I just got a call on my phone by a number I don't know and it was a girl.
She knew my name although I didn't know who she was even though she told me her name.
I didn't know what to say, so I asked my sis and instead of helping me think of something she just put down the phone so I couldn't really get an explanation?
Was it a prank call or something?
*has close to zero experience with girls so he doesn't know anything about how to react*

My vote would be on a prank phone call. As cruel as it is, that seems to be the likelier reason. The beauty of this situation is that if she is for real, she will contact you again.
The implications are numberless. Ah, the ugly side of human nature.

Friend of a friend of a friend, maybe? It is not too difficult to attatch a name to a face to a telephone number nowadays.
And everyone has something irreversibly attractive about them that appeals to someone else, without fail. Chances are, with so many people out there, the idea of a 'soul mate' is not too farfetched.

I've had that happen over the internet before. I agree, it is very scary. I suddenly got an I.M. from a girl, who used my full name asking me if I wanted to meet her. I freaked out and blocked her.
I agree with ORO though. If she really wants to go out with you, she will call again.
