Azzo, some how, despite a broken knee, arm, and a few ribs managed to crawl himself back to his door. He was broken. Not only in body but in spirit too. Everything that'd happened, his head screamed at him that it was his fault.
His fault everyone was dead and these, these, negaversers, (if that's what they really were called or if that's just what the news came up with) could control the bodies of those dead. He'd only really killed three people this year but with that dream, he was convinced it was four.
His head hung as he awkwardly sat up. The pain was slowly numbing, his mind no longer really reacting though he could feel it. Still in Shock, he was muttering to himself he had no energy to walk, and he had no will to make himself walk.
So he was just slumped there, thinking about how Nealite had made him attack the only people that could help him. And Attack the only person he actually cared about. However, now he wasn't so sure if he'd even really cared about her...
Of course there was only so much torture a soul could take before it was completely broken.

There had been two times she had blanked out. Two times in which Yvette had been with a friend one moment, and then without the friend the next moment. Each time her friends disappeared, she had felt a deep sadness. She had done something wrong. She had hurt them. She had assumed the worst.
Despite her pessimistic outlook on the whole situation, there were still questions to be answered. It had grown dark outside, causing the world to get quite cold. It didn't bother Yvette, seeing as she was already quite thoroughly dead. She staggered across campus, in search of answers to any question that had come to mind, yet found nothing.
Feeling thoroughly defeated, she made her way back towards the start of this whole journey: the dormitory. The building was not really much of a building anymore, since the fire devoured it, but it was the first place she had seen Topher at after she woke up. The dark-haired girl began to cry in her hands, which had grown claws that went unnoticed. The blood from Kimmie was still smeared over her face, though it was now dried and cracking slightly.
She sobbed notably loud as she staggered into the ruins of the dorms before plopping herself down in a pile of ash.
She was crying out of loneliness.
She was crying out of fear.
She was crying because she was hungry.

Maybe his body had gone numb because it was working to heal itself... though being dead how much could really heal? His mental state would never heal. It would never be the same for him.
His eyes twitched before his head moved. Looking for the sobbing, he knew it wasn't coming from him. When he spotted her his brow lofted, he couldn't remember her name. He'd seen her before though, he just knew it.
"Why are you crying?" Came his voice it was soft yet held the mood of a worn out solider, one's who's PTSD caused him to stay up night after night, never sleeping, never eating. One who was ready to give up on life and die.
His eyes stayed still on her, not noticing the claws or how green her skin actually was.

Her ears barely could hear the boy's voice, but they did manage to catch his gentle question. She moved her hands away from her face and looked towards the source. Had her eyes been normal, they would have been wide and doe-like. Yet, instead all that greeted him were a lifeless pair of eyes that were pure white. Her eyes had rolled up into her head, but she still seemed able to see somehow.
All in all, Yvette was not a pleasant sight to see, with her claws, green skin, rolled-up eyes, and blood smeared face.
She was completely oblivious to this fact. Instead, she looked towards the boy and found instead of a basic boy, a monster. This was the first time she had seen any of the dead-students for what they really were, and in all honesty, she was now scared. Her body trembled a bit as she squeaked out in her tiniest of voices "S-stay away..."

Azzo looked at Yvette, head tilting as he looked at his hands and shook his head. He'd noticed her eyes but yet he chose to say nothing of them.
He closed his eyes, seemingly having trouble breathing. "I... I can't do anything." He muttered, "You're safe. My leg's broken, my arm and I think a few ribs..."
He was trying to speak a bit louder, however it wasn't that much louder than the first question came. His eyes still shimmered with tears, "are you okay?" He added as he took her in for the first time, noticing the same claws and green skin, along with the blood on her hands.

Despite the words of reassurance, the dark-haired girl remained cautiously distanced. She had always been the shy one, the one who easily got startled, and the one was always quiet. From where she had been standing, she carefully looked over the strange creature in front of her. It did look vaguely human-shaped, and it did look quite mangled.
With that observation, she eased one step forward. It wasn't a whole lot, but at least she was now closer. She seemed hesitant to answer the question. Eventually, her body eased enough to honestly shake her head from side to side. No, she wasn't okay! She didn't tell this strange creature how she had injured or killed two of her friends. She didn't tell him about the excruciating pain all based from her stomach. She didn't tell him how she was blacking out for extended periods of time. All he would get was that simple head-shaking gesture.

Azzo watched her his head canting slightly to the side as if it was resting on the wall still trying to support his self. "Do I know you?" He asked curiously as he watched her, still tired sounding.
When she shook her head no, he pondered softly looking up at the door handle that he didn't bother to try to reach. His stomach, even though his body was numb gave a gurgle, received with a unpleasant look and the boy telling it to shh. "I wish I could help..." He started before shaking his head, it was sort of a lie, he wished he could just die, but he didn't want to see anyone else in pain, or being fearful of themselves. They could all blame him if they needed he was broken enough he'd not really fight the idea that it was his fault.

