Me and a guy called Grape from another guild have been having a few battles recently in the UU tier and I currently run a choice band Dugtrio with EQ, Stone edge, sucker punch and aerial ace. It's nothing to do with it's power that breaks it, infact it's pretty weak tbh, but it's the ability Arena trap which allows it to trap anything it comes in on that isn't flying or has levitate until either is KO'd that makes up for it. So basically it can take on any pokemon with a Utility set or one that uses moves that ground resists, kill it and switch out straight after for use later on. The Pokemon i've managed to KO so far include the likes of Wigglytuff, Plusle, Magcargo, Zangoose, Hypno, Entei and I think I even managed Ursaring. Some of those were in the same battle too.
So I want your opinions on Dugtrio guys. c: I'm very much in love with it along with Poliwrath and Scyther. Also if anyone knows of any more Pokemon considered broken in UU feel free to write them here, i'd like to know of them. ^^
List of Pokemon Hatagami (My Dugtrio) has managed to revenge kill: Wigglytuff Plusle Magcargo Zangoose Hypno Entei Ursaring Luxray Lucario Claydol (arena trap didn't help however) Milotic Jynx Electrode Swampert Blaziken

I definitely agree with you on Dugtrio. I haven't played any UU battles, but it seems like a huge pain to anything that doesn't fly or have Levitate. In other words, it comes in on something that it can beat & beats it. As for the other pokemon that are broken for UU, I would say Honchkrow. I mean with a huge base attack of 125 & it learns Sucker Punch (which it also gets STAB from). I also think his movepool is actually pretty good thanks to Platinum move-tutors. So, to sum all this up, a Choice Band Honchkrow using STAB Sucker Punch, should be in the OU tier. (At least, that's what I think.)
BTW: How does a Dugtrio use Aerial ace? Does it come out of the ground for it???

Being able to learn superpower and heatwave is a bonus on top of that. [: LoL I ask myself the same question, i'd love to see a flying Dugtrio. x'D

Since I believe when you say UU, you are speaking in regards to the smogon tiers, to be completely honest, Smogon tiers nowadays are complete garbage. Seriously... Charizard, Articuno, Nidoqueen in NU and Manaphy and Latias in OU? Many apologies for going slightly off topic there, but to further explain where I'm going with this, there are alot of idiocracies in the smogon tiers in general that Dugtrio being considered broken is probably very likely.

REVENGE KILL are the words you´re looking for

Or if you hacked R/B/Y to make Dugtrio use Fly, you could use it on Pokemon Stadium One time, I taught my Hitmonlee metronome, I used it on Pokemon Stadium, & it used Fly! Then it just stood there in the air.

Meh I say keep it where it stands (feet to stand on?). It has too little HP for my liking. Seems like a kamakaze to me.

Serge, I completely agree with Kyrenx. They ought to be moved up in teirs. The only logic reason I can think of why they are in that teir is to give themselves excuses for using them as they please. We have a voting system here about the moval of certain pokemon for a very good reason. That reason is that there are other trainers like me and Kyrenx that feel the same way.
Back on Topic, I haven't had the chance to use a Dugtrio, or face one, but I can see where you are coming from. Scyther is a nice one as well. Sword Dance or Agility, holding Focus Sash, then its Ability kicks in and boost X-Siccor, which is also gets a STAB from. Ouch.
Though, regarding UU, there is just one thing I have to say: Ambipom ftw!

Are you forgetting that scyther can learn reversal? with a swords dance in the bag scyther can sweep through a UU team easily with that unless they're packing a priority move or something faster like electrode or a scarfer. It's only limited to the beginning of the game because of entry hazards, or if you want to drop focus sash for salac you can use endure to prevent crap from happening. And how could I forget ambipom!? D: I couldn't agree more. My favourite set ever: Ambipom @ Silk scarf Adamant- 252 atk + 252 speed - Fake out - Last resort Sure it gets completely walled by ghosts but anything else is pretty much screwed. whee

Dugtrio can get a random revenge kill, once you know your opponent has one, you can plan around it accordingly.

I just got myself an Aipom, so I have no idea how to use it. God, being active in this guild again makes me feel like a noob...I never really researched into any of this, I just focused on experimenting and perfecting my technique...which probably has a name that Im not even aware of. sweatdrop

X Dark Serge X smogon does the tiers not based on what they believe, it´s what is more used for the players... so, if latias is OU, it´s because is widely over used by the people... if not with their own pokémon, on shoody battle So your going to tell me that the questionably moving of Manaphy and Latias from Uber into OU didn't affect why so many pokemon got dropped down into UU and NU? Or even in the past how Deoxys-S got dropped down to OU, only to get pushed back into Uber not even a month later thanks to how overcentralized it was in the OU metagame? I can see how Manaphy would be considered OU if they consider Latias to be, but why they even considered it to be OU in the first place while Garchomp remains in the Uber tier (where it is quite ineffective against other Ubers) is just mind boggling. So I reiterate, the new Smogon tiers are garbage. Archolite I'm sorry about that, could you give me a link to the tiers that we use in the guild? Well, in the respects of the word, we don't really have tier lists here. Just an Uber list that is being used more or less like a ban list for OU play. I've considered writing up my own lists, but perhaps such things would only unnecessarily open up a can of worms. Concerning UU/NU battles, I suppose I could dig up the list(s) that was used during the last UU-tournament hosted by Cormini for everyone to use when Cormini rehosts his UU-tourney.
