General rules and information. See the next post!
- If I refuse a roleplay, it's nothing personal! I just am looking for a different type of roleplay for my character at the time.
- That said, I will kindly refuse and probably offer a different type of roleplay.
- I expect you to be honest with me! If we're talking about a rp, and suddenly you lose interest for any reason, let me know.
- I prefer to do most planning here, although on occasion I'll agree to plot over aim with you!
- More will come.

 Dabiku's paws brushed against the moist morning grass as she picked her way across the lush plain. The last night's rain had left a rainbow painted in the blue expanse above her, like a sunset captured in a long stripe across the sky. A sigh escaped her as she looked for the nearest prey herd. The rain washed all the scent trails away. It left her groundless, without a single lead to guide her path. Hunger gnawed on her stomach, stretching its fingers up her throat and nearly suffocating her. Although she had lived years alone, the lifestyle of a rogue had never suited her well.
A bird called in the distance, its tan and cream plumage distinct against the morning sky. Her ears perked in its direction, her eyes following the bird as it soared across the blue expanse of sky, its feathers blocking portions of the hazy rainbow. She tensed her paws on the moist morning grass.
Life on her own could be hard, but Dabiku enjoyed it for moments like this. The moments before a chase.
Meaning: Sacrifice or offering in Swahili
Age: Adult
Personality: She was once part of a pride, at birth, but they chased her out because she didn't pass their hunting exam.
In her original pride, each lion had to pass a test upon becoming an adolescent. If they failed, they had two choices. They could leave the pride or become one of the lowest castes. No member of the hunter castes could look these failed lions in the eyes. Dabiku chose to leave, thinking the system unfair.
Dabiku is an average huntress. Her father was the best hunter in her entire pride, and he was extremely disappointed in her when she failed their exam. During the darkest part of the night, those moments before sunrise, Dabiku often dreams of returning home to her family and friends. Once the sun rises and pours its heat across the Savannah, she finds that she enjoys life as a rogue. She may long for a pride like her own, but she dislikes being pigeonholed somewhere just to belong.
She has a very snarky sense of humor. Playfulness is a large part of her personality; she believes in having a good outlook on life. She has a hard time truly trusting other lions until they prove their goodwill to her. This is because of her upbringing in a warrior-oriented pride. On the flip side, she is surprised by any and all acts of kindness, and she considers herself indebted to those who commit them. She seems rather friendly to lions who first meet her, as she believes in giving a good impression. Those who are unfriendly beg for fights, in her opinion. However, she will not shy away from fights - even those with much better warriors - because she feels that she has something to prove after her failed adolescent exam.
Dabiku is a loyal friend to those she trusts. She has a stern sense of right and wrong that normally gets her into trouble. Her belief is that the future can overwrite the past, so she endeavors to make the most of her present time on the Savannah. She believes in warrior gods and goddesses, but has a hard time believing in other Savannah deities, because her old pride forsook all but those who ruled over battle.Her old pride is based off Ancient Sparta and their caste system with the agoge.Current Plot WantsI want to use her as much as possible. I have lots of stuff I could offer you, I have a pride in the works thats based on harry potter, that you could take a look at or I could explain more about. Bit even if you arent interested in that then, there is several characters of mine that I am looking for rps with the help witha breeding count.

Hullo! I just got a new girlie, and I would love to do some RP. Keena is a kind girl, perhaps a bit too forgiving with a tendency to think that people who hurt her only do it by accident. She would love to make a friend, but even just meeting someone new would be nice.
I'd rather RP in the guild, but I can do AIM as well.

Sure, Zeph! Keena is another rogue, correct? I also prefer RP in the guild, actually. It would be interesting to have them meet - I'm hoping to explore Dabiku's personality a bit with random encounters/meeting strangers. Do you have any plots in mind? smile

Okay! Since you posted in my plot thread, I thought I'd return the favour. You're girl is seriously awesome! Warrior-types to meet your girl: Rap is an outgoing male, an ex-firekin who left his pride before the two factions joined together again. He holds a grudge against the Firekin, thinking they were the cause of his mother's death. He's currently training with the male called Hakan (see below) I'll post after him. He's actually an outgoing, friendly chap, who is loud and boisterous and quite happy to joke and mess about. However, he is dedicated to his training and is waiting for the day to return to his homeland to take his revenge upon them. Possible friend for her? Actually, I could see them being really close friends, quite possibly. Next there is Hakan'mawasii He is an exceptionally skilled fighter, once the high priest of the God of War. He has always been a rogue and always will be. He is fierce and violent when the need calls, but is actually a real softy. He's very loyal to his friend and his devotion to his family was unwavering (until they separated come adulthood). A serious fellow compared to his orange-pelted apprentice, he's now found some meaning to his life in teaching others. Possible mate, but otherwise Hakan is always in need of friends! (( I have more, but I have to go now ;o; I shall post more when I next get a chance to go online! ))

I think that's a great idea, Kim! Her snarky yet friendly personality sounds like it would go well with Rap's outgoing boisterousness. Especially if he could take a joke without it hurting his ego too much. Her moral compass would probably think that Rap deserves revenge against the Firekin, if he eventually tells her about his mother. Otherwise she might think his methods somewhat harsh and unjustified. She needs more friends with joking personalities to match her own. I definitely think they have the possibility to become good friends!
I'm not looking for a mate for her (at least not before seeing how she clicks with them!) but I'd love for her to interact with Hakan as well! Especially because he was once the high priest of the God of War, and her old pride revered that god quite highly. She would also find that he's a teacher interesting - she's good at sparring, but average at fighting, so she would find that idea intriguing. She's never come across a teacher before that didn't belong to a pride.
Hakan and Rap travel together, because Rap is Hakan's apprentice, yes? If so, then having them meet would be rather easy to do! And I shall await your other ideas when you come back. :3

But yus, they travel together, so she can meet them both together, or stagger the meeting so that she bumps into Rap first and then Hakan butts in half way through. Something like that. Yes, Keena is a rogue, sorry for not specifiying >.> I don't have a cert yet though. And she's a totally new lioness whom I haven't actually RPed yet, so I don't really have a plot for her at all. I don't have anything in specific in mind in regard to their little meet-up I'm afraid. She'd love to help Dabiku out with something, or they could just have a little random encounter. I'm up for a lot of things, though a fight wouldn't work simply because Keena wouldn't understand at all and wouldn't fight back. (she would, however, totally forgive Dabiku for attacking her >.> )
