It was just another night in Destiny City.
Unfortunately for a particular Guardian Cat, “just another night” entailed scouring the cold and busy streets for a single face. A face she did not know and could not describe, but which she would recognize the moment she saw it. It might have been easy if it were early morning, when the city was peaceful and sleeping. She was not so fortunate. It was ust past rush hour, and the main thoroughfare was a busy, bumbling place full of honking cars and busy pedestrians. The sidewalk upon which she padded was slick with ice, further complicating the already difficult task of weaving her way through the busy labyrinth of legs. The small cat dodged heels and toes, carefully weaving through a maze of shopping bags and rolling luggage.
All this trouble for nothing more than a feeling. An instinct which only others like herself could understand. It was a force that made the fur on the back of her neck stand on end and the tips of her ears tingle as though asleep. It was almost magnetic, pulling her towards a senshi in need. A senshi not yet awakened. A senshi they would need if they were ever going to defeat the Negaverse.
The Negaverse.
It had been only the previous day that she had felt the explosive energy coming from Barren Pines, an energy which supported the worst of all assumptions. It was a power that was unmistakable and undeniable, as vile and terrifying as the woman who Ophelia was sure must have manifested. Even Charonite didn't have that kind of power, which left only one option; Beryl.
That reminder urged her forward, through crowded streets and busy sidewalks. It pushed her to find the girl she sought, a girl who she could feel close at hand. The name had not come yet, but she knew the sphere; the Senshi of Healing was surely close at hand.

To be frank, Ji-Yeon Nae's life was bland. Day in and day out, school, prayers, volunteering, and ice-skating. Even more since the move to Destiny City. All her life-long relationships, gone, friends, lovers, and a handful of enemies. In this city, she felt like a nobody. Just another girl in school, blending into a massive crowd of orange and white uniforms. Just another high-schooler volunteering their time, whether for sincere purposes, or just brown-nosing for college. Just another female ice-skater that loves the atmosphere. Just another civilian attending church daily, seeking guidance. The only place she felt truly at home, was with her family, and beloved companion, Yuna. But ever since the move, work consumed both of her adoring parents, and Ji-Yeon felt lost.
She wanted motivation, longed for it, she thrived on it really. And what was she doing tonight? Simply, nothing. Ji-Yeon had ran out of the house, sobbing, for no reason. Everything depressed her nowadays, it was probably that cursed puberty, but now, she walked around the streets of the city, lost. Foreign lights, foreign people, at times, she felt like she didn't understand who she was. Felt like she had left the old Ji-Yeon back in her home-town. In such a bustling and bumbling city, no one bothered to turn an eye to a sobbing female, though she did receive quite a few stares, but no helping hands when she had tripped over a curb, landing on cold sleet. It was dramatic really, crying, clothes wet, but, at times like this, was when she got her real thinking done.
Her parents had always told her she was destined to be something, someone special. But all parents said that. Ji-Yeon just had always been convinced that it was true, that in her fate, lie something incredible...But that was foolish talk to her now.

Daniela was being smothered.
Her parents meant well - she knew they did. They were her parents, and they loved her. She loved them, too, with the deep and fierce kind of love that only came from family, but that didn't mean that she particularly appreciated them all the time. Since awakening as a senshi, her life had found somewhat new meaning, as corny as that seemed. She'd found that she had powers others didn't, even if hers weren't all that spectacular, and she'd known that she needed to use them for good. More, she wanted to, because she had people in her life that she loved. She wanted to protect her family and friends, and even people she didn't know, from the horrors that lurked in the night, from terrible things that they didn't even know existed.
And yet...
And yet, here she was, powerless to even do the little that she'd been managing so far, because her arm was broken and she was without any allies.
Her face was red, both from the cold and the temperamental tears she'd shed on her solitary walk. It wasn't fair, she raged to herself, that she ended up all alone. Maybe she was too proud, and maybe she tried to do too much herself, but it was only because she wanted to be stronger. She wanted to be able to do things on her own, wanted to be someone that others could turn to for help, strength. In the end, she was just the one that ended up being saved, and it tore at her. Pride and spirit; she was beginning to wonder, even, if she was really cut out for this senshi thing at all.
Rubbing her good hand under her eyes, she sniffled loudly, scratching her cheeks with her heavy gloves. She was beginning to think that no, she really wasn't. They'd made a mistake.
Sailor Magellan, senshi of powder, was a mistake because she couldn't do anything on her own, and when she tried to help, people died.
Her shoulders slammed into someone, and she stumbled to the side, looking up with temper on her face. "Watch it!" But her words were lost in the throng of people, people too busy to care that they'd jostled a teenage girl with her arm in a cast, people too busy to notice that the sun was going down and they could be risking their very lives simply to get where they were going.
"Stupid people," she muttered, feeling angry and disappointed in the entire world. It wasn't like her, not really, but she'd been through a lot lately. A lot.
And she really had no one to turn to, no one at all.
Giving up the attempt to have a peaceful walk, Dani all but threw herself on a park bench, wincing when she felt the cold even through her jeans. It was getting late, and she knew she should be heading home. She would, soon.
She just didn't want her parents to see her like this. They'd wonder, and god, she'd given them enough to wonder about lately.

