbled seeing him make a massive fire ball, about twice the size of the first, and she leaned down low on all fours. Charging a cero she panted hard growing tired from the continuous fighting. She had to kill him now, or things would go badly and she wouldn't make it any further towards her goal.
As she was jumping into the air he had noticed, and threw the fireball directly at her. Getting closer and closer to it she fired the cero into the fire ball, and watched them implode from the massive collision. She took this opportunity to start spinning, and flew toward the brother at an amazing speed. He was panicking as she approached him, and didn't have time to react. She stopped the spin slamming her tail through his chest, and grinning to his face as she launched scales directly into his body. After this she pulled her tail out, and slammed it into his chest knocking herself away. Spinning upright she watched a sight that made her smile wide with excitement. She watched the brother explode from the inside out, and leaving a hole in his chest.
Alma landed on all fours on the ground as the brother's lifeless body hit the ground bouncing slightly. Standing up straight she brought her tail up licking the blood off it as she walked towards his body. Turning his face toward his brother she walked to the other corpse, and smiled widely. "If there's any ounce of your worthless life left... watch me eat your brother... This is what you get for burning me you insignificant b*****d..." She said kneeling down as she began to eat the little brother, and felt more satisfied than ever. Growing stronger and faster with each bite Alma grew more content knowing she still had an entire meal left. Finishing up the last bite she slowly walked towards the bigger brother, and got down on all fours slowly sniffing the brother's blood. "I'm going to enjoy eating you..." She said standing up and kicking his lifeless body, and then lifted him up.

Alma walked with the body until she found a 'tree' with a decent size whole in it, but only big enough for her she sat down. Looking back down at the body she had just placed infront of her she smiled, and latched onto a piece of flesh with her claws tearing it off with ease. She began to eat the latest kill, and slowly feeling stronger and stronger. This meal was making her strength increase more than any past meal, and she loved it. "I guess you had some use in your miserable life... Well, your death anyway." She said laughing threw a mouthful, and grabbed another chunk. "I know I'm close I can feel it... Soon, I'll become a Vasto lorde... soon..." Continuing to devour the body she sat for about a half hour, and thought this wouldn't been easier with his old form. Punching what was left of his body she cussed at him for making her eat this much.
Finishing up the meal she stood and stretched thinking about all the fun she had today. "Well, guess I should get some sleep before I find an even stronger guy to eat... Hopefully smaller... " Alma said jokingly to herself as she climbed into the hollowed tree. Curling up into a ball she got comfy, and began drifting off to sleep. Letting herself absorb all the strength she had gained today, and dreaming happy dreams of transforming. Sleeping through the night should be easy, and she would wake rested and even more powerful.
