More snow in the forecast. Plenty of it. I hate it because it is cold and driving in it, walking through it, and doing chores in it sucks. I love it because it is beautiful and because I my job on the side is that of a gardener. Moisture means I can stop getting my hands soaking (by accident of course) in 30 degree weather when I have to water because everything is so dry and the sprinklers are all turned off. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else felt the same love/hate of snow.

{Sunrise}//(Make me feel life) (Sunset)//{Make me feel love} I dislike snow. It's bitterly cold, a pain to deal with (whether its moving it out of the driveway or driving it in), and you have to wear many layers of clothes to survive in it, which takes up a lot of time to put on. The only thing I ever liked about snow was skiing, but I've gotten out of shape so I can't do it anymore.
But, then again, I live in San Francisco bay area, which never, ever gets snow, so it could just be that I'm not used to it.

I mostly dislike snow. I hate shoveling, I hate the cold, I hate the idiot drivers, the way the buses are always late I hate getting it in my shoes. It's pretty when it first falls, but after that the cars trample it and it gets all gray...
Though snowball fights are kinda fun.

I've never seen snow in my entire life... which I guess is ok? = 3 = Since I'm probably going to be moving someplace where it snows a lot and stay there for the rest of my natural life. So at the moment, I'm going to enjoy not having snow... But I have to admit it looks pretty...
biggrin Good thing I'm going to work from home haha~ I hope my house has heating. razz My bf will be in charge of all the snow stuff because he's so set on living someplace where it snows a lot... and I know I'm going to miss my California winters were all we get is chilly weather and the occasional rain storm. :'(

I love snow until like New Years'. After that it gets all dirty and gross and a bother... which really sucks when we have like 6 feet of it and we're still getting storms in April.

Snow is pretty, gives water, and I actually don't mind shovelling it if I'm properly bundled up and paid very well.
It is also cold, wet, and makes my mom nervous about driving, or letting anyone else drive.

definately a love-hate relationship on my part. it's December, i'm in Canada and there's yet to be any substantial amounts of snow <.< and i have this thing about white Christmas'...it just doesn't seem right when there's no snow on the ground. so i'm really wishing it would finally get cold enough for enough snow to stay on the ground for a while. but as for the hate part, it seems that most years i don't really think about whether or not i get a white Christmas, and all i'm thinking about is "getmeawayfromthisstupidstuffihatelivinginCanadaihateshovellingihateslushihatecoldihatewinter". not to mention my brother and i none-too-affectionately call our dad the "shovel Nazi" because "you have to shovel the WHOLE sidewalk and scrape it down!" "there's a fresh layer of snow on the ground; shovel it! even if it's not even a centimetre!" "you're not doing it right! you do it THIS way! okay, now get to work!" "how come the crap from the snow plow isn't shovelled? didn't you shovel?" GOD SHUT UP DAD! scream but i have a slightly smaller hate of snow since i quit delivering papers. having to walk around in 2 feet of snow where most of the people on the street you deliver don't shovel their sidewalks carrying 20 papers (per round, since i had at least an average of 40 papers to deliver) that weigh at least a pound due to the shear number of flyers each makes you detest the job, the weather and the customers. the aftermath of freezing rain (other than the slippery roads and sidewalks) is really cool though biggrin you get pictures like these: (taken from my yard a couple years ago)

I completely love it!
It's beautiful when untouched, and when it snows it means that it's around 32 degrees which means that it's TEN TIMES WARMER then when it doesn't snow!
I'm a bell ringer this year, and it's been FREEZING! I want it to snow!

Since I'm in Wisconsin for most of the year, I've gotten used to dealing with it. Last year we had snow on the ground from November to April. I love the stuff. It's utterly gorgeous when it falls and is really the only kind of weather that creates absolute stillness and silence. It's really gorgeous, whether it's perfect, white and untouched, or all gray and grimy from the city. I love it in all of its forms.
But I hate the cold. xD

{Sunrise}//(Make me feel life) (Sunset)//{Make me feel love} OKAY, I THINK THAT THIS TOPIC TOTALLY JINXED ME.
You know how I said that it never snows in my town? Well, it never does. EVER. And it snowed today.
D:
My whole town is freaking out. All of my friends want to go sledding now, but the snow melted by noon. Hopefully it'll snow again.

don't worry xd i think i kinda got jinxed too, because it started snowing today and while it wasn't much, it's stuck to the ground, and the weather forecast is calling for an all-out storm later this week rofl 'scuse me while i promptly bash my head against a wall for tempting fate.

I love snow as long as I'm indoors or feeling very creative, haha. I've been known to make a pretty mean snowman when I can stand to be outside in the cold for that long. I'm a big fan of warm weather, so snow usually doesn't sit well with me if I have to be outside in it.
