(note i know not much about forging so if anyone has some corrections or references please notify me by pm)
in a corner of the starless sea namidar began to work on his newest piece he hammered the adamant rhythmically humming as he went along. it looked as if he was finishing up a new halberd blade as it began to cool he stuck it in the forge again and pulled out a different blade this one a dagger but made of mithril as he continued to hammer the blade section of it over bent and dripped off "xsa ol" he muttered and scooped up the metal off the floor with some tongs and put it a pile of scrap metal to be reused later he returned to the halberd blade shortly after and continued to hammer away
a sign just outside the forge said
Namidar's forge please ring the bell if you wish to speak to me or see my wares"
next to the sign there was a small silver bell that was chained to the wall with a small rope pull next to it

namidar looked around seeing that no one was around he sighed and left a sign above the bell "CLOSED please leave a note if need to see me" shouldered a pack full of his gear and left his forge the newly finished halberd hanging from a locked case on the wall

namidar walked back into his forge he looked over to it and smiled "yes i got here before it cooled down" he quick shoveled more coal in to heat up the furnace he sighed "i need to start hiring some pepole arounf here that matrons order is gonna kill me" namidar looked to the pike he made earlier "well 49 more to go" took out a chunk of adamantine and stuck it in the forge to heat it up as he did so a small lizard came up and crawled up to his shoulder "hmm about time you came back" he gave the lizard a small treat and sat back waiting for the metal to heat

Eilov entered the building and heard the clanging of metal against metal in back, "Namidar it is me Eilov I have come to lend you a hand in my off time from the captain." Finding that Namidar did not respond Eilov rung the bell and eventually gave up that futile effort. Sending a shadow with a message that he had arrived to Namidar...

"Ah, but shadows are so convenient. Perhaps I could be of assistance to you." Pulling the charred dragonbone staff off his back, "I have come across a new toy in my travels and it should do just the job." Tapping the staff on the ground a dull rumble came from the ground around the staff. "Give it a moment, it is quite old." Shadows became darker and moved without an owner, sleek dark gray men emerged from the shadows unchained manacles covered their wrists and blades adorned their belts. "Shadowfey, I am Eilov your master for your stay on this realm." To Namidar, "These are the Shadowfey, cursed to have their souls pulled by the plane of shadows. This staff lets me pull them here to follow my orders. Albeit that they probably hate me for the pain they are feeling right now, but there isn't much they can do about it. I'm sure they can they can help with some forging." Addressing the Shadowfey, "Get to work forging for Namidar here."

namidar sighed "id rather be the one to do the forging no offense but i am expected to keep a certain quality and theres no guarantee that they can forge the weapons well., though they can help with some things such as readying the forges and cleaning up or sending out deliveries" namidar sighed and placed a newly finished stack of halberd blades he then looked to the spirit "can you attach these to the handles?" he pointed to the stack of ash staves

((Shadowfey are physical beings, not spirits. They look like gray half elves)) The Shadowfey nods, "I can assure you that they are masters at forging. If you notice the bracers that all of them wear, each has exactly sixty five inch spikes that penetrate their flesh and exude an unending amount of pain that anchors them to planes other than that of the Shadow." Walking over to the finished halberds and examining it momentarily, "I am quite sure that they can mimic your craftsmanship." Pulling one of the blades out of a Shadowfeys sheathe he handed it to Namidar, "As you can examine here their blades are absolutely flawless and possess a keenness nearly unparalleled by the most talented forge masters, no offense of course..."

"yeah i know but to be honest i just don't like the idea of them much ill peddle any wares they make for you but i would prefer not to have them in the forge at the moment i am in a very precarious point in drow politics and its better if i make it seem as if no side is favoring me" he pointed to the shadowfey "and those are going to make people ask questions"

"Ah, I see, I'll set them to stacking piles of completed weapons then, if that is fine by you."

"I'll set them about their task then." Silently directing the Shadowfey to their task Eilov himself sat in a corner upon a conjured seat of bones inscribing runes upon small animal bones for later usage...