Apparently Ophelia wasn't the only one having difficulty navigating through the cluttered streets and busy sidewalks that evening. She watched with a frown – or as close as a cat could get to frowning – as one young woman went down upon the cold sidewalk. Perhaps it was meant as a reminder of the cruel world in which they lived, perhaps it was simply born of the busy holiday season, but it stung at Ophelia's heart to watch to watch the response of those around her. Some were polite enough to skirt around the edges, others simply stepping over her as though she were a decaying log across a forest path. Whether they went over or around her, though, one thing was consistent; not a single one offered a hand to help her up.
It was a heartbreaking thing to see.
With a gentle sigh, Ophelia made her way towards the girl. Her mission was important – perhaps of the utmost important, given recent events – but she could spare a few moments to cheer up a sad young girl. What kind of guardian would she be if she didn't have even the heart for that?
With a few jumps from the ground to a post box, post box to the top of a parked car, and parked car to street corner, Ophelia landed on the cold, wet pavement just in front of Ji-Yeon's head with a soft, convincing, “Mrow?” It was slightly awkward and forced, but leagues ahead of Astraea's Meow Mix jingle style cat noises. Ophelia took pride in that fact as she lifted up onto her hind legs, placing a front paw on either side of the girl's head. She bumped Ji-Yeon's forehead gently with her own, and was surprised with the realization that came to her as she gazed into those deep brown eyes, ringed red from crying and glistening with tears.
This was the girl she sought. The name came immediately, along with a rush of knowledge that she was still getting used to. This was Sirona, the senshi of Healing. She, like so many others, was but a girl. A wet, clumsy, crying girl, and yet one of the senshi upon whom the Earth depended.
Astraea would have been shitting bricks.
“Mrow!” She said again, batting at the girl's nose with a paw before hopping up onto the top of her head, over her back, and onto the sidewalk by her side. Ophelia nudged Ji-Yeon's ribcage with her nose, as though insisting she get up.
Unfortunately, Daniela would not be so fortunate as to be greeted by a small, kind-hearted guardian cat. It was something much darker that waited for her in the park, watching her from the shadows. It was, in fact, little more than a shadow itself. A wispy, shapeless monster at masqueraded as the shadow of a bush, a tree, even a lamp post as it snaked along the ground, working its way towards Daniela.
A shadow youma could smell a starseed from a mile away.
Only when it hid in the shadow of the very bench that she sat on did it begin to take form. That shadow cast by the nearby lamp pulled away from the bench as though the light were suddenly being moved further and further away, elongating and stretching out across the mostly empty park. Shadows that had once looked like bench legs pulled away into arms and legs, and with one heaving motion that made no more sound than a gentle sigh, the youma pulled itself from the ground.
Flat shadow became three dimensional, growing more and more opaque until Daniela was staring at a humanoid form with limbs that were too long and too thin. It's skin was not just black, but was the color of the utter absence of light. A color that no pencil or ink could convey. It seemed to suck in the light around it, darkening the park and sending the few inhabitants screaming for their lives. It had no eyes, no face save for a mouth made of a row of brilliant white specks that were supposed to resemble teeth.
Youma never were very good at mimicking human shade, and this one was no different. It was too thin, too twisted, with limbs that bent entirely the wrong way. It looked like something from the Nightmare Before Christmas, made out of darkness.
Siiiiiiiiigh....
It loomed in the center of the park, and it's dark, thin head slowly swiveled towards Daniela.

