(( OOC: This RP is meant for Trainees and Grunts alike! Seth will be leading a group of them into Makko town to swipe Pokemon from unsuspecting n00b trainers. Join in the fun! This will go on until it... stops. I will be NPCing the trainers to steal from in this RP.)) "All right, listen up!" Seth's voice bellowed across the sandy beach just outside of Makko Town. A caravan of unmarked Rocket SUVs had been stashed behind a thick grove of palms to conceal them from the general public. A gathering of Rocket grunts and trainees were now circled around him, all dressed in casual attire... the Elite agent included. "This is a practice run to see how competent you are at stealing Pokemon. There are mostly kid trainers with their little level 5 starters here. So this should be easy." Naturally he didn't mention that the occasional experienced trainer might be around as well. "Each of you need to bring back one Pokemon. You can keep it, if it isn't something the Boss would like, or hand them over to me if you don't." Cold blue eyes scanned the group. "You're here in disguise for obvious reasons. Don't even think about coming back without a Pokemon. And if you get caught by the cops, I'm not bailing you out. ... Any questions?"

Near the back of the group, one trainee nudged his sunglasses up closer to his face and tugged his cap a little further down as he listened to their instructions. He was loath to admit it, but he was a little nervous. As only a trainee, this was his first mission, and with so many other Rockets in the group - several grunts, he noted, who were bound to have much more experience than himself by now - there was going to be a lot of competition to succeed. Still, the Rocket codenamed Roar was determined to not fail. After all, how humiliating would that be to fail his very first mission? Besides, stealing from rookie trainers should be easy enough.
...should be.

Lotte looked up at the sky and yawned. Seth was droning on about this new mission -- Lotte's first mission, to be exact -- and well, Lotte wasn't particularly interested in the details. Steal a Pokemon, report back, then go back to HQ and take a nice, well-deserved nap.
Her eyes wandered the crowd of Rockets, sizing them up. Some were nervous and antsy Trainees, wanting to prove themselves to get a promotion. Some were Grunts that had done this sort of thing dozens of times before. And there were a few in the crowd who, like Lotte, were just mildly bored with the whole thing. She shoved her hands in her sweatshirt pockets and stared down at her Trainer's belt, with exactly two Pokeballs attached. She plucked one of them from its resting place on her hip and put it next to her cheek. "Well, we might as well get this over with, eh, Raishiro?", she whispered to the small orb in her hand. "Heh, let's show these guys what we're made of."

Agent Foxy, otherwise known as Suchi by her sister and other family members, gazed out at the unsuspecting trainers with a smile. On her shoulder was a pichu of peculiar coloration - white and navy blue - named Elior. He was her starter pokemon, and both of them were quite looking forward to this mission, even if it was relatively simple. That didn't matter, though. This was it! This was their chance to prove themselves to Seth and the higher-ups within the organization.
She was not going to let them down.

When there seemed to be no questions, Seth nodded approvingly. Time to see what these new recruits were made of. Hopefully he wouldn't have to kick all of them out. That would be rather inconvenient. "Good. Now get going! Spread out and don't attract too much unwanted attention. If you don't return within two hours, you're getting left behind." Now it was time for him to sit back and wait.

Taking a deep, cleansing breath to calm his nerves, Roar started away once everyone was dismissed. He trailed a little behind so he could see where the others were headed, and once he determined that, he started in the direction where not quite so many were going. It would not do to have too much competition. He stroked the lone pokéball on his belt for luck as he looked for a target.

Suchi couldn't help but laugh at Seth's last statement. Anyone who didn't make it back would be left behind, now that was funny. A true statement, sure, but definitely humorous. The Rocket grunt couldn't help but feel sorry for those who got left behind. She definitely wouldn't be one of them, that was for sure. She wasn't that stupid. Her parents raised her better. Now Nadali on the other hand - she would get left behind. Her twin sister wasn't called Reckless for nothing, after all.
"Pichu, pii~"
At her pokemon's comment, all the grunt could do was nod and set off. "I'm one step ahead of you, Elior," she told her baby pokemon. He already had his sights set on someone, it seemed, because the pichu had raised his paw up and pointed off into the distance. Trainers would be out there. Ones just open and waiting to get their innocent pokemon taken from them.
Oh, how much fun this would be~

As soon as Seth finished saying something, Lotte became aware that everyone was starting to scatter. Fixing her headband (which always had a way of falling off), she ran towards the port section of town. Lotte had always been quite fond of the sea. Maybe it had something to do with where she was raised, or maybe it was something else entirely. She wasn't sure.
Lotte once again plucked the Pokeball she had been holding earlier from her Trainer's belt, this time, releasing the Pokemon held within. "Come on out, Raishiro!", she chuckled. She felt tiny paws on her back and then on her neck. Little snuffles of breath puffed on her bare skin and she giggled.
Chu! Pi... pi?
Lotte giggled again. Raishiro was a tiny Pichu that was, incidentally, her very first Pokemon, received long ago. Raishiro was a... special Pichu. She didn't know of any other Pichu that were white, blue, and black. To this day, she had no idea what caused him to have such unique coloring. But she loved him just the same.
Lotte looked at her Poketch and determined that she had wasted about ten minutes staring off into the ocean with Raishiro peeking out from behind Lotte's curtain of hair, perched on her shoulders. She sighed and decided she should probably get to work. While on her way back to the main part of town, she suddenly spotted her target for today.

There was a bright smile on her face, and she seemed to be totally oblivious to the other people milling about. At least for now.

"Perfect. Let's go, Shiro!" Lotte's grand target happened to be a little girl in a bathing suit and an inner tube. She trotted along, clutching the tube, and heading straight for the water. Alongside her was a little Squirtle with a pink bow on its head. "Come on, Squirty! I'll race you to the water!" "Squirtle squirt!"

There was a bright smile on her face, and she seemed to be totally oblivious to the other people milling about. At least for now. The purple-haired girl; she was perfect!
Upon seeing her, Agent Foxy stopped in her tracks. She needed to wait. The last thing she wanted to do was to rush into a situation like this. Rushing, she knew, would only prove to be disastrous. No, she had to take a different approach. Suchi had to be cautious, otherwise she'd lose her chance of obtaining a pokemon like Seth had asked for, and that was the last thing she wanted. As she stared at the girl in the distance, Foxy weighed her options. Hmm...what could she do? If she approached the girl, she might consider her to be suspicious. Better not to risk it. That was when a thought occurred to her. Elior! She could send Elior!
"Go on, lil' guy," Suchi told her Pichu as she motioned for him to go over to the girl, "work your magic."
The Pichu was off without a second thought. Off he scampered down his trainer's shoulder, and off in the direction of the purple haired girl. It didn't take him long, and a moment later he was standing directly in front of her on the ground in front of the bench. With wide, brown eyes he gazed up at the girl, and as if on cue those eyes started to wobble.
Three. Two. One.
"PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII," Elior cried, tears streaming down his blue cheek-pouches.
The waterworks had begun.

Casually, Roar stepped over and put on his best winning smile as he addressed the kid, "Hey - whatcha got there? Seem pretty excited 'bout it." He needed to keep the kid's guard down, make him think he was harmless. Roar did not want to fail this mission.

The waterworks had begun. The sudden bawling from the Pichu was more than enough to get the girl's attention. Blinking in surprise, she closed the box and stared down at the oddly colored mouse. "Oh my, your poor thing!" Setting the box on the bench, she bent down in front of the Pichu. "There there... what's wrong, little guy?"

"Hey... you woudln't happen to be a trainer too, would ya? I wanna battle someone! Would you like to, mister? Huh? HUH?!"
