Yarrow: *Walking along the beach by Kevin and Ryo's, holding his sandals in his hands so he can feel the sand under his feet*

Vala: *Keeping a distance between her and the water, though sees very interested in the rocks she sees*

Thor: *Playing a game of cat and mouse with the water. Chasing it as it recedes, then darting back as new waves crash in*

Kevin: -Had come out for a walk of his own earlier that day and his on his way back home, but stops when he spots Yarrow and the kids-

Kia: -Is walking along the wet sand, loving the feeling of her paws getting wet by the incoming waves-

Aire: -Sticks close to the upper part of the beach since she doesn't want to get wet, but keeps an eye on the others since she finds their play amusing-

Airen: -Carefully eyes the incoming waves as he sticks close to Yarrow. Kind of fearful that the water will take him out to sea since he has seen a few movies-

Yarrow: *Smiles at his kids, then his ears perk when he spots Kevin. Lifs a hand and waves* Hey

Thor: *Sparks when the water touches his paws and hops back like it had slapped at him*

Vala: *Picks up a piece of green sea glass and trots over to Aire to show off her find as her tails wag*

Kevin: -Shly waves back- Hey there Yarrow, and...6 kids?

Airen: -Ears fall back as he quickly shuffles to hide behind Yarrow's legs. Peeks out to eye Kevin-

Aire: -Ears perk as she notices Vala walk over- What is that Vala?

Kia: -Raises a brow at Thor- Did the water bite you or something?

Yarrow: Well 5, the 6th one is back home with Erik *Looks down at Airen* This is you Uncle Kevin, Airen. He's your dad's brother

Vala: I don't... *Trails off when she notices Kevin. Ears flop back in a shy manner as she shifts to hide behind Aire*

Thor: *Glowers at Kia* No, it just surprised me is all *Looks over at Kevin and looks him over*

Kevin: Oh, I thought number 6 might have gotten lost or something. -Looks down at Airen and smiles- So, how have things been lately?

Airen: -Shyly nods and mumbles a hello-

Aire: -Looks over at Kevin, then back at Vala- I think he is nice if mama is talking to him..I hope...

Kia: ....He looks like Papa..only shorter...and more girly...

Yarrow: Hectic, but I would't have it any other way *Brushes a couple of his tails over Airen* What about you?

Vala: 8Sets the sea class down* Should we go see?

Thor: *Snickers at the girly comment then trots over to see what's going on*

Kevin: Up and down, but I'm hoping things stay up for a while, or I think I might just snap.

Airen: -Smiles and curls in to Yarrow's tails-

Aire: -Nods and follows after Thor- I want to see who he is.

Kia: -Grins and follows after her brother-

Yarrow: I know how that feels.. *Fidgets* I saw what happened, I'm uh, glad you're alright *Sits down beside Airen*

Vala: *Hesitates before shyly following her siblings*

Thor: *Plops right down in front of Kevin and doesn't even bother to hide that he's sizing the other male up. Uncomfortable with a strange male talking with his mom and being around his sisters*

Kevin: -Nods- Thanks, I'm glad too. Nothing happned to Erik and you, did it? -Looks down at Thor- Is something wrong?

Aire: -Smiles at Vala- It is okay Vala. Mama won't let anything happen.

Kia: -Whispers to Thor- Don't let him step on you.

Yarrow: No, we were left alone for once *Reaches over to fun a hand through Arien's hair* Stop that Thor, he's not here to hurt anyone, he's your Uncle Kevin

Thor: *Snorts* I could take him down before he could *Relaxes a fraction at the mention of Kevin being family* I'm watching you *Trots back to the water, glancing back at Kevin every now and then*

Vala: *Nods but sticks close to Yarrow* Uncle?

Kevin: ...O-okay then. -Turns back to Yarrow- He seems protective, even against family. -smiles down at Vala and nods- Yes, I'm your uncle.

Airen: -Smiles and leans in to Yarrow's hand. Whispers- Why uncle look like Papa?

Kia: -Rolls her eyes at Thor- Well that was nice of you.

Aire: Why didn't we meet uncle before?

Yarrow: I'm not sure where he get it from... *Scratches behind Airen's ear* It's because he's you dad's brother *Nods* You haven't seen him before because we never ran into him Aire. You guys have a couple of uncles you haven't met. I have another brother, and Kevin's husband. *Looks up at Kevin* Ryo would be their uncle, right?

