A cobwebbed and dreary attic, high within the roof of the Palace. Not many venture here any more, for it is said to be haunted. If you are seeking a peaceful place to hide from prying eyes, this is the perfect escape.

 The Good Doctor
He knew the reason his team - or, rather, its leader - talked so much was because he was only a child, but it still managed to get on the Good Doctor's nerves way to much for him to even consider "hanging out" in the team's rooms. So when he discovered what looked to be long-forgotten stairs, he had quickly climbed them until he reached...this! What looked to be a secluded attic, a quiet place perfect for him to relax in. He sat down with a sigh, bringing out his Log and a pen, and he began to write his latest entry.
'Today our guild (by which I mean the Sun guild) was attacked by the Moon guild, and it was very profitable for me. I gained four Poochyena limbs, and after analyzing them in the laboratory, found that all four were compatible with the torso I had built...'

Auron xxxxx Runoura Meanwhile downstairs, Auron was freaking out over how to care for the little Snorunt that had manaed to come into his care. "U-uh, I'm sorry I'm not the best daddy but I'll k-keep you safe, okay?" Rune only stared back without a word, cocking her body almost quizzically. The Venonat twitched his antennae nervously before suddenly jumping. "Ohhh, dear! I forgot I left Sinistrad in the room alone with the stuff! S-stay right there, Runoura, I'll be right back!" he stuttered before dashing off. The tiny Snorun blinked and giggled a barely audible laugh. Her daddy was so funny sometimes.
Deciding that she was quite old enough to go wandering about on her own (even though technically she had barely hatched) she picked out a deteriorating length of stairs. Maybe some poor sad Pokemon was up there that needed help! Frowning slightly at this though, she drew her black 'cloak' around herself and scaled the stairs. Upon reaching the top, she noticed an odd Sableye sitting on some long forgotten furniture. He looked so sad by himself... Maybe... he needed a friend! Silently, Rune shyly approached the dark Pokemon and stared up at him with wide, icy blue eyes.

 The Good Doctor
The Good Doctor was so caught up in writing that he didn't hear the little Snorunt's steps until he put down his Log, at which time he looked down to see a small girl staring at him. "Ah!" he cried, caught totally unaware, but when she didn't do anything, he calmed down. "Um...ello... I am ze Good Doctor," he said, still looking at Runoura. "Who might you be?"
He did note that she seemed very unusual - she had many aesthetically pleasing genetical anomalies. He mentally marked her down as one to learn more about.

Runoura As Runoura stood there as silent as a snowy day, she took note of a few oddities; the most startling being the Kabutops scythe fused to his left arm. Next was the stitched eye and gothic coloration. Many young Pokemon would have been scared, probably even crying by now. However, this odd little Snorunt did not. She felt trrible that he had had to suffer such injuries and seeing as there was no one around, he felt like a very lonely soul. It was decided. She would be his friend if it was the last thing she would do! His gravelly voice broke through her thoughts and she wrapped the black cloak tighter. It seemed there was no way she could get around talking when it came to names... Bowing forward a little bit as his introduction she whispered, "Runoura..."

Looking at the Snorunt, he was fairly surprised she was not at least slightly intimidated. 'But zen again, she must be a very unusual child', he mused. "Ronoura, that's, um, a very pretty name," he said in his accent. He couldn't help but notice how quietly she had said the word, though. "If you do not speak loudly, nobody vill hear you," he said cryptically, getting up off the seat and sitting next to her.

Runoura Runoura blushed softly at the compliment and would have curled up into a little ball if it had been physically possible for her to do so. The only other Pokemon that had ever said anything nice about her (or to her for that matter) had been daddy but that was expected. Even at such a young age Rune knew parents would like to their children to make them feel better. As the Sableye commented on her lack of speaking she shifted nervously. The Snorunt didn't know why but she always felt scared when she talked, like she would hurt someone or say something wrong. Jumping a bit as she realized he had come to sit next to her, she nodded and without a word sat next to him, leaning against the scythe without fear.

Huh. Now that he thought about it, his only major complaint about children was the noise they made. Ronoura seemed abnormally quiet and hadn't bothered him so far, which was enough for him to tolerate her presence. Still, he wasn't used to talking with children, and was curious about her. He couldn't help but notice how she shifted when he mentioned how quiet she was. "So...vat team are you from?" he asked, looking at her quizzically. He hadn't actually talked to anyone outside of Team Element yet, and he didn't know the others.

