Woah! That's an EPIC looking car!
surprised Almost makes me wanna draw it, even though I suck at drawing things that aren't human figures. LOL
xd T'would be fun though if I really
could draw it well and accurate, then I could brag to everyone in my tech-drawing class. XD
Grid method is totally your friend here.
3nodding You should try it; I bet you'll like the results.
biggrin »What's a grid method? Is it where you just plan out in individual box-plots, and count them to create more accurate lines/arcs...or something? xd «
Basically, you've got the concept down. All you need to do it is a ruler and some multiplication skills.
3nodding You take your printed-out image you want to recreate, which could be for example, a 3x5 and use the ruler to make tick marks. I like doing a tick mark every inch. (Half inch marks are better for really simple stuff, helps you keep the shape going, but I've rarely if ever used half-inch marks.)Anyways, you measure each side (do NOT flip the ruler though, just slide it down) Once all sides are marked, then you draw a line to connect your tick marks. THEN, you take a blank sheet of paper and do the same process, and if you have a large sheet (say, double the size of 3x5) you just double your measurements.
3nodding Sorry if this confuses you.