It took her a moment, but eventually 3 words escaped the girl, "I'm Yvette Weaver..."
Of course, Yvette Weaver had infamously been known for being quiet. Despite the long, nearly black hair, this zombie girl didn't even look the part of that gentle girl. Her clawed fingers grabbed onto her stomach, clutching herself as she let out a deep groan.
She was in pain, but she couldn't afford to black out here. If she did, she couldn't tell what would happen. In retaliation to her stomach, she squeaked out a tiny "No... not again... p-please... not again..." She huddled over herself, her thin body trembling as she attempted to resist the pang of hunger consuming her body.

Azzo paused thinking, "I... think we had a class together...." He seemed to try to figure out if they actually had or not. "Name's Azzo" He added, assuming she wasn't sure who he was either, what with the green skin and everything.
He watched her frowning slightly. He couldn't really go anywhere. It took him a second to figure out what was going on, it was going to be like his dream, most likely. However he'd end up being the one eaten. As he was already lame, and it's just survival of the fittest he suddenly gave her a reassuring smile, if she could see it. "It'll be okay." He said softly, nodding, perhaps he was slightly looking forward, not to being eaten, but to the end. "This nightmare will end soon enough I'm sure, they'll get bored. Things'll be back to normal at some point."
He nodded, "When it is, everything will be realized as a bad dream.... it's all just a bad dream." He was saying this to reassure her but also to keep himself calm. Even if the boy was tried and drained.

The body stopped trembling.
Maybe Azzo would think it was due to his words, but that was far from the truth. Her body knew there was some sort of meat in the room. As disgusting as the meat itself looked, it still was something it could fill up on.
On its own, the body pushed itself up, causing a bit of ash to puff up into the air. Where as Yvette was able to move around fine earlier, now the body moved as if it was heavy. The girl's head was nearly dangling in front of her, as if it was too heavy to hold up. Slowly, she made her way towards the broken zombie boy. Her teeth were already bared, ready to take a bite into his dry flesh.
As she drew close, she fell down to her knees. Though there was not a drastic change in her eyes, something still seemed off now. Much like a wolf that had been starved and was finding its first meal in a long time, she lunged at the boy, her body's animal instinct seeming to have taken over.

The first few times he was attacked he made some sort of noise, no screaming.... Nothing. For a moment, the pain was delayed from the numbness as he watched her attach herself to his shoulder. His eyes had time to widen. That was before he actually screamed. The pain that hit him, twice as hard as any broken bone or any other scar that'd been inflicted. Having coupled the broken bones with being eaten.
It was a terrible faith but something that had come down on him. Something he'd brought on himself. He couldn't even bring himself however to fight back. So after the first point of pain all he could do is chuckle. As if he was a mad man.

For a moment, the girl just fed on the flesh of his neck, tearing pieces off and devouring them practically whole. Yet, as he dared to make any sort of noise with his mouth, her attention seemed to be grabbed. With his own blood smeared across her face, she pressed her face nearly into Azzo's. It would have almost seemed as if she was kissing the boy, but her teeth were instead grabbing onto what flesh was in this noisy section of the body. Her lips curled for a smile as she gulped down some more meat before diving in for more.

He was still chuckling until she ripped out his tongue, slowly he felt the life flowing from his body. As blood was being lost, until finally she'd hit a jugular Vein. His pain didn't last much longer, nor did the queasiness in his stomach, as his blood, warm blood spilled down his throat choking him and running out of his mouth.
His eyes went lifeless as she literally ate him alive. His last few moments he couldn't say anything, thought he hoped everyone forgave him.
For everything.....

She continued to pick off flesh in a fashion similar to a vulture before she eventually stopped. It was exactly what had happened with Kimmie. The body she had latched onto for nourishment was no longer useful to her.
Pushing the now faceless Azzo's lifeless head to the ground, her body once again got up. It was like a shark who had just succumbed to a feeding frenzy. The body was not satisfied with just filling up with the flesh of another zombie. It staggered off, a new coat of blood painting the zombie girl's face, in search of food.
Like many times before, it had been a fruitless search. About an hour later, Yvette would regain consciousness in one of the bathrooms. It was abandoned, and still relatively in tact. She would have started crying if she had not managed to catch a look in the mirror. She yelped in surprise at what she saw.
She, Yvette, was a bloody monster.
Her sobs would echo off the bathroom walls, giving ample warning to any students still alive. Her confusion had only grown exponentially, and now more than ever, she was afraid of herself. She cradled herself, on the floor leaning against one of the toilets, crying without any tears being shed.
What had she done? What had she done?!