Runoura Runoura herself had yet to actually talk to anyone aside from her father... Then again, perhaps talk wasn't the correct term. While he stuttered and stammered, flailing about in a panic, she only watched and did her best to help. Aunt Zerca was a bit awkward around her but she didn't blame the Totodile. As for Sinistrad... she felt he needed to stop being such a meanie. Another questions was presented to her and she internally struggled with how to answer without speaking. For a moment her eyes flickered over to the pen and log the Sableye had been using earlier. Immediately she shook the thought away. She had to learn to be able to talk comfortably! Still, the thought made her wilt. Maybe... Yes, that was it. She promised herself she would only ever have to talk to this lonely Sableye. Keeping this in mind, she looked up at him and pulled the 'cloak' a small ways away from her mouth. "I am... from... Team Amsel" she managed to say after a few falst starts.

"Team Amsel? It sounds very nice," he said politely, inwardly proud of her for speaking. He could tell it was difficult for her, and awkwardly gave her a small hug. "I'm from Team Element," he said while looking down at the little Snorunt. Although he wouldn't say it out loud, he rather enjoyed her company. "It's...okay. It's run by two kids, though. Zey talk too much." He gave a very slight smile. "How is Team Ansel?"

Runoura Talking, while scary, didn't seem as hard when doing so to such an attentive Pokemon. The little Snorunt didn't know anything of his darker tendancies but even so, she couldn't help but feel he was a good person to be around. The thick German accent wasn't too difficult to discern and he just over all gave off an air of intelligence. Nodding when he revealed his own Team she couldn't help but give that tiny laugh that sounded like little ice crystals clinking together. Auron talked alot but that was mostly to himself. Blinking in surprise at the hug, she mentally attempted to curl up into an embaressed ball but returned the kind gesture. Her own team? Rune's blue eyes closed in a smile and she murmured, "Crazy~ None... match." By matching, she meant that their erratic personalities had a tendancy to clash.

Her laugh was adorable, quiet and somehow fitting to her. "..None match?" This was spoken questioningly as he looked down to see a smile on Rune's little face. Somehow this seemed to make him happy, as he smiled too, asking, "You mean zey're all very different?"

Auron xxxxx Runoura Rune's eyes brightened as he managed to put together her rather skimpy description of her team. With an enthusiastic nod, the small Snorunt gave affirmation to his questioning reply. Despite all the chaos that erupted from housing so many different Pokemon, she adored her little family. Come to think of it, the Sableye was a very unique creature as well. Smiling a bit more in response to his own growng smile she murmured, "I... like you. You're... pleasant and kind." It suddenly occured to her that she had yet to discover his name. Opening her mouth to ask, she froze when footsteps could be heard bounding up the stairs. "R-Runoura!?" a frantic voice called before a panting Venonat stood shaking at the top of the stairs. Excersize was definitly not his thing.
"O-Oh thank Arceus. There you are." he groaned, befor eyeing the Sableye warily. Slowly walking over to his adopted daughter, he pet her lightly on the head. "Um, thanks for... looking our for her? W-we have to go. Come along, Rune!" After getting a load of that scythe arm, he wasn't too sure he wanted to stick around much longer. The little Snorunt stood up and hugged the Good Doctor before giving him a sweet, childish kiss on his cheek. "Thanks... for talking... to me." That said, she trotted off after her nervous father.

 The Good Doctor
Rune's comment surprised him, and he smiled gently. He had never been called either pleasant or kind before. "...Thank you," he said, smiling. For that matter, he hadn't smiled much lately either. Maybe spending time with Rune was a good thing. "I..." he began to say, but before he could get any further Auron came in, and his first impressions were 'weak' and 'easy to influence'. This was not a strong person by any means, at least from the Good Doctor's point of view, but he seemed to be a friend or something of Rune's, and so he decided to be polite and say nothing as the Venonat came over and took Rune. "Goodbye," he said, waving and...was that blushing!? when she kissed him. As soon as they left, he took his log book, wrote down a little more, and left as well, oddly happy.

Leslie & AmaniLeslie walked up into the attic with a grumble. "Stupid Vira... Can't believe she let that guy on the team..." He growled. He, of course, was talking about Shadowmere. He hadn't yet forgiven the Ponyta for smashing his tail, which still hurt a little. Maybe it was fractured? From behind the Shinx, a voice squeaked out. "Whah awe we hewe, pawpa?" Little Amani asked. "No reason, Amani. We're just looking around," Leslie replied. Amani blinked for a minute, and then gave a big grin. "OTAY!"