"Mrow?" Ji-Yeon pried away her wet hands from her eyes, out of pure curiousity. What stood before her, was probably the most unique feline she had ever seen, and would ever see. She didn't like getting too poetic, but really, the cat's eyes held so much wisdom and depth to them, and the shade of blue was simply captive. Its' fur was a luxurious shade of creamy brown, along with a large necklace with beads that matched her eyes. What struck Ji-Yeon the most, was not the fact that the cat had such taste in accessorizing, but the golden star stuck smack in the middle of its' forehead. That in itself, was enough to cheer Ji-Yeon up, but the cat did more than that. Standing on its' two back legs, the cat put two of its' paws on both sides of Ji-Yeon's head. Seeing as her head was in a very low position, it was fairly easy for the feline to bump her star-tattooed fore-head with Ji-Yeon's very own. However, as they met, a strange sensation ran through her, mysterious, foreign, yet nostalgic. It was weird; but Ji-Yeon giggled at this whole scene. "Mrow!" the cat repeated, more like an order than a question now, pawing at Ji-Yeon's nose. The cat was an athletic one, for sure, it jumped on her head, over her back, and onto the pavement once again. With its' perfectly-shaped cat-nose, the cat pushed her stomach lightly, as if in encouragement.
The idea of listening to a cat was ridiculous, and she felt like some-what of a lunatic. But, at least she'd passed the dramatic scene, thanks to the cat. It seemed to want something from Ji-Yeon however, and she seriously considered if the feline could be a stray. She decided against it however, for who would throw out such one of luxury? Ji-Yeon bent down, putting her elbows on her knees, she curiously stared at it. Hmm. "What's wrong?" she softly inquired to it, scratching one of it's perfectly shaped ears.

As was the usual course for a fifteen year-old girl stuck in her own pity party, Dani didn't notice, at first, as the scenery began to change. She was much too busy staring at the bright pink tips of her sneakers, mouth twisted into a frown, to pay attention to what was going on around her. In the spirit of her life sucking far worse in the recent months than it ever had before, however, she wasn't even allowed to sulk in peace; things changed, as they always did, as screams broke through the solitude of the early evening.
Head snapping up, she looked around wildly, hand clenched into a fist at her side as though it would somehow help. There hadn't been many people milling about in the park, but the few she'd seen upon sitting down were long gone, the only evidence of their presence apparent in the lingering echos of their terror. In truth, the only one remaining was Dani, who hastily stood, wheeling around to face the threat that she imagined could only be one thing.
Youma. Chest tightening at the thought, she nevertheless stood her ground, forgetting for a moment that she'd just been wallowing in the remnants of her ego, doubting herself as she so seldom did. The moment she had recognized the enemy she'd forgotten everything else except the desire to defeat it, the desire to win.
She was halfway through the motion of reaching for her henshin pen when she remembered that she couldn't, not with a broken arm - she wouldn't stand a chance, not in a million years. Not against something as big and sinister looking as that, not when she didn't even have attack magic to begin with.
If she fought, she was going to die. Hesitating only a moment longer, she shouted, "Come and get me, b*****d!" and spun, tucking her broken arm to her chest as she sprinted. Maybe it wasn't the best plan, but it was all she had. Surely someone was out patrolling. Surely someone would have heard all those people scream, would come looking for the source.
She didn't like having to put her faith in someone else, but considering the most she could do at the moment was run like hell, it looked like she was going to have to.

