Tavian Hmm, quiet, peaceful, nothing but books all around... yup, this was the perfect place to avoid Cael, that Pichu wouldn't be caught dead in a place like this. Smiling a little to himself, Tavian glanced around at the many shelves of books surrounding him; wow, he didn't know where to even start looking for an interesting read, there was so much! Even the library at his parents' house hadn't had this many books! Well, might as well just grab what was near him and figure out what section he was in. The Riolu slipped a book off the shelf in front of him at random, and opened it up curiously to see what it was. Oh, a storybook? 'Lonely Doll, the Origins of the first Banette'... huh, well that looked interesting enough to start with. He was generally into more factual history than old legend, but this still seemed like it'd be worth a look. Now, to find someplace to sit...

Taki Taki trotted into the library, head lifted up proudly as he looked around in wonder. Now this was a palace fit for a prince such as himself! "Let us find something to read..." He thought out loud, moving around a few shelves before snagging a book reading 'Abra and the Torn World' and moving to a chair, but ALAS the one chair he could see was taken and the Pokemon sitting there did not seem inclined to move anytime soon. The Eevee's fur bristled as he trotted up, book balanced on his back. "Oi there, peasant! Remove thyself from this throne!"

Tavian Having found himself a nice soft armchair, Tavian had settled down and was just getting into the book he was reading when all of a sudden a voice piped up nearby, and he looked up in confusion to see a disgruntled little Eevee standing there. What did he say? Peasant? Hmph, not one for manners, was he? "My family owns so much property and wealth it'd probably make even your ego seem small. I'm no peasant, despite this choice of lifestyle." he said bluntly, then was about to turn back to his book when he remembered a scrap of his manners and glanced at the Eevee again. "And I'm sure there are other places to sit around here, why don't you go find one of them."

Taki Taki didnt bat an eye at Tavian's words, holding his ground and leering at the Riolu. "I demand that seat, PEASANT." He repeated, emphasizing his word and then setting his book down to place both paws on the arm rest of said chair. "Surrended it or face my wrath, filth on my flawless paws."

Tavian Looked like this guy couldn't take a hint; oh well, at least it was a different kind of annoying than Cael, so technically this was still an okay break. "Well that's too bad," he said, turning to look back at the Eevee with a completely calm expression, "Because I got here first, and I'm not moving just because you want me to." With that, Tavian turned and was able to read another half a sentence of his book before two little paws set themselves down on his armrest and the Eevee started complaining again. Honestly, this little nuisance was lucky he'd been brought up to use manners with everyone and not let himself give in to uncouth rage, otherwise he'd be splattered all over the wall in no time flat. "Find another seat." he repeated, shooting the Eevee a glare.

Taki---Solaris The Eevee snarled at the blatant refusal to listen to him. He disliked not getting his way and the idea that this FILTH thought it was more important than him really set him off. "I have my seat and your in it ,lower class vermin and I will teach you to mouth of to royalty!" Taki leapt back, planting his feet and prepared a Shadow Ball that he fired at Tavian angrily. Before his attack could land, a shimmering lavender shield formed around the Riolu and the Shadow Ball dispersed into a thin black mist. "What is going on here?!" Taki's ears flipped down instantly at the authoratative voice. Uh oh.

Tavian As the Eevee threw a hissy fit, Tavian turned away and went back to reading his book, ignoring--or at least trying to--the little pokemon's griping. Even though he'd been taught to always keep his cool in any situation, he wasn't so sure he could handle it if this little punk kept being so annoying... The Riolu's ears suddenly twitched, and he looked up quickly to see the Eevee launching a Shadow Ball at him; but before he could even begin to react there was a blur of purple and the attack dissipated into nothing. What the...? Oh, that Espeon... wasn't he the Guildmaster? Well that was just great, now he was getting in trouble for just trying to read. "He wanted my seat, and I told him he couldn't have it." the Riolu explained, bowing his head slightly as he adressed the Espeon. Maybe he could still talk his way out of this...

