ABOUT THE DRAGONName: Clover (Cloh - ver)The Suit: Clubs (♣) (also known as clovers or flowers) is one of the four suits found in the "international" deck of playing cards. The standard international deck uses the French suit system.
In bridge, it ranks lowest out of all four suits, below diamonds. In some card games of Germanic origin such as Skat or Sheepshead, the suits rank: clubs, spades, hearts, and diamonds. In cartomancy, interpretations vary; the most common association links it with inner wisdom, industriousness and creative enthusiasm, but some systems associate it with war.
The symbol, believed to be an adaptation of the German suit of acorns, was first used on French playing cards, made in Rouen and Lyon in the 15th century, around the time that playing cards were first mass-produced by the use of woodcuts.
Also, Clover is the "Jack" of the group. In the French playing card decks each court card is said to represent a particular historical or mythological personage. The jack of clubs is represented by Lancelot.The Dragon: Clover has a strong personality, but that is not to say she is mean. She can be stubborn, yes. And yes, she gets into arguments. But she reserves her strength for those who REALLY annoy her, or to protect her family and friends. She can be very creative when she wants to be, but most of the times she doesn't care too much for the 'girly' stuff.Current Stage: HatchlingHatchling Personality: Clover is somewhat shy about the world around her, retreating to the closest 'trustee' (someone she trusts) whenever something pops out at her. RELATIONSHIPSDragon: AzalaeaStatus: Clover looks up to Azalaea in many things...She admires her strength of will, her character, nearly everything. The only problem is that Azalaea is so taken with Roarke, Clover barely gets to see her. She doesn't like Roarke much for this, but she should grow out of it.Dragon: Cha'alStatus: Clover likes Cha'al, but not as much as Azalaea. However, due to Az not being around much, Clover is kind of stuck with her. She admires Cha'al in certain aspects, too. Her cunning, her ability to stay calm at all times, her uncanny speed...But when Clover is around her, it's like she's seeing a whole different person. Cha'al gets all touchy-feely, acting as if she were Clover's mother. But if Clover could have the choice, she would pick Azalaea as her mother.Dragon: DanteStatus: Clover and Dante's eggs were found not to far from each other, and as a result their owners grew up together as much as their dragons did.
