Having wrestled the phone away from Penny, who had been engrossed in arguing with customer service people, Mareike took the stairs up to her room two at a time. It wasn't that the wrath girl needed privacy for the call she was about to make, more that if she was anywhere visible with the phone someone else would inevitably need it more than her and steal it away.
A moment later, flopped belly down on her her bed she dialed Ebony's number. The female lust spawn was becoming one of her closer friends these days and she had a non sexual proposition for her.

Ebby, who'd been in the process of putting Shiraz down for a nap, blinked as she realized her phone was making a bit of nose. Settling the younger girl down as quickly as possible, she darted out of the room to answer.
"Hello?"

" Hey Ebby it's Mareike" okay now how did the rest of the conversation go? " Are you busy right now?" The thistle haired girl mentally sighed, it sounded like she was asking the other on a date.

"Nope, you called at about the right time. I just finished putting Shiraz down for a nap, Sinny's playing his games, Bailey's out and Mom's who knows where." she laughed, completely missing any date implications, "What's up?"

"There's this place I want to check out, Taylor keeps talking about it, it's where his friend Shylock lives" she explained. " I was wondering if you'd come with me?" It was ungodly hard for her to admit she needed moral support for this which might if things work out be a step towards independence.

"Oh, where does he live?" the pink haired girl inquired pleasantly, "I'd love to come with you. There were a few places I wanted to stop too. I saw this poster for a place called Cirque de la Lune holding emergency auditions for some show or another and I was thinking of trying out."

Mareike didn't even attempt to stifle a snort there and just shook her head rather amused. " That would be where we're going so I guess that's convenient." Not too surprising though after all Mareike had learned never to guess what sort of things Ebony might be interested in. " You want to meet me at the bus stop closest to there then?" Probably the best idea since Mareike was still an unsafe driver.

"Sure. Bailey's out today so he can't drive me. I'll see you there then!" Ebby told her before hanging up the phone and going to get dressed so she could go out. Her mother and Sinny were home so they could keep an eye on Shiraz if she got up. The teen had a friend to meet.

Mareike hung up and headed downstairs, well if nothing else she'd have Ebony to accompany her on this little adventure.
Eventually she reached the bus stop and looked around to see if the lust girl had beaten her there or not.

Ebby's home was a tad farther from any bus stops at all so she took a little longer to get there. "Sorry Mare. Bus system's a little awkward to get to from my house." she explained sheepishly.
The teen walked over, wrapping an arm around Mare's and smiling. "Come on, let's go, shall we?"

The duo found Cirque pertty quickly from there - it was rather hard to spot. Ebby noticed a sign leading towards audition signups. "Hey, can we stop in there quickly? If they're taking signups I'd like to get a spot on the list."

"That's fine" provided the line wasn't ungodly long or anything, Mareike had never been good about waiting in lines for things that took less time than the waiting itself. "What sort of thing would you want to do here?" she asked curiously.

"Dancing and singing." she explained, "They have auditions for a part in one of their shows and I think it's for extra chorus spots."
The teen hurried in with her friend and spotted a sign up sheet. A nice lady informed them that the real rehearsals would begin in a couple of hours so they just had to put their names down if they were going to try out and then they were free for a while. Ebby nodded, noting there weren't too many names on there at the moment, so she hurriedly scheduled a time for herself and went to wait by the door, in case Mare wanted a chance to sign up.

Mareike stared at the sheet fora moment before scribblign her name down. This was a bit earlier than she;d planned to try for something and not the area she was best in but it would be a first taste of what trying out here was like. The wrath spawn was rarely one to waste an opportunity given.
Once done she made her way back over to Sbby " So where to now?"