If there was one cat noise Ophelia was quite good at, it was purring. It was an involuntary reaction, really, a low thrum that resonated through her small body as she leaned into the scratches. It was a brief reprieve from the worrisome times that had befallen Destiny City, with brief being the key word. She had only a moment to enjoy the simple things in life. A moment to sit there, appreciating those final moments during which Ji-Yeon could be a normal teenage girl. Just another human, living a human life and doing human things. Crying, running away, living in a world where fears were as simple as bad grades and petty schoolyard squabbles.
Ophelia felt the youma as soon as it had moved to take shape, her small body tensing, head snapping sharply towards the direction of the park, only one black from where they now stood. She had felt the senshi there, too, awake but not henshined. She sensed her sphere – Powder? In the name of Serenity, they really did have a sphere for everything – and knew her name with only a moments focus.
Magellan. Her name was Magellan, Senshi of Powder, and for reasons beyond Ophelia's understanding she was not taking on her Senshi form. There was no sudden burst of energy, no glaring mental bells and whistles that spoke of a Senshi's transformation. There was only the sudden spike of fear and anger and worry that told her one thing; Magellan was in dire trouble.
The screaming began. It came like a wave, roaring down the block as those few men and women who had run from the park alerted others. With all of the news coverage following the Senshi and Negaverse, it came as no surprised when a few screaming escapees became a small stampede. It took only moments for the street to become a virtual ghost town, only a few stragglers remaining behind to stare curiously at the narrow road that lead into the City Park. It was with a sigh – a strange sigh, considering that cats did not sigh – that she turned her attention back to Ji-Yeon. There was no time for pulling her into a secluded alleyway or some abandoned warehouse, no time at all for subtlety.
Time to change her life.
Where the henshin pen actually came from was a mystery to end all mysteries. Perhaps it appeared out of some magical senshi subspace, perhaps Ophelia turned her head and hacked up up like a furball. All that could be said for sure was that there was a flash of light, some sparkles, and an impressive backflip from the small feline, before a pink and white tube rolled across the ground. It came to a stop at Ji-Yeon's feet, and suddenly all of the knowledge any mystery in those wide blue eyes would be explained.
“Listen to me,” the suddenly-able-to-speak cat began, talking over any questions or protests the young woman might have, “I will explain this to you later, but for now, we can't waste time. There is a life in danger. Hold that up and say 'Sirona Power, Make-Up!'”
Meanwhile, the shadow youma had twisted it's head to face Dani. There were others, smaller and less important, running from the park. There was a feral instinct to give chase, to stretch to long limbs and rake them in in one bloody harvest. However, there was a mission here. A purpose, and it shone brightly from the chest of the girl who now stood, taunting the creature as though either fearless or stupid. Or both. The youma didn't care which.
One arm lifted, but the creature did not move. Instead, the arms shot forward like as though elastic, snaking across the ground with impressive speed. Long, thin fingers wiggled with anticipation, snapping closed just as the hand came within reach of Dani's ankle. The youma was rooted to the ground, bound to the spot in which it had materialized, but it's limbs had such elasticity and speed that it sought to drag the girl back.
Kicking and screaming, preferably.