Thor: *Huffs* We don't know him, and it's not like I bit him or anything

Vala: *Smiles shyly back, then slowly edges over to sniff at Kevin. Feeling somewhat at ease since he looks like her father*

Kevin: Uh, yeah I think he would be since I am married to him. Then there are our kids who would be their cousins. -Thinks- I know Yetaru and Revien are living at the main building...I have no idea where Jena and Jonsi are though.

Aire: -Trots over and circles Kevin to get a better look at him. Ears flick at all the names- Ryo?

Kia: But you would bite him if you had a reason to, and you could
get to know him now.

Yarrow: I've met Revien and Yetaru, never met the other two though. *Watches Aire* Ryo is your Uncle Kevin's mate. He's almost as tall as your dad, with black spikey hair. Him and your Uncle Kevin live around here

Thor: If he gives me a reason to bite him, then he's done something wrong. *Sits down far enough away that he can observe Kevin, his sensitive hearing still able to hear the conversation*

Vala: *Sits down at Kevin's feet* Will we get to meet Uncle Ryo and your kids?

Kevin: Well -Ears flick- I'm positive you will meet Ryo, maybe Yetaru and Revien. Yetaru kind of looks like me, and Revien looks like your uncle Ryo. I'm not sure about Jena and Jonsi though, sorry.

Arien: -Peeks out from under Yarrow's tails- What about Grandma's and Grandpa's?

Aire: Is uncle Ryo nice?

Kia: Either that or you are going out of your mind from paranoia.

Vala: Oh *Ears drop a little in disappointment*

Yarrow: *His own ears drop* I'm sure you'll meet you grandma Dita, and I don't think your father's parents live here... *Smiles a little again* Your Uncle Ryo is very nice

Thor: I'm not paranoid. I'm cautious

Kevin: -Frowns at Vala's disappointment- I'm sorry. I really wish you could meet everyone, I do, but I really don't know where they are running around at...

Airen: Oh, okay then...-Frowns- Are you sad Mama?

Aire: What about your brothers, mama?

Kia: -Trots over and settles next to Thor- Why so cautious my brother?

Vala: That's okay.. Oh *Ears perk, trots off to find her sea glass*

Yarrow: *Forces a smile* No, I'm fine Airen *Tilts his head* My brothers are nice too *Nods* You've got a nice family Aire

Thor: *Blushes a little as he mumbles his answer*

Kevin: Oh, oh what? -Ears perk in interest-

Aire: I think Vala is going to go get the thing she found.

Airen: Okay Mama. -Curls on the ground and snuggles close-

Kia: What? I didn't quite get that.

Vala: *Trots back with her sea glass and drops it at Kevin's feet. Her tails indiviually wag like little snakes as she smiles up at Kevin*

Yarrow: *Pets Airen and smiles slowly becomes a real one*

Thor: I said that I don't like it when mom cries! *Tails spark*

Kevin: -Crouches down and picks up the glass- Oh, this is very pretty.

Airen: -Purrs and playfully nips at Yarrow's fingers-

Aire: What is it uncle Kevin?

Kia: -Jumps back at the sparking- You saw mama cry?

Vala: *Smile grows as Kevin accepts it, wiggles over to sit next to Aire*

Yarrow: *Laughs and pokes Airen's nose*

Thor: *Looks at Kia, sighs and the sparking stops as he mentally counts backwards from 10* Yeah, he cries when it rains. That's why he locks himself away in the his and dad's bedroom

Kevin: This is sea glass. They are very pretty and people like to collect them. Oh -Blinks as he remembers something- Yarrow, it is true Erik and you got engaged?

Aire: Sea glass? -Turns to Vala- Do you think there is more?

Airen: -Playfully growls as he rolls on to his back and clings to the hand to continue his nibbling-

Kia: Oh..I guess I never noticed that before.

Yarrow: *Giggles and wiggles his fingers* Oh *Blushes because he forgot to tell Kevin, holds up his hand to show the ring* Yeah

Vala: I don't know *Looks back in the direction they came from* Want to go look?

Thor: *Mumbles* That's because we're not supposed to know

Kevin: Oh, congrats on that. I was wondering when he was going to ask you.

Airen: -Unclings from the hand and hides back in Yarrow's tails as a seagull flies by-

Aire: -Smiles and nods- Sure!

Kia: I wonder why mama cries when it rains...

