From The Desk of Thaddeus Grimlock

Dear Friends,
Has anyone else noticed anything peculiar around Anachronism, especially the lower decks?
I for one have seen an odd few many things such as:
-An inside out airship
-A small man made out of leather who insisted i call him "Snee"
-A talking wall
-A room filled with prehistoric people

Are some of these anomalies to do with the large amount of lead paint in the lower decks? Or perhaps something streanger?
Has anyone else noticed anything pecuilar?

By jove! A talking wall?! Most peculiar, however I do seem to recall such a wall, i believe that was the very same night i found that bar aboard the ship. Just the same i think we should further investigate these matters.

Hm... just last night i saw something unusual... I'd stayed up late reading, then decided to head to the galley for some cookies. En route i encountered a rather large hirsute individual carrying a big red sack sneaking about the lower decks. He was dressed rather oddly, looked like he used white rabbits as trim for his ensemble. I chased him down the hall, thinking he was making off with some of our valuables, but when i turned a corner he was gone! I'm thinking i should probably lay off the absinthe for a while... hm.

AH!
I was wondering where those newly baked cookies were. We'll get him next time.

Oh dear. The leather man I can account for. I found him wandering in the South African jungles and thought he'd enjoy life here in Anachronism. Unfortunately, he has escaped from my quarters and I can't seem to track him down. If you encounter him again, please do return him to me, as I doubt he is familiar with all the peculiarities of life in a floating city.

As for the other anomalies, I am afraid that your guess is as good as mine.

I must account for the talking wall, it was the results of a ethereal overlay. It happens time to time when exiting the ethereal realm in a hurry running from daemons.

I apologise for the prehistoric troglodytes.

After a recent and somewhat unexpected leap through time, space, and quite possibly universes, I discovered a tribe of them living under constant threat from a giant gorilla and a large amount of impossible reptiles living together on a small tropical island. I could hardly leave them there, so (instead of capturing it to bring it back to the Anachronism, as my patron wished) we shot the gorilla through the head as it tried to steal one of our women and then took the savage natives back with us.

I do hope they shan't be a problem. They do have a tendancy to try to sacrifice young women to the boiler, but they're mostly harmless.

Yours sincerely,

Never! We shall embrace the fate of Elizabeth Siddal, and the Anachronism may be our Rosetti.

Legend has it there are whole civilizations of opium-lovers still down there, surviving purely on Dominos pizza and Mars bars.

Dear: Occupants

I have been asked to say a word on behalf of the universe.

I have been experimenting.

I offer no explanations, nor do I apologize.

Furthermore, I promise absolutely nothing with regards to future occurances.

~Sincerely

W. von Sinn

PS: Don't touch my troglodytes stare ...

the lower decks? Oh dear... I confess I lost some cargo down there last year. I have no idea what was inside. it may account for something.

Also, I appear to have lost my mini-clank.
