Lovell: *walking along side the river, his feet crunching the bits of snow covering the ground*
Lilly: *enjoying the fact that she's now gliding over the top of the frozen rivver* :3
Lovell: *sees a familiar figure gliding along the river* o.o *chuckles a little* Lilly?
Lilly: *hears her name and looks up* Hm? *crashes into a snow bank*
Lovell: Oh, Lilly! *goes to help fetch her out of the snowbank, trying to suppress another chuckle* Are you alright?
Lilly: *hears her name and looks up* Hm? *crashes into a snow bank*
Lovell: Oh, Lilly! *goes to help fetch her out of the snowbank, trying to suppress another chuckle* Are you alright?
Lilly: *looks up in shock at Lovell, then smiles and nods* Yes... but it's been a while since I've seen you. How are the children?
Lovell: *smiles* Well, they are all grown now. Off on their own. But they are doing well I suppose.
Lilly: I'm glad to hear that *smiles brightly* I'm sure you made a wonderful dad to them
Lovell: Well I hope so. *beams at her praise* You seem to have grown up quite a lot too Lilly. It really has been a long time...
Lilly: *laughs a little* I know, it's what happens when you have younger sibblings
Lovell: Ah, you've had younger siblings? I'm sure that must have been a joyous occasion for your family.
Lilly: Well, needless to say, it was a surpise to us firsties
Lovell: *laughs* I'm sure. So, how is your family doing these days?
Lilly: Decently well, though dad has stayed inside mostly from the cold and wet
Lovell: Ah yes. Your dad, a Rapidash, right?
Lilly: *nods* That's right.
Lovell: Well, I'm glad that they are well.
Lilly: How are things with your mate? And your new sibblings!
Lovell: Oh, you heard about that? Well they aren't that new anymore, but I suppose that proves how long it's been since we've talked. As for my mate, well...we have gone our separate ways...
Lilly: Oh... oh my, I'm sorry to hear that Lovell.... *feeling really bad for having brought it up*
Lovell: It's alright. We took care of our kids together, that's important. There was nothing that could be done...things just didn't work out...
Lilly: *smiles a little* You really are an amazing father to have stayed for the sake of your kids....
Lovell: *blushes a little* Well....thank you, Lilly. But don't think that I...didn't try to make things work out...
Lilly: Don't we all?
Lovell: Well, most of us. *smiles a little* Well, what about yourself, Lilly? Surely a beautiful girl like yourself would have found a mate?
Lilly: *shakes her head* Afraid not. Though my younger sister seems to have found herself a vampire
Lovell: *blinks* A vampire? You don't seem very thrilled about it...*shakes his head* And what does she see in this, vampire?
Lilly: I don't... trust him, that's all. I fear for her safety. She seems to be fully in love with him though
Lovell: I see. Well I haven't met any vampires. I haven't heard they are very agreeable, but my mother is a witch, and she's quite agreeable. If she's taught me one thing, it's not to judge by what someone is, but by who. Anyway, if your sister is in love, I'm sure that I must be happy for her. But I do hope that she will be safe with him, as I can see that it troubles you.
Lilly: *gives a small smile* Thanks, Lovell...
Lovell: *smiles back* You are welcome, Lilly. *looks at the river* So, are you enjoying the weather?
Lilly: *nods* oh, quite! It's so much faster to travle on ice than it is through water
Lovell: *laughs* It looked like you were having fun. The cold doesn't bother you?
Lilly: Not at all; I"m a Dewgong after all... or at least part; and we're ice-critters
Lovell: Oh yeah, that's right. *smiles* Well the cold doesn't bother me either. I'm part reindeer, and I've got a nice winter coat. *grins*
Lilly: *bibbles* Not to mention those antlers
Lovell: *proud of his antlers, grinning still* Yes, and the antlers. *holds his head at an impressive angle* Though I never have tried to fly. I'm quite partial to the ground.
Lilly: *giggles* I wonder if you can still pick me up in those things....
Lovell: *chuckles* I don't know. Quite possibly.
Lilly: I'd be too afraid of hurting you to try that theory though
Lovell: I doubt you would hurt me. I'd like to bet that they are quite strong, and you my dear don't appear to be very heavy.
Lilly: *giggles* True, you've become a lot larger than I now
Lovell: *chuckles* Yes. Shall we try then?
Lilly: *blushes a little* You don't have to...
Lovell: *grins and lowers him self to the ground to be able to pick her up, and gently positions his antlers under her, and waits for her to climb the rest of the way up*
Lilly: *laughs nervously, but climbs up*
Lovell: See, not so bad? How is it up there? Comfortable?
Lilly: *smiles a little* I feel taller
Lovell: You are taller! *chuckles*
Lilly: *giggles a bit* Thank you, Lovell
Lovell: You are welcome. *gently sets her down*
Lilly: *blushing quite a bit*
Lovell: *blushes from seeing her blush* Everything all right?
Lilly: Y-yes, everything is quite fine
Lovell: Alright. *smiles* Well...what would you like to do now?