Yarrow: *Tilts his head* You knew he was going to ask? *Looks up at the bird* It's alright Airen, it's just a bird

Vala; *Smiles and trots back over to where she found the sea glass*

Thor: I don't know, but I don't like it. *Scowls at nothing in particular* I don't want anyone hurting my family

Yarrow: *Walking around in the park, trying to get used to how it will feel when his kids are gone*

Jazz: -Is dressed in some torn jeans and a dark blue hoodie instead of his normal attire. Slowly rocks on one of the swings, his hoodie's hood up to hide his tired face as he stares at his sneakers*

Yarrow: *Comes to a stop when he spots Jazz, not recognizing him. He looks around before cautiously walking over* Uhm, excuse me...are you alright?

Jazz: Huh? -Is broken from his thoughts by Yarrow's voice. Quickly wipes his eyes since he had been crying a little while before and then looks up at Yarrow- Uh, yeah, yeah, I'm fine.

Yarrow: *Eyes narrow as he tries to place Jazz's face* I know you...

Jazz: -Blinks and looks confused- Y-you do?..I don't think I have ever met you, or at least not directly.

Yarrow: *Scratches his head* I know I've met you somewhere...Could you remove you hoodie please?

Jazz: Oh, uh..yeah, sure. -Hesitates a moment and then pulls his hood down-

Yarrow: *Eyes Jazz's hair, snaps his fingers* Your Erik's friend

Jazz: -Blinks and then smiles a little- Yeah, that's me. Who are you?

Yarrow: I'm Yarrow *Fidgets* You probably don't remember me because I was just a teen when we met, and looked very different

Jazz: Yarrow? So then..you are Erik's..fiance..right?

Yarrow: *Nods and plays with his engagement ring while blushing a little* Yeah. And you're Jazz, his best friend?

Jazz: -Nods- Yeah, that's my title. What are you doing out here?

Yarrow: Just walking around and trying to relax, you?

Jazz: -Shrugs- I've just been thinking about my life and this and that in it.

Yarrow: Thinking about it in a good way? Or a bad one?

Jazz: I guess..a bit of both? Though the bad out weighs the good in all of it.

Yarrow: *Frowns, moves to sit on the swing next to Jazz* Something happen?

Jazz: Well.. -Looks down at his now ringless finger- ..Niraj and I called off the engagement and broke-up..

Yarrow: *Blinks* Ohh, I'm sorry

Jazz: ..Yeah..it hurt but...I guess it was for the best..-shrugs and sighs- He's Niraj though..so..he'll get it over it.

Yarrow: What about you? Will you get over it?

Jazz: -Taps his feet as he looks back down at them- ..I will..eventually -shrugs-

Yarrow: How long were you two together?

Jazz: -Sighs as he looks up and counts back- About...a little over a year I suppose, give or take.

Yarrow: I can't imagine how you must feel...

Jazz: I suppose it is like...watching things fall apart piece by piece until you have to open your eyes, give in and let your heart be smashed by a hammer cause it is basically the only option you have.

Yarrow: When do you bring out the glue and start putting things back together?

Jazz: I don't know. I guess when life tells me it is time.

Yarrow: Hopefully that'll be soon *Chews on his bottom lip* Uhm, if you ever can't find Erik and need to talk or something, I could fill in for him. I mean I know we don't know each other and there's stuff you wouldn't feel comfortable telling me, but I'd like it if we got to know each other...

Jazz: -Looks up with slight surprise and confusion, then smiles a bit- Thanks Yarrow, that means a lot to me.

Yarrow: *Ears flick* It does? That's good right?

Jazz: -Nods- Yes Yarrow, it is a very good thing.

Yarrow: *Smiles a little when pushes himself to swing back and forth* How do these things work?

Jazz: The swing? You basically kick your legs back and forth and the swing will slowly start lifting you higher and higher in to the air.

Yarrow: Like this? *Kicks his legs like a Can-Can dancer*

Jazz: -Shakes his head in amusement- No, no. Here, watch me. -Settles in to the swing and kicks off to start swinging-

Yarrow: *Watches Jazz, then tries to mimic his movements*

Jazz: There you go. Just keep doing that and you will go higher.

Yarrow: *Warily eyes the top of the swing set* I can only go so high though, right?

Jazz: Yeah, the chains will make sure you don't go too high.

Yarrow: But like, I go up and over the swing set, right?

Jazz: ...I've never seen something like that happen before.

Yarrow: So it can't happen?

Jazz: I don't think so, unless physics and gravity mess up.