For the first time in days, no, weeks, Ji-Yeon felt peaceful. Away from all the distractions of school, home, and...everything. However, serenity was quickly broken. The feline's ears suddenly perked out of her grasp, and leaned towards the direction of impending doom; a stampede of terrified civilians. The two of them were caught in the crossfire, and strangers that had just been laughing happily threw down whatever they were holding, taking advantage of the situation to panic. Just a minute or two ago, the packed town was now...empty. Shops had closed, and lamp-posts flickered. What had happened in the park? Could it be, a senshi? Just as she was brain-storming, brilliant rays of light caught Ji-Yeon's pupils, fading in the next second. The fancy feline did a breath-taking backflip, one the most talented cheerleader would applaud of, and eyes widened, as a pen of the sort, popped out of thin air. It was composed of three colors, an obnoxious pink, a cleansing white, and dull gold. It looked like a normal pen of course, but instead of a point, it was shaped into a bulb of a sort. Attached to the back of it, was a pink cross, bordered by gold. Inside the bulb, hovered an astrologic sign of a sort. "W-w-what's this?" Of course, the last thing Ji-Yeon had expected, was a response, and if the feline were to, it would have been a meow.
"Listen to me. I will explain this to you later, but for now, we can't waste time. There is a life in danger. Hold that up and say 'Sirona Power, Make-Up!'" the cat rushed, blue eyes flashing back and forth to her and the direction of the park. This was, there was no other word for it; crazy. Ji-Yeon should've said something, protested. It wasn't her responsibility, was it? Or maybe it was. Of course, she had always been a helper since she was born, but since the second the cat spoke those words, something new flowed through her veins. A connection, was it? A similar urgency to whomever it was that needed her help. With a determined nod, Ji-Yeon picked up the stick, and somehow, she knew, what to do. Raising it in the air, she yelled loudly, stretching the words, "Sirona Power, Make-Up!" The symbol on the pen gleamed brilliantly, flashing pink, and somehow, inside the orb, it began to turn by itself, rapidly gaining speed. She could feel herself rise, into the air, and holding the pen, she automatically knew what to do. With it, she speedily drew a cross in the air, and began to transform. After several complicated flips and turns, out of her mouth, came "Sailor Sirona!"
What the...? As she looked down at herself, she could not help but be impressed. Ji-Yeon Nae was one of the Sailor Senshi! Her once plain red beads had been impressed with two hot pink ones, and two thin gold rings. Her boring red earrings, and also transformed into attractive spheres. Instead of her usual shirt, jeans, and Converse, a form-fitting dress was adorned, with an adorable bow on the back, and a 'poof!' at the end of it. Not to mention, she was wearing her most coveted white gloves, and a pair of Mary-Janes that she would have killed for before. What struck her the most was the symbol that lay below her clavicle. But, no time for discussing fashion anymore. A life was at stake. She looked again towards the cat for guidance. "The park...right?" Regardless of her answer, she began to run.

Mission: accomplished. The youma's focus was centered on her and not the innocent, ignorant people who were running for their lives. While it certainly wasn't the smartest move, and even she could admit that, Dani couldn't suppress the swell of pride that warred with the panic; no one would die here tonight, no one she could have prevented the death of, anyway. Sure, she put herself in almost certain danger, but that was kind of what senshi did.
Or so that was how she understood it.
Still, her heart leapt into her throat when she felt the youma's skeletal fingers wrap around her ankle, disrupting her run and causing her to stumble, then fall. By luck more than design, she managed to twist her body so that she didn't land directly on her cast, but that didn't mean that she didn't scream when she impacted. Even through the sleeve of her sweater she could feel the cold, and though her good shoulder took the brunt of the fall, it jarred her entire body. Worse, the youma began to pull her back, dragging her along the ice cold pavement.
Clawing at the ground, pain echoing from her shoulder down to her fingertips, she began to thrash violently. At the very least, she didn't want to make it easy. At the very least, she wanted to put a goddamn fight. To herself, she could admit that she'd thought she could outrun it - not hoped, thought she could really outrun it - and the knowledge that she couldn't frightened her more than anything else to date. After all that she'd been through, would she really be killed by a youma? In the middle of the park?
Was there no one else patrolling at all?
Scissoring her legs, she kicked at the youma's hand, landing snow-encrusted blows on her own calf just as often as she did the monster's knuckles. "Let me GO!"

