Its only when he had encountered hybrids did he understand.. Lion hybrids seemed to be very .. distinct with him very.. cunning. He looked for his mother every now and again for answers to the many questions that prompt him. He was a leopard right? Lions.. They eat others so violently... He had not even gone too far and found a firekin from afar. It was terrible the things that it tortured. He was on a journey to find himself... since he found Twana again. It's been a never ending wonderlust of finding himself. How he used to be.. the kind aadi that captured the heart of his mother and event usually know the many secrets when she comes to realize.. the past and the family she has given to him.
It was then in all his roaming about in the night that he stumbled upon forestry area. Woods ... mountains not to distant away. A perfect place to get food maybe? Even stay a night or two.. the woods didn't seem as noisy as he thought.. With all his thinking his brain got numb to his surroundings and his stomach bellowed in an agonizing way to get him to feed.
The dark pelt gave him instant stealth in the darkness and shadows.. which was more comfortable in the time of his identity crisis. When his stomach bellowed again he shook it out and looked up with his purple eyes.. soaked in the thought of how to even hunt. His ears zoning in on small paws.. feet sprinting or hooves hitting the ground. Until he found a set of hooves that seemed to be near.. And that's when he leaned down and started to stalk said hoove sounds..

Amaranta had sneaked away from her family's den. She wanted to practice her hunting. She slipped into the forested area and onward. She was expecting to see anyone in the lands, most of the hunters had come back already and the pride was winding down for the night.
As she slipped through the lands, she spotted a shadow moving. She froze, wondering what she should do, she hadn't anticipated finding much and certainly not something as big as the dark shadow she saw. She moved being as stealthy as possible around the trees trying to get a better look at who ever was moving through the shadow, then realizing that she was being cowardly she puffed out her chest and stood tall, "Hey! You FREEZE this is private land you are on." she hoped that she sounded frightening, and that she wasn't about to get herself in more trouble then she could handle.

See. Aadi didn't know.. But while he was on the verge of jumping on a nearby rabbit the voice startled him, but not JUST him. The rabbit- making him turn back. A good meal gone.. he looked back and not really scared. It was a girl's voice and it seemed sorta demanding attention so that's exactly what he gave her. "Pardon.. me?" A light studder as his ears went down. He didn't exactly see her yet but he knew from the voice's tune that it was small.
"Hello?... WHo-who's there." He gruffed. He wasn't gunna back down.. but if he needed to he'd back down. With all the pride's he encountered.. and non accepted his presence. It was easy to just run in to another..
His tail up in the air- frozen like she said. Waiting for the one whom commanded him to come out.

Amaranta stepped out from behind the tree she had placed her self behind. She wasn't positive as to where the other creature was but she was fairly certain that he would be able to see her now, where she stood.
"You are on private land" she told the intruder, truth be told she wasn't sure that the hunting grounds were private here but she wanted to make the other ones worry. She had managed to keep her posture tall and had all her hair puffed up so that she looked much larger then she was.
"Tell me your name, before I run and get the guards."

"My! My name is Aadi! I didn't meant ta! I didn't know!" Exclaiming as he started pushing himself back and looking until he saw the girl. Tilted his head and looked rather confused.. She was. Small. Well from a little bit she looked big in some different way.. He lifted himself up and leaned forward. Only about a couple feet from her. "Heh.. " Smiled humbly. "I don't mean any harm.. I was just a little hungry.." But once he said that a grumble bellowed within his stomach and caused his belly to suck in a little... With a grunt he pulled his head back and down to hide some sort of pain then slowly looked up. "Where am I anyways ... princess right?" His tail wagged a little and tried to smile again.. lifting his head up. The cool breeze of the night letting his fur loose and unsettled.
The reason.. what was a princess? Well. From what he heard from stories.. Prides had princesses. Girls that were above it all but very different Ones that couldn't be touched by ones like him. Commoners.. Regardless his ears twitched.. "And.. another question.. Can.. I still hunt.. I'm.. sorta hungry...I PROMISE I wont take anything big! I'll even give a big part to you! Just a bite..? Maybe?" A light whimper when his belly roared again.. His cool and calm self.. confused self was a bit off.

Amaranta saw the other leopard come out of the shadows, she was pleasantly surprised by what she saw. She was still young but she knew well enough to know that one day that attraction would be a very important thing, catching herself daydreaming she snapped back to attention. "You may eat here I suppose. But I don't need any of your food my pride feeds me just fine." she told him.
"I am not a princess, my pride doesn't have princesses, we are Romans we don't take part in those barbaric traditions our Cesar is the ruler here, he takes care of us all, he has one heir a male and that is all." she felt very superior to this outsider, she wanted him to know that she was the one that was in charge.
"Go grab something to eat, we can talk more after you have fed that growling stomach."

"Ah...a pride must be good to have then. Feeding yea all the time." He tossed his head up with a wag of his tail. "If we're gunna talk later.. maybe you can walk with me?" The bellow of his tummy growled once more and made him shake his fur a bit. All his mucles tightened and then loosened in that moment. "Pride's are strict too~ so yea can't leave me alone in the lands right? That's what I heard." Nodding as he was taking a few steps towards her and enough til when he was a least a few feet his purple markings clearly outlined him. His butterfly trinkled from the tree tops and gently glided down to his friend..
Aadi gave him a side glance, more to acknowledge him. See, this butterfly ever since he was little.. With his very first puppy crush. He was with this butterfly. It had matched him almost completely and helped him navigate through the lands.. Now here. It rested down and settled on his left ear. "Heh now you come. Don't leave me like~" He whispered then looked to the girl. "So- you coming?" He smiled lightly.. he was a kind child. His mother gave him that as he took a leap in to the dark bushes next to them. Rustling about as it go quiet again only to hear his light paws draw near again.

