Why Mortalitas?
Damon is not a very outgoing individual; though those who manage to enter the realm of who he considers to be his 'friends', he is highly protective of his friends and will do anything for them. Much like a cavern, for while it may be hard to find an opening, when you manage to get in, there is always a chance of finding light within. Damon is also the brother of Sailor Nemesis (ISN'T THIS IRONIC) whose court is under Saturn's. Also, as explained below, Damon shares the guilt of betraying his family with Mortalitas, a similarity which he understands completely.
Interesting tidbit: Damon does not like smoking; he is an athlete and makes it a point to stay away from ANY drugs. If he becomes Mortalitas, he will probably get urges to light up a cigarette, and will fight with it by simply buying a lighter and flickering away with it.
Why Caverns?Quote: 1. any large dark enclosed space 2. a large cave or a large chamber in a cave Caves are formed by various geologic processes. These may involve a combination of chemical processes, erosion from water, tectonic forces, microorganisms, pressure, atmospheric influences, and even digging.
2. Becoming a Cavalier would mold Damon into a different person; directions under Kunzite and fighting experience will slowly change the rash boy into a calculative individual. Fighting alongside the senshi, fighting against the Negaverse contribute to this as well, and what I see as the 'various geologic processes' that make him more mature as a person and a Cavalier.
Why a Cavalier?
Being a Cavalier will probably tame his tendency to become violent (or just encourage it because he can stab things) as he will vent it out on the Negaverse instead of beating up civilians who get on his nerves? It also would teach him to be more analytical and plan things (like how Charonite did) instead of rushing straight into a fight. (I'm thinking this will be a maturing process for him.) Damon will dedicate himself to finding the Prince and listen to Kunzite's commands, although he is less interested in dealing with the senshi. He views them as allies, but would rather work with other Cavaliers; since they are more focused on finding their Princess than the Prince instead. He also shares the guilt of betrayal with Mortalitas (due to his own personal problems. See: How he got into Hillworth) and therefore will dedicate his life to the Cavaliers.
May plug in into Nemesis upon discovering that she is his sister. Or at least attempt to.

 You've totally adequately described Damon and why he's in the Death camp -- I'd just like to see a little more reason as to why he's in the Caverns camp, and how you're defining Cavern. smile
|