Taki---Solaris Taki grumbled, hissing at Tavian. "I am clearly more superior than this, filthy Riolu. I laid claim to that seat and he refused to move!" Solaris blinked at this odd statement, clearly the Eevee had no idea he'd even done anything wrong. "We do not attack other guild members...and he had the seat first." "BUT I AM SUPERIOR!" "We are all equal..." "THE ******** WE ARE!" Solaris sputtered at the profanity and watched with a gaping mouth as Taki strutted out of the library before the startled Guild Master could react. "What...the..."

Tavian Tavian's eyes narrowed and he supressed an angry growl of his own as the Eevee argued with the Guildmaster before the little jerk stormed out in a huff; good thing too, or he might not have been able to keep himself from attacking. "Pompous little puffball..." he grumbled as the Eevee left, scowling. Man, now he was pissed, and he'd never be able to get back to focusing on his book like this.

Hoot & Egg Carrying the egg, Hoot had been walking around quietly. Her being so small her feet barely made a sound as they padded across the floor. Her stomach was a bit sick, and everyone else was still asleep. She had been itching to get some reading done, but was originally headed towards the Courtyard for some air. Until she had seen the two story building, of course, and realized this was the place she wanted to be.
She eyed books, but all the ones on the bottom shelves were books that didn't interest her. Then...she saw it...all the way on the top shelf...it was a shiny looking book...She could just make out the title from her far below angle, 'A HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. A tale of a small Pichu being evicted by his home, and then taken by a Arcanine, later found out to be a Weavile, and then they travel all over space...meeting all kinds of new Pokemon...but...well, Hoot didn't know all of it, but she knew that this was the book she wanted to read. But how would she reach it? She looked down at the small egg in her hands...

LumiThe door creaked open one more time, and a faintly blue lighted object poked into the room. It flickered around, and then another poked in. The shined around a little, and then the full Pokemon emerged. The two little beacons of light belonged to a small Chinchou. Her name was Lumi, and she had just hatched that day. Little Lumi looked around cautiously until she saw Hoot. Oh dear, she didn't know there would be another Pokemon here! With speed, she quickly hid under a table, although her lighted antennae easily gave her away.

Hoot & Egg Hoot had been staring at the light since it peeked through the door. She watched the small Pokemon try to hide. One of her ears drooped as her head cocked a bit. Why had she done that? Hoot began to pad over, to ask for a name and to introduce herself, but as she reached the small Chinchou, something began to kick in her arms. Her ears went up, alert. She put the egg down, "Oh gee...I wish Chopin was here...I've never done this before!" She knew that inside the egg was a fire type, but it's coloring was strange...She cringed as it kicked again, not ready at all to be a mom, and hoping the Pokemon inside didn't see her that way. She looked to the Chinchou for help, but knew right away that it was younger than herself. She whimpered a bit.

~Kewnew ~Grim"Why the hell are we even here...?" Grim groaned as he trudged along behind his Treecko partner, whom was frantically dashing through isle after isle of books at this point apparently looking for something important."Well we got this egg, and neither of us know a damn thing about parenting. So to solve that they must have a book on the subject here!" Kewnew responded, her words quick and melded together as he ran on, clutching a small egg underneath her one arm."I honestly don't think that's a skill you can learn through a book; not to mention I can't even see you taking care of another living thing." Grim's rant was cut off when he caught eye of a twitching movement coming from the egg in question that the Treecko was holding."And I think you're too late anyway now." He remarked, watching Kewnew freak as she too felt the movement, causing her to toss the fragile egg up into the air in surprise. Definitely Not the best time to have a skitzo moment..."Aw hell..." Grim muttered as he gracefully caught the flying embryo, gently placing it on the ground afterward to wait for it to hatch; assuming it would be coming very soon.

Hoot & Not Egg A purple paw busted through the egg, scaring Hoot. She jumped back a bit, and raised a paw to her face. There was silence for a minute, and then...a small head peeked out...Hoot peeked behind her paw, at the peeking head...peeking out of the egg...The small Growlithe retracted it's head, and Hoot thought for a second it might not want to come out at all...and then it broke through the rest of the egg with a quick thrash of all it's limbs. Egg pieces scattered slightly. It looked around the room, and then hiccuped a small ball of fire. Hoot's eyes widened, and her ears drooped slightly. Where was Chopin?
