Dear mod,
I am writing to you on behalf of the Poll Haven Guild. We would like to request that our current captain and vice captain both be demoted out of power. At the time I am writing this our captain's last login was 10/23/2008
(As can be seen in figure 1.) and out vice captain's last login was 02/23/2009.
(Figure 2.) Both have been inactive in the guild since long before their last log-ins to Gaia. Long enough that the last posting shown for both in the members list is only a blank space.
(Figure 3.)It has only been by the joint effort of the active mods that the guild has been kept alive and running as long as it has. But without a captains power we are severely limited in our ability to maintain the guild and help it grow. This is especially true when it comes to the appointment of additional new mods as old ones become inactive. But it's also a problem when it comes to using guild funds, building sub-forums, and fixing banner image links.
We would like instead to instate our official guild mule (currently a crew member) to captain so that the mods who have been sharing ruling responsibilities over the guild these many years can continue to do so together.
The demotion of our captain and co-captain has been brought up many times in the past and the members have always been in agreement that an inactive captain should step down so those taking care of the guild will have the power to do so. At this point the captain and co-captain have been inactive in the guild for so long that most active members have never even spoken to them.
We'd appreciate any help or information you can give us.