Lilly: we could catch up witheach other
Lovell: Yes. *smiles* What would you like to catch up on?
Lilly: Well, where are you living now?
Lovell: In a little thicket not far from where I used to live.
Lovell: Where are you living now, Lilly?
Lilly: *smiles* in a tree0hole not to far from here
Lovell: Oh. *smiles* So I have unknowingly wandered close to your home.
Lilly: That you have *smiles softly* Though, I certainly wont complain about it
Lovell: Well that is good. *chuckles* I would hate to intrude.
Lilly: *laughs* You could never intrude in my home
Lovell: Thank you Lilly. Nor you in mine.
Lilly: *smiles* I"m releived to hear that
Lovell: Well of course, Lilly. You didn't expect to hear the opposite, did you?
Lilly: Well, you really never know....
Lovell: Now, don't say that. We haven't seen each other in a long time, but we are friends after all. *smiles* You've always been such a good friend Lilly, and a very good listener.
Lilly: *blushes quite brightly* Thank you, Lovell, and you've been a close and good friend as well... not to mention patient
Lovell: Patient? How do you mean?
Lilly: You've delt with me since I was a kit, didn't you?
Lovell: *chuckles* Yes, I've really known you for a long time. And I've had the pleasure of seeing you grow into a fine lady.
Lilly: *blushes brightly* Well, I've seen you grow into an elder.....
Lovell: Yes, that's true. We've seen each other grow both physically and emotionally. We've both matured since we've last talked, don't you think?
Lilly: *nods* We certainly have....
Lovell: *smiles* Ah, that's life...always growing and changing.
Lilly: It's what life is about, right?
Lovell: *nods* That, and other things. I suppose life is about all kinds of things.
Lilly: *chuckles* And you really never know what's in store for you
Lovell: True true!
Lilly: SO tell me.... is it lonely?
Lovell: *thinks* Sometimes. I don't mind being on my own, but I do crave company at times. What about yourself?
Lilly: It does get quite.... *smiles a little* would you be interested in a room-mate?
Lovell: *a bit surprised* A room-mate? Well the last time I had a room-mate...*blushes* ......Well I would definitely enjoy your company Lilly. *smiles*
Lilly: *smiles a little* Would you... really not mind rooming together? I mean, we'd have our own rooms, of course...
Lovell: Oh yes, of course. I wouldn't mind as long as you wouldn't mind.
Lilly: I would very much enjoy it.... *smiles* It would certainly be a step up from living how I am now
Lovell: Then I would definitely be happy to have you as a roommate. My thicket is big enough for two, if you'd like, and there is little subdivisions separated by bushes and shrubs for separate rooms. It's quite cozy in there, with the shelter from the trees.
Lovell: And I think there is a river that runs nearby
Lilly: *smiles brightly* And we could use my place to perhaps store food?
Lovell: Of course, it sounds like a find idea *smiles*
Lilly: *now wearing a wide, excited grin*
Lovell: I am happy to see you so excited. *chuckles and grins as well* This will definitely be something new.
Lilly: *blushes a bit* Oh my, I'm as easy to read as an open child's book aren't I
Lovell: *laughs* Just a little bit.
Lilly: Well, it makes communication easy, right?
Lovell: I suppose so. *smiles*
Lilly: Well, I don't have much in the home, just a plant and a small sea-shell collection.
Lovell: Well you are welcome to bring those. A sea shell collection sounds lovely.
Lilly: I should actually keep the plant there until the winter is over.... I'd be afraid of it getting chilled
Lovell: *nods* That is a good idea.
Lilly: Would you care to help me bring my collection though?
Lovell: Of course not. Lead the way and I will help you carry it.
Lilly: *smiles brightly* Thank you! It's over here! *glides across the snow to her little tree-hole*
Lovell: *follows behind her, his paws crunching through the snow* You were right, it really wasn't far. *chuckles*
Lilly: Well, this is where I'm most familiar with.... so why not live there, right? *slips into the hole to reveal an underground burrow*
Lovell: *peers inside* Wow, this is very nice. It doesn't even look very big from the outside.
Lilly: Exactly, anything dangerous would just pass by it outside
Lovell: That's very good thinking. *smiles and steps lightly inside*
Lilly: And it gets quite warm because it's closed off
Lovell: This will be a very nice place to store food. Are you sure you want to leave it?
Lilly: *smiles softly* It's for the best to move on
Lovell: If you are sure...
Lilly: *smiles* Yes, I'm quite sure!
Lovell: *smiles back and moves closer to her* Alright then. So where is this sea shell collection?
Lilly: Over here *walks over to a root system jutting from the walls that she'd turned into a shelf*
Lovell: *smiles at her creativeness*
Lilly: *gently spreading out a small peice of cloth* Here, I can put them in here....
Lovell: *nods* That should keep them safe if we are careful with them
Lilly: *lower end wiggles a bit* I'm... really excited for this!
Lovell: *chuckles* I am glad Lilly. *smiles and helps her put the shells in the cloth*
