Some guilds are just really slow. And things are never as exciting as they are when you start with them, it's just a matter of time before things become routine.

I see it more of a team effort, once you reply to all you have to comment on, it's rather difficult to post more until someone else does, and the same for them. As fewer topics are replied to, there's less new material to comment on and it slows down, I think things'll pick up around here soon though.

The main guild I post in is pretty slow at the moment as well, I've already filled the whole main page with my name twice now lol
