Mizu eyes where cold the coldest they've been in a long time she was staring down the male that her little Kana had been spending her every waking moment with. She let out a small snarl before she began to walked over to him. Kana was currently being pestered by Belial a plan the two female made so mizu could get Teleza alone. She moved over to him sitting herself down as looked him over more carefully now. He looked decent looking...maybe,,,just maybe he could be good enough for her Kana.

Teleza had just been standing, enjoying the air of the day, when his black eyes saw a female coming towards him. A large female. Being a gaint himself, he'd never seen a lioness that was in his size range. It was quite.....daunting. His past profession had given him an extreme fear of large lionesses, but he shoved it aside, knowing that this pride was different, and the females were different.
His eyes watched her movements carefully, shifting his large paws on the ground slowly. He wasn't about to go and just blurt something out, not after seeing her expression. No, he decided long ago that when he was approached by a female in such a manner, he'd simply wait and see what they had to say.

"So your the Mister." She said bluntly as she looked him over a bit more before sighing. "i don't understand it...honestly I just don't get it at all!" She snapped a little before looking her paws. "Maybe she just a early bloomer but really...honestly? Your allowing this to happen." She snarled out clearly not approving of the two relationship.

Blinking a few times, Teleza stared at her, trying to look as gentle as he could. He was taken off-guard at first, not knowing what the female was talking about, but her words didn't take long to explain her meaning. "You.....you're Kana's mother, aren't you?" His deep voice echoed a bit, and he flattened his ears back, like a small cub that just got in trouble. "I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, miss." They were just friends, right? Sure, it was an odd pair, a young cub and an lion. But there was no way that Kana shared his feelings.....right?
"Do you not approve of her being with me? I assure you...." His voice kind of died out, not really wanting to admit that their relationship was nothing more than friendly. His eyes were drawn to the ground, and he kept his head low.

She blinked now it was her turn to be taken off-guard as she watched him before glaring just a bit more. "Yes I just so happen to be her." She said before looking out the cornor of her eye making sure the little ccub was no where in sight as she moved closer to him sneering.
"If you so much as lay a paw on her I will find in the darkest moment of the night and slay you and make you appear as if you where never here at all." she growled coldly at him as she looked him over before pulling away.
"Though...She does seem happy with you so you can't be all bad but you look as though you are as old as me." She said before looking away from him trying to calm herself.

Teleza's eyes traced the ground, taking her words in. He had to admit, he was feeling the slightest bit aggravated by her threats, but after his new outtake on life, he swore to himself to never harm without cause. He'd just keep those details of his past to himself, he supposed. Besides, she had every right to be upset; if he had a daughter that was becoming a little too friendly with an older male, he'd probably slit the male's throat in a heartbeat.
But this....he couldn't just let Kana go. "Does she really?" Teleza blushed slightly; it made him so happy to hear that she was happy with him. "I just.....I'm so happy when she's around." Teleza was almost hesitant to admit it, but he felt that her mother had the right to know how he felt about her.

She watched him a moment before giving a small nod sighing. She didn't have it in her to tell him no he couldn't be with her daughter after all she was adopted so she didn't like telling Kana to do all the time. She looked to her paws before looking to Teleza's face.
"We'll see what happens...just don't push her to do anything that girl will do anything if you tell her its fun." She said rolling her eyes.

His ears perked up, the tension lessened as she didn't complete get infuriated by his words. He nodded, the end of his tail wrapping around a back paw. "I.....thanks." He dipped his head, letting out an almost laugh. He was relieved that she'd allow him this happiness with her daughter. "I promise, I'll take good care of her." His eyes were eased, and he thought of coddling the small gray cub. "If anyone will push anyone around, I think she'll push me." He laughed nervously; if he really thought about it, he wasn't the pushing type, not anymore. And when he saw that adorable little face, he just couldn't say no to it.

She couldn't help but laugh at that nodding a little. "I don't doubt it." She siad shaking her head as she looked her her paws. "She's an oddball but that doesn't mean I don't care for her..." She said letting the male know this is why she had approuched him.

Teleza eased, once more returning to his giant appearance. He had shrunk down as Kana's mother approached him, but he felt now that he almost had her approval. "She's an angel." He smiled; he meant every word that he said. It was kind of odd, as he was admitting it to himself that he had fallen for a small cub. No matter how wrong it seemed, he couldn't deny it. "Family is family, after all." He understood completely how she felt; Teleza never had the chance of having a mother fuss over him. She had been killed with the rest of the pride, and Teleza had spiraled down a horrible path after that. That may have been what drew him to Kana: her innocence, her purity.

She smiled softly as she relaxed more as she laid out on the ground strethching a little "Yes she is a sweet little angel Gods know she has the voice of one." she said laughing as she looked over seeing the letting gray cub getting away from her adopted aunt and running off giggling as Belial roared out angered as she chased the anught cub. "Oh lord...." She sighed heavily.

"She does." Teleza found that he adored everything about the small cub. He couldn't bear the thought of her not being by his side, tumbling around like the cute little thing she was.
His eyes slid to the side, trying to watch where the blue lioness' eyes drifted off to. It didn't take long to see what was going on, and his heart skipped as he watched Kana from afar. "Can I.....can I go to her?" He looked down at her mother sheepishly, wanting to go coddle the little cub, finding it hard to watch her being reprimanded.

She watched the a moment before nodding a little. "I think it might be good...better hurry before she become Belial lunch though!" She said laughing nowing Belial rather but knew the lioness would never do anything to a cub let alone a fellow sister of the pride.

"Thank you." Teleza dipped his head once more, then turned, watching a few moments more the small cub that he'd steal away from the world if he could. He moved just a paw at first, then started out in a complete run, running over to the little cub. It seemed like fate, now that he had the graces of her mother, and it just seemed like all of the suffering in his early life was meant as a payment for this happiness.
