Then I would love to hear it. This is an amazing show, done by my band in 2005. This was my sister's freshman year, and the year we got 4th at State. (I was in 5th grade, not even in band, btw.) The Hypar Effect- John M. MeehanThe 2nd number is... breathtaking. I'm pretty sure the trumpet soloist is crying during his/her solo.

Oh non rien de rien... Oh non je ne regrette rien
Our show theme this year is by Meehan, too. Clockworks. It's on that list. I still love our 3rd movement...
He likes writing epic stuff, doesn't he?
Also, my grammar fails this morning. Wenn ich ihre Haut verließ, Der Frühling blutet in Paris!

Clockworks is a cool field show piece. Low Brass melody in movement 3 ftw. Yeah. This year we have a new director, who claims he's going to write original music. I highly doubt it, but whatever. ;P EDIT: Also, the 2008 show (WHICH I DID NOT MARCH) used the music of Pandemonium- also a Meehan. The field show was 'The Twilight Zone'. Gee, the old director liked Meehan...

I love Meehan's shows. Fear, Laws of Motion, The Hypar Effect, Clocks.. I haven't heard Clockworks, but Clocks is amazing too. Hypar Effect, though..... it's so close to the heart to me. And shockingly beautiful.

There's a MIDI version on that site thar, and the 1st movement is on youtube, along with most of the 3rd(recorder failed to record second and beginning of 3rd)

This is my band performing as the exhibition band at a festival this past October. It was probably our best performance I've ever been a part of in the three years I've been here. That loud noise in the background is wind, it was POURING during the show (you can kind of see it on the video). Epic Monty Python Show
