Urban legends often spark out of something bizarre that occurs in real-life, be it an unusual photo of a man who looks like a goat, or a strange man running around with an axe in a bunny outfit, or a forum that invents a legend, only to have spottings of the invented character in various parts of the world.

There are several of these "monster-men" floating around the US, and various parts of the world, and some people, despite obvious evidence pointing to their fabrication, believe they've seen it. Theories exist that spirits will attach themselves to a fabrication, and adopt it for the sheer sake of flattery. So is it possible, that the Slenderman, created at somethingawful forums, could actually be wandering around, peering through the monkey bars on a children's playground, or approaching you under a streetlamp on a foggy night? Could the goatman be wandering around the backwoods of Florida, like a deranged animal, or worse, the devil-incarnate? Will the Bunnyman, an eccentric, hostile native (according to the documented evidence that spawned the legend), kill those who park beneath the famous bridge on halloween night?

Are these creatures real, or made real by spirits who like the stories, or is it all just a bunch of horse-s**t?
