Hello all!

Since quite a few of our current moderators haven't posted in a long long while, I thought I'd try to recruit a couple more who frequent often and demote those who don't post.

Go ahead and post your interest in moderating, why you'd like to moderate, what you think you could contribute, and anything else you'd like to add. I've watched all of you pretty closely, so my decisions will be based on how often I see you post and how you post (don't ask). So go for it! ^^

Moderating Interests: I want to moderate because I am a fair individual with a good understanding for rules and how to follow them. My experience with moderating on different sites has taught me how to handle many weird and usual situations with members, and how to keep myself from ending up like other power-hungry individuals.

Available Contributions: Since I'm an aspiring veterinary technician, I could definitely offer advice and help with people's pets -- probably even include a few things to aid those in homework or trying to gain the same career field. I want to start a few things here such as story sharing (which I will soon), animal FAQ (for those who want to know more about animals or have unanswered questions), animal debates (is the pitbull that dangerous? should breeds be monitored? is the Munchkin cat breed cruelty?), and other fun activities that could include everyone's personal pet (like Christmas dress up, the funniest expression, etc.).

Online Availability: GAIA is addictive.. xD So therefore, I am on it everyday -- regardless of homework or job duties (soon to come). Since this guild aspires to my animal-loving side, I visit it at least twice a day, whether to roam it or post snippets. If it was a requirement to post twice a day here, five to six days a week, I could definitely live up to that. I could also dedicate the time to looking through recent threads for problems or member errors requiring a fix or two.

Anything else we need to know?: I haven't been posting as much lately due to an accident I'm recovering from. ^^ I'm trying to catch up on everything though! Just give me some time..

Oooh I feel weird ressurecting this, but I'll go ahead. Sorry for using your form, Irmatu, but it's very convenient.

Moderating Interests: I would like to moderate because I am above all else polite when someone messes up. I have no problem correcting problems to the best of my ability and am a good leader, and no matter how odd the request or unpleasant the screw-up I'd interact fairly and kindly no matter what. I can be firm when need be as well. I like to think I can fairly judge what reaction is pleasant where.

Available Contributions: I am an entomology student. I may not be an expert, but insects and similar creatures are my passion in life. Not many people seem to be in need of answers about them but I am always on call with advice, information, and when I am not sure what the answer is to a question I have a plethora of links where the answer will be.
As for mammals, avians, and other popular pets I admit my knowledge isn't much better than the average poster. I went to vet assisting classes but quit when I realised how desensitized my colleuges could be. I just couldn't take being around people who acted that way towards the animals they should have cared for.

Online Availability: I check Gaia daily, and despite being new this guild is the one I check most of all. I like the idea and its potential for expansion into new territories. I would like to see it cover every type of creature out there, and I'd be there daily to help.

Anything else we need to know?: If I don't get the position as moderator, I would love to contribute via donations and support with insect and cephalopod related questions. I'd like to see this guild grow, no matter what.