The girl – no, Sailor Sirona – took off running, and Ophelia felt pride swelling in her chest. This was how a proper senshi should be acting. Dashing fearlessly in to save the life of an innocent, compelled by duty and integrity. Not whining and complaining about how the senshi uniform did not come complete with a set of C-cups (lookin' at you, Sailor Foramen). Ophelia smiled as much as her feline face would allow, and took off through the wet streets after Sirona. Perhaps Astraea's doubts were not as warranted as she'd first feared.
The sight that would greet the pair as they ran through the wrought-iron gate of the main entrance was one which would terrify most fifteen year old girls. Ophelia cast a glance up to Sirona, to check and make sure that the girl wasn't about to turn tail and make a run for it now that she saw what she was really up against. This was no mugger or common criminal; it was half again as tall as a star basketball player, and it's black skin was the very absence of light and warmth. The youma's mouth was opened wide, tiny white teeth spread as though it planned to eat Dani whole.
Sniff.
Despite having no visible nostrils, the youma gave an excellent impression of suddenly sniffing the air like a hound who had caught a scent. It seemed utterly unphased by Dani's kicks, pausing only to take in the scent of another vibrant, shining star seed. Its dark head twisted at a sickening angle, teeth reshaping into the trademark crescent of a wide grin. It would save her for next. After it finished this one. Then it would have two starseeds for the master. Two shiny baubles with which to prove its usefulness. The shadow youma was just about to go back to dragging Dani towards itself, when a white-hot burst of light fired from out of the darkness.
Ophelia, the star on her forehead still faintly glowing, had ventured several feet away from Sirona. She was perched on top of a trashcan now, sparing only a moment to glance at the senshi of Healing.
“Go, help her!” Her head jerked towards Daniela, who the monster had now released in preference of the cat who had just shot a laser beam up its a**, “I'll distract it.”
Then, she was off, and the shadow youma was quick to follow. It melted into the ground like the Wicked Witch under a bucket of water, and the shadow moved with impressive speed over the pavement. One after the other, the guardian cat and youma disappeared down the nearest alley, leaving Sirona and Daniela alone in the now otherwise deserted park.

Adrenaline flowed in her blood, increasing with each bouncing step she took, occasionally Ji-Yeon, no, now Sailor Sirona, took a side-ways glance at the cat for reassurance. Perhaps it was endorphins, but Ji-Yeon felt simply giddy, and to prove that point, a wide smile spread across her face. As they reached the iron gate that resembled pitchforks glued together, all positively energy was simply drained, and replaced with pure fear. She had prepared herself for a human being, a criminal. But whatever it was that lay several meters ahead, was certainly far from human. It had no solid shape, and was simply black. But one look at that tone of ebony, and Ji-Yeon was haunted. The very color of it showed a malicious intent to kill.
As the creature opened it's mouth, two jagged rows of teeth gleamed underneath the light of the moon, ready to devour its' victim. Ji-Yeon couldn't bear to see this! She had to run, away from this! It was probably just a bad, bad, dream...Just before she could turn however, her eyes caught sight of what was being held in the creatures' shadowy palms. Daniela Rynmer. Her friend. What she saw next, tore her heart apart. Tresses the shade of teal shook wildly as tanned legs writhed, acting on natural instinct to survival. It was then that Ji-Yeon realized, she had been chosen. Chosen to save people, even if they weren't her friends, from these creatures; it was her duty.
Suddenly, the monster turned, its' teeth curving up into what seemed like a grin. Repulsive. Suddenly, a brilliant ray of light hit the creature, coming from the cat! Damn, it was certainly talented. "Go, help her! I'll distract it." it shouted, in a most serious tone. Ji-Yeon couldn't let its' efforts go to waste, as she saw the monster drop the shaking Dani and run after the feline, she also ran towards Dani. There was no one else but the two girls. By the time she got there, Dani was a limp figure in the shadows. She lay on the cold pavement, looking rather lifeless. Worry took over Ji-Yeon as she tried to remain calm. "Are you okay, Dani? It's me Ji-Yeon!" she cried, just in case her friend wasn't able to recognize her. There was no response. Ji-Yeon wanted to help, needed to help. But there was not a human in sight, and if she were to go back to town, there would be no one there either. Should she call 911? No, no, she couldn't. She was a Sailor Senshi! They'd probably arrest her, or something. Ji-Yeon had to do this on her own. But...how? She felt so helpless. Senshi? That didn't do anything, if she didn't know what she could do. Quietly, she sobbed, tears dropping onto her friend. However, in the process of doing so, an epiphany hit her, one that whispered two words that would change her fate. Magical Mender...
Glancing towards Dani's scars and most-likely broken leg, from the impact of the fall, she forced her palms to hover over the spots, and spoke, "Magical Mender." There was a great, crimson flash at first, but slowly, it faded into what seemed like a transparent bubble, that covered all injured areas. Through it, the effect was visible. Dani was being healed!

