My experiment is that I am attempting to think more positively and try to bring more positive things in my life.
My default setting is to always go into the negative and bad thoughts spiral out of control leaving me with panic attacks, depression and anxiety.
This may not be the most magical experiment, but it gets me thinking and it's almost new years... I never do resolutions, but I need to change.

So since I have decided to do this it has helped a lot, I've actually been able to stay on track for the most part.
I thought it would be harder, but it was fairly easy.
Even though there were some days that weren't so great, I recognized that and didn't let it spiral into total s**t.
It is hard though when other people are in s**t moods, I have a problem with empathy and feeling others emotions.
I just have to be somewhat selfish and not let them get to me too much.. and at the same time try to change their moods..

I have had a very successful month and plan on keeping up with a better state of mind, stepping back, taking a deep breath and refocusing myself.
My work has paid off, I just need to learn how to stay on track and not get distracted so I don't forget to keep training.

Thank you cheese_whine
I have got a few other people to try and do the same, thinking more positively.

So the end result.
A few weeks before I decided to do this, I had stop taking meds for depression/anxiety.
I still feel those at times but if I can change my mind and what I want to think about or focus on I can calm them down, especially anxiety.
I have had some stressful situations and have not handled them in the best way, but it takes time, and at least I can keep myself aware and learn from mistakes.
I don't spiral into despair or go off on some crazy paranoid scenario and wind myself up into a panic attack, if I can be more aware of where my thoughts are going I can direct them into a more calm and sane state of mind.

I still consider myself cynical and I have a dark sense of humor, I don't plan on losing those completely but I just want to be aware of where they are taking me.