Amaranta huffed she didn't like being told what to do. She followed the black leopard though and made sure he didn't do anything that wasn't allowed in the pride's lands.
"Do you belong to a pride?" she asked him, she hadn't met very many outsiders, just a god once when she was very young. She was interested by the outside world but would never leave her home to find anything about it. Her home was where she was safe, she had strength her.
She watched the outsider move around, there wasn't a great deal of leopards in the pride that weren't already related to her. And absolutely none that were her age that weren't her siblings, so seeing this outside up close stirred something in her.

"Nope! Me and momma travel a lot, and sorta rare that we ever meet in lands of prides.. we can usually smell'em. But not this one.." He shrugged and looked back at her. "What. How is it having a pride to call your home? I'd hate not to see what the lands has to offer.." His voice stirred a bird but probably not anything too big for dinner. His tail whishing behind him as he then looked up and started to trot a bit. Whatever she had scarred off would be a pretty big distance away by now.
Time for talking! "Anything for dinner would have been scared off a lil ways away. So tell me." In the past- his crush with a wilddog had killed him on the inside. Being called a lion whom killed off wilddogs and such. It was a troubling time but as he reunited with her.. It seemed a lot of those worries went away and now it was slowly beginning to be his old self. Happy.. Little though, did he know about leopards. Just his mom and may in the future know the family he had missed out on.
"We got time right?" Pulling back a little so he could be side by side with her. His butterfly waving about a few feet above their heads.

Amaranta sat beside the male content with their closeness. "Well I don't know anything but living in a pride. My mother lived her before I was born, and me and my siblings were born here. My father is an outsider, something that the pride frowns upon. But I was born during the festival of one of our goddesses, so we weren't deemed slaves thank god."
Amaranta couldn't imagine being a slave, it was an awful thought. "I love my pride I couldn't imagine being anywhere else." She wasn't sure why but she wanted the male to understand that she would never leave here.
"What about you whats being any outsider like?"

"A God?....." Somehow.. that seemed so different but .. it joined. He remembered his mother saying something about meeting a God. Hopefully in his future he would meet said God. "Oh~ So slaves aren't good." SHaking his head. "Heh, Its fun being 'out'. I can see whatever the lands have.. explore. It's fun~ A lot of walking though.." He looked in to the trees.. then found his butterfly. Giving him a signal with his tail to go look for prey..
"You meet many friends.. and life. Its amazing out there... So many animals to see too. I could show you..~" He trailed off.. somewhat in a dream like way. Since she directed him she wasn't leaving. But.. what if she liked what she saw out there.. WHere he came from. What was this all.. Why would he care if.. Well he always cared. About everyone..

Amaranta made a face at the idea of leaving her home, her home was what was safe, she was interested in what else was out there but she would never leave to find out. Home was safe and that was what was important. "Thats a very kind offer" she told the male leopard.
She wasn't sure why but she felt a need to be kind to him, but she found her self acting kinder then she ever had before. It was odd being nice just because it was what her body was telling her, instead of being nice because she wanted something from others.

"Even for.. just a night? See just a little and I could bring you right back." He looked over at her.. a moment to take her in. What does a pride do to you? Hold you down?
Just as he was about to think more on the subject his butterfly fluttered and hit his face. Making a mask across his eyes of his own butterfly. "There is ~?" His voice in wonderment. "He found food. Come on~A herd!" As he jumped and slicked under the bushes. A thick tail showing a somewhat path as he went right to where his butterfly directed to him. Ears slicked back as he got his senses ready for hunt.

Amaranta didn't really think she just followed him chasing after the bob of tail she could see. She wasn't really hungry but she wanted to see him more, and the way to do that was by following him.
She streaked through the trees, had she crossed the borders... it didn't matter she was having fun. It was a strange feeling this freedom. She galloped as quietly as she could, not wanting to scar away the prey this time for her new friend needed.

Not only did he rush for the food but he didn't think that the border was crossed. All he knew was he was following his stomach and once after passing all the brush grove he looked out in to the clearing.. A half sleeping pack of Zebu. Their big muscular body made Aadi's eyes shine. If he could take down one. It'd be an accomplishment but he didn't know if he could take down an adult without his mother so instead he set his sights on the little ones. Children.
His shoulder wings moved up as his body searching the ground. Paws- placing over the rocks in a very quiet way. Turning around to see her- the one that followed. Giving her a look of quietness before he quickly went on to the hunt..
He got all the way behind him in a least a few minutes. Quiet. Only a slight noise but could be mistaken with breeze. After a moment of just waiting.. His focus fixed- he went right up to one of the sleeping children and snagged it to the neck- having it scream in pain. WHich made all the Zebu look at him- and start running after him!
"RUUUNN!!!" Taking the dead child zebu in has maw as he ran with all his might. The butterfly flying high to avoid getting hit.
