DOODLE:
Neph sat at the edge of the water, her eyes sparkling as she sighed lightly. She didn't know what was off, but she could feel it in her paws, in her toes. She looked at herself in the water, maybe it was her?
She sighed once more, looking away, ears flattening against her skull as she rose to her paws, her sisters were so active and all her siblings were so full of life..
She walked away from the waters edge, tail down, head lowered but she didnt head back towards the den her family all stayed in, no in the darkness she walked.
CHOBI:
A shadowy figure could be seen off in the background. Obviously it was a lion cub trying to hid himself in the shadows of the thick grass. Moyo was failing horribly though, but he didn't know.
The male thought he was being super sneaky like trailing his step sister. He had always felt strangely close to her and always wanted to impress her. Moyo was helplessly intranced with her for what ever reason.
There she was down by the water. The cub had no idea why she had gone off on her own, but he wanted to find out. That was for sure, and that was why he watched her now from a safe distance.

The sound sounds of another not to far off behind her, had caught her attention, but she had to much on her mind right now.
She was already getting the itch, that would some day pull her away from the safe haven of her family. She sat back down, she eyes flickered onto the sky, why was she so..different? she didnt quiet understand it.
She wished Moyo was with her, he might be her step brother
but she felt closer to him, more than anyone else, even her father who was almost her world. Something unknown drew her to her step brother, she worried about him the most, something that would never change. Her tail curled around her paws as she then lowered herself to her belly, the skull of a baby croc hung around her neck, a gift from Moyo.
CHOCOBO:
Moyo slunk down low to the ground and started to slowly stalk toward his sister. He was very careful to use rocks and trees and the grass as cover as he approached. Choosing his paw steps carefully as well as to not make much noise.
She was in sight. Little closer, little closer. CRACK! Moyo looked down to find a branch. s**t, and it had been loud. So much for a playful sneaky pounce.

She jumped almost out of her skin at the sound of the branch breaking, spinning around, her shackles rose, upper lip pulled back in a snarl as her fangs flashed out.
Her tail whipped out behind her, as she puffed out her chest, making her small size, seem much bigger than it was, which only made her seem a more normal size.
Chobi:
Moyo's eyes widened at Nephs reaction. She may have been small, but she still was terrifying. The cub felt him self back up some back into the shadows.
"Neph~??" His voice was small. Moyo hoped he hadn't intruded in on her.

Shrinking back, the moment she saw who it was that had been lurking in the shadows, her ears went flat against her skull in shame. "Moyo!.." She whispered, she'd never hurt him, not on purpose anyways.
"You scared me!" she offered as a meek excuse.
CHOCOBO:
Moyo found him self shrinking back a little too, ashamed he had acted so frightened earlier. He was supposed to be brave after all right.
"I .. don't mean to intrude?" He flashed her a smile and took a few steps forward so he was in the light. His chocolate blueberry coat gleemed in the sun.
"What are you doing out here all alone?" Moyo raised a brow.

She stepped a bit closer to him, shyly almost as she shrugged her shoulders a bit. "I was...sorta wishing you'd be out here." she looked to her paws, kneading the ground skepticly.
"Just thinking.." she said with a sigh, thinking of all the things that made her so different than him, than her siblings..she chewed her bottom lip.
CHOBI:
Moyo nipped at her ear playfully , "Don't think to hard. You look sad." He frowned and pawed at her. He didn't like it when she hada sad face.
"You.. really wished me here?" Moyo felt him self blush.

"Yeah, I like it when your around..It makes me feel..I dunno." she kept her gaze at her paws, she really didnt know.
She smirked a bit, giving him a look. "Well, you'd be sad too if you were a freak in your family." She flopped onto her belly, and then winced, she was getting to big to do that, and the skull hurt!
CHOCOBO:
Moyo tilted his head , "You're not a freak. " The cub rubbed his head to hers, " I think your perfect. Your fun and funny and your pret.." Moyo blushed and looked over his shoulder.
"I think you're fine how you are Neph. I always have."

She rubbed her head against his softly, a tender smile pulling at her muzzle as she sighed. "As that might be the case..I still feel like one..Im not like anyone else, Im so..damn scared of everything! Im always worried about someone getting hurt, I miss out on the fun of life.." She covered her muzzle with her paws.
CHOBEEZ:
Moyo couldn't help but giggle a little.
"Thats all your worried about?" He smiled and licked his step sisters cheek, "Someones gotta keep us outta trouble right?" He nuzzled her.

She huffed at his giggle, giving him a scowl before sighing.
"Yes, but why is it always me?" She asked, looking at him with pleading eyes. "I want to be the one to once, make everyone worry..to have fun."
CHobi:
Moyo licked at her face lovingly, "Come on follow me Neph. We can go on an adventure."
With that Moyo started off down the bank of the river. Only pausing once to look over his shoulder at Neph, before fleeing into the thick of the grass.
DOODLE:
She sat there for a moment, frozen..was she going to really do this? Run after him and have they're own adventure. Yes, by the gods she was!
"Wait for me!" She called out as she was soon racing down the bank of the river after him, her mind flooded with worry that she simply did her best to ignore, she looked back over her shoulder at what would be the safety of their family but her paws continue continued to carry her after Moyo, the bravest cub she knew!