If she was going to die, she would rather just hurry up and do it, and not sit there with everything inside of her screaming in pain.
By the time the youma dropped her, Dani was crying shamelessly, a broken, battered girl who had only been trying to do the right thing. She barely moved, because even breathing hurt, and though she wanted to continue to fight, she knew she couldn't. She was going to pass out if she kept trying to fight, and then everything was surely lost.
Through the haze of pain, she realized someone was talking to her, but she couldn't quite make out the words. Eyes turned to the shape, and she realized it was a senshi, though none she recognized. She closed her eyes, moaning, and turned her face back to the pavement. Nothing made sense in that moment, and everything hurt too much to even try.
If she was lucky, she'd pass out and wake up in the hospital.
If she wasn't lucky, she would just pass out and... not wake.
But then something changed. The pain started to fade, and she began to panic, thinking that she really was losing consciousness. But, no, as the pain receded, her thinking became sharper. She was able to breathe without it hurting, look over and see with eyes that were just a little wild that there was a senshi kneeling over her, hands spread above her wounds, healing them.
Where the hell had this senshi been, oh, every other time she'd gotten into a fight?
The ungratefulness of the thought surprised her, enough that she actually felt a little ashamed. She sat up, shifting her legs carefully because she didn't quite believe that they were better, and was surprised to find that they worked fine.
Eyes locking on the unfamiliar girl's, she demanded, "Who are you?" and in the next breath, "Where did the youma go?"

It-it-it was working! Ji-Yeon practically squealed out of pure excitement and joy. Dazed emerald irises met with her own. As she looked down at her palms, her heart paused for several beats as Ji-Yeon saw the wound disappearing slowly, as if it had never even occurred. "Dani!" Ji-Yeon grinned. "It's me, Ji-Yeon Nae!" she re-introduced. "You know, several days ago, I got caught in your senshi mess?" she shyly continued.
How would she take to her being a senshi now? "As for the youma, it went after the cat!" she explained, with a slight tilt of her head. "God, the feline even talked." Ji-Yeon dragged. "Anyways, are you feeling a bit better now?" The mere fact that she was able to be of use to Dani, filled Ji-Yeon with pure bliss. So, her mother had been right...

Ji Yeon-Nae? Her head was reeling, and not just from the injuries she'd sustained, as most of those were all but completely healed. Days before she'd been worried about this very girl revealing her status as a senshi, and it turns out she was one as well? Dani felt more than little betrayed, and for a moment, her expression furrowed into a deep frown. She opened her mouth to demand why she hadn't told her earlier when she heard something about a cat, and she clamped her mouth shut.
A talking cat. Ji-Yeon didn't know about the guardian cats? She must've just been awakened, Dani realized with wide, startled eyes. Oh, God. And the cat was off taking care of the youma by itself.
Struggling to her feet, expression a little wild, she said, "We have to help the cat! Where did it go?" Nevermind she was all but useless in a battle as it stood, and the very same youma had just beaten her nearly beyond recognition. "Don't worry about me, we can't just let that run loose!"
Pulling her henshin pen out of her pocket, she took a deep breath. "Ji-Yeon, from now on, when you see me as a senshi... it's Magellan, okay?"
So saying, she called out her henshin, and there was a bright flash of light and glitter before the skirted, beribboned teenage girl stood in Dani's place. After a beat, she said quickly, "Sailor Magellan. What's your name?"
Even as she asked, she was gripping Ji-Yeon's hand with her good one, already beginning to run in the direction the other senshi had indicated earlier.

Ji-Yeon should've stopped Dani, let her wounds heal a bit longer; but her expression was too defiant. "Well, at least you know you can trust me with your secret now. It's both of ours now." she attempted a soft grin. Then, becoming serious for once, she nodded. Why hadn't she thought of that before? Did she actually consider that a cat would be able to handle that thing on its' own? "Towards that alley!" Ji-Yeon exclaimed.
Dani's senshi form ceased to amaze her, even though it wasn't the first time she'd seen it. She let Dani, no, Magellan lead the way. "You can call me, Sirona!" she replied enthusiastically, then began to sprint with some new energy. Now that she had Magellan on her side, perhaps they'd be able to defeat that monster.
OOC: Should be Stae`s turn again, correct?
